Shell Gas has historically been the expensive gas in my neighborhood and one we only visited if we were running on fumes. So was the case one day when I had the fortunate happenstance to meet Joel, the station manager. That day was T-Mobile Tuesday's, when members can get an additional 10 cents discount on each gallon of gas. I could've sworn I added the discount to my Rewards card but I hadn't. Joel patiently talked me through the process but UGH! The network connection wasn't cooperating. He was SO polite as he gave me different options to try to connect. I actually stepped outside to see if that would help and Joel was kind enough to keep me company and made pleasant conversation with me. When do you get that kind of customer service at a gas station? In the end, the network wouldn't connect and I took up the issue with T-Mobile later that night, but Joel made a frustrating experience much easier to deal with. Thanks Joel! And bonus... he sells Faygo pop, which was created and is still bottled in Detroit, Michigan, my hometown! read more

Once to my knowledge they have been closed to replace the gas tanks, and once more because they ran out of gas. My bf and I have been going to this Gas station since moving to this area in March and I have had nothing but great service. I walk down every morning from my house to get an ice coffee and a red bull and I am welcomed by the owner Aaron and cashier Kellie every single time with a smile on their face. They really care about their customers and I can say this from personal experience, my bf was recently in a accident and everyday they ask how he is doing and hope he recovers quickly. I've always had good luck, until this morning. Waited behind another car with the hose sticking out of the tank, but nobody around. After five minutes went inside to inquire. Discovered the employee behind the counter chatting with her friend, who apparently was the owner of the car. They said they were sorry, after two more minutes of waiting, the gal comes out to her car and drives off. Not very respectful...the employee drives a white Volvo wagon! read more

Definitely keeps some of the lowest gas prices in Spring Valley. They don't have many options in case you were seeking a convenient store... There are better liquor stores and Gas stations for snacking and drinks every direction you turn while standing on the corner of Valero. I like this place because the clerks have been the same for several years and I always have great conversations with them. Great customer service and awesome employees that make you prefer to stop here for gas rather than dealing with some of the more rude gas station employees and owners in the area. read more

Love going to this place new owner aarun and his staff are amazing Kelly goes above and beyond excellent customer service....reading a previous post of the young lady Laurie I was there I recall a different situation which aarun brought her into the store to get her away from the 2 girls who she was arguing with I was pumping gas and she almost hit there vehicle by accident so arguing persist and she told them to go back to there country now of course she didn't mention this,,,,and As for panhandling I have witnessed Kelly one of the employees go out there and run them off it's unfortunate this station gets a bad Rap about a block away u have a cpl of houses that house 51/50 patients that r constantly up and down the streets yelling, panhandling as for drug users or dealings I have also witnessed Kelly and aarun tell people to leave and also ban people from setting foot on there property the reality of it all u can go to any store and find all sorts of situations happening and in this case I do see this store trying there hardest to keep there customers happy and safe they have gone above and beyond to make there customers safe as well but one store can only do so much... read more
