I paid by apple pay and started using the pump and I know my car - I've had it for 10 years now so I know when it hits 12 gallons that it's done. However, the pump kept going and it freaked me out when it overflowed, wouldn't latch off, and kept going. I had to yank it off my car and watch as a GASOLINE spilled all over. And judging from the wet appearance of the ground it looks like I wasn't the first one this happened to. Thank god for the kind folks who asked if I was okay and quickly prompted me to yank the pump off and asked if I was okay. I was definitely shaken because all the employee did was put a cone on it. HE SHOULD HAVE PUT AN OUT OF ORDER SIGN AT LEAST LIKE WTF. All in all, it was incredibly sketch for Menlo Park... I ended up paying way more even after yanking the pump out. Overall: -10000000/10. They checked out the situation and didn't have the part I needed, but since I needed to drive a few hours that evening and couldn't wait for them to order what I needed, they called around until they found a shop that could help me out and made me an appointment.
