    30 cent/gallon savings as of 5/11/24
    Ron M.

Everyone should DOWNLOAD THE CHEVRON REWARDS APP because it saves money on gas prices at any Chevron station! As of today 5/11/24, the local Chevron had a public price of $6.19 per gallon for 91 octane (see pic) but I received a 30 cent/gallon discount just be entering my cell number at the pump (see pic). Super easy. Just download the app (see pic) and enroll your cell number, then enter your cell # at the pump BEFORE you fill up! Easy savings!

    Stop giving them business!

Chevron is the worst gas station around, then we have this gem right on marsh road and the 101. Not only is the customer service non existent from the unhelpful riff raff who work here, but this gas station is $1.25-1.50 per gallon more than any other non chevron station in redwood city and menlo park, AS CONSUMERS STOP BUYING FROM THESE BUSINESSES, STOP AND THEY'LL BE FORCED TO DROP THEIR PRICES or better yet they'll go out of business and have a more reputable gas station move in.

Advertised if they're open, that is not the case. 530 in the morning I hope they get it right so you're not driving in circles

My wife swears she gets better mileage using this gas versus the Valero down the road, but it is more expensive.

I park in the back, walk in and am greeted by a bunch of people in line at the pharmacy. People in that line look really irritated. This is, without a doubt, the weak point of this store. Normally Walgreens are located on a busy intersection with lots of parking around the perimeter. Not here - not that it is bad to be in a happening part of town - just different that what I would expect. The store is very dated. Not that I personally care so much - again I just find it interesting. A bunch of mirrors hang above the walls that look like from a time in history that predates video cameras for catching shoplifters. Its such a nice part of town I doubt that is an issue here anyway? I grab a bandage for my leg, some snacks and am on my way happy no to be in that pharmacy line.

My experience at this Walgreens was incredibly disappointing…read more My 84-year-old father is currently in a skilled nursing facility recovering from serious health issues. His physician called in a prescription yesterday for what appears to be conjunctivitis (pink eye), and he has been waiting for treatment. I arrived at the pharmacy counter at approximately 1:28 PM. The pharmacy employee greeted me, pulled up my father's information, and discussed the prescription with me. After already beginning the transaction, she suddenly informed me that it was now 1:30 PM and the pharmacy was closing for lunch. Without offering any assistance, empathy, or attempt to complete the transaction, a metal security gate was lowered and I was told to return in 30 minutes. What bothered me was not that the staff took a lunch break. Everyone deserves a lunch break. What bothered me was the complete lack of compassion and customer service. The employee had already accessed the prescription and was actively assisting me. Knowing the medication was for an elderly patient in a skilled nursing facility who had already been waiting since the previous day, a little common sense and courtesy would have gone a long way. Healthcare is ultimately about people. In this case, I felt like a clock mattered more than a patient. Based on this experience, I can understand why this location has struggled with customer satisfaction ratings. I sincerely hope management takes a closer look at how patients and caregivers are being treated.

More than 12 people waiting in line at the pharmacy. And the line is longer than that. There are more people behind me.

Waiting for the pharmacy. As people join the line you hear, "good lord" and " I'll be here for an hour"...

Unfortunately, there were no Mexican convenience stores nearby so we hit up the closest thing, this hole in the wall convenience store next to a divey hotel. Everyone in there seemed to know the owner so there's definitely a cast of regulars. As I head over to the small freezer cabinet I notice that it's right next to the porn. Interesting placement. As I dig around I almost settle on a Klondike Ice Cream Sandwich but I notice that there's another item made by the same manufacturer. The Choco Taco. How fitting after I ate a lunch full of tacos. For $1.50 I get a taco made of waffle cone with a filling of vanilla ice cream topped with some sort of chocolate fudge sauce. As I look at the FDA label I realize I'm going to get heart failure if I eat any more than one of these. 55% of my saturated fat packed into 290 calories. Holy cow. I thought the cream based paletas were bad for me. This sure takes cake. So even though this place is a total dive, it gets stars for having weird ass ultra fattening ice cream treats.
