So I have gone to Aria off and on for the 9yrs and it seems to progressively get worse. PROS: Sanitary! I have been to a few other places and ended up with rashes or issues from pedicure services. That is not an issue at aria. CONS: I do not want or can afford to get my nails done weekly. Generally I go a month to 6wks. I cannot do that with the service I get at Aria. The pics I included are after a week. With the way they look right now I need to have them redone. This is after I went back for a chip on my left hand 2 days after having them done. Next that green was not even close to the color I picked. I picked an olive color. That color on my nails is not the same color as the book. Also they ran out of the matching gel polish for the cream color and substituted white for my toes. My bad for not noticing till it was mostly done. Overall I am done with Aria. It's a shame because it was a nice place to go. read more

Was seen immediately and treated so well. Cindy did my pedicure and massage. She is an angel. So sweet, skilled and had a good sense of humor. She worked sooo hard and had a positive attitude the entire time I was around her. We smiled and laughed together the whole time as she worked hard (and did a great job). She herself was enough to make me want to return again. I watched the other techs in the salon interact with their clients and everyone seemed to be about the same, good positive vibes all around. Music was also a chill, upbeat piano based jazz, not too loud either. The tech and I could talk normally without having issues hearing each other and couldn't hear other peoples conversations distinctly so privacy was still there just without the headache. Cleanliness seemed to be important here too which is amazing. I noticed the tools for my pedicure were all single use and watched her open each from their package in front of me. Other tools were full metal and new/clean as well. I assume they have something like an autoclave in the back for those. The working stations were well illuminated and clear of nail dust and clutter from previous clients. I watched them clean stations thoroughly after completing projects. The smell when you walk in was non traditional for a nail salon, as in there was no smell. I used to avoid nail salons due to the pungent chemically scent but that was far from the case here. So the salon, work stations, tools and air were all well maintained/clean. With my pedicure I got my nails painted as well. Cindy, who did all the hard work on my feets leading up painted my toenails as well. She was as skilled painting them, as she was with everything else, was very precise and they turned out very clean and pretty. Also, she did the first swipe with the color on my nail then asked if the color looked good before doing the full set which was considerate. Girl got out the exacto knife too to make sure the color was within the lines as she painted then went in with the nail file after they cured to further refine them, absolute legend of detailed work. Overall a good experience. I've just had my pedicure and massage done by Cindy and they were amazing. Up next is a manicure and am being passed along to another tech. Was a frequent customer for a long time but the prices were getting ridiculous. Customer service was becoming poor. When you want a mani/pedi day you want to relax-Aria is what it means-designed like Aria in Vegas. Super bright -multiple TVs on every wall you can't hear anyway. It's just too large to feel relaxing and u was walking out spending near $200 every time. The techs are great and they do great work-but just too much going on and even post covid the prices stayed super high. For a more relaxed vibe I switched to a smaller salon-far less crowded minis Saturday and fair pricing-definitely not knocking Aria-they really do amazing work-just not my vibe. I found a nail technician that I really clicked with and her name is Yao. Was in the neighborhood and decided to get a pedicure. My nails were in desperate need to be taken care of. To the point of embarrassing- Yao did an amazing job! Conversation flowed and my nails look fantastic. Facilities are clean and she took care of my feet with TLC. Let me start by saying I've been here before and had no issues or complaints. I came in recently with my mom to get a manicure and pedicure for my wedding which was two days later. My mom and I both got the same color for our pedicure. Hers looked lovely, mine looked like a toddler did it. It was streaky and awful. I mentioned to the lady (I wish I knew her name) that the polish was streaky and she did it again equally as bad. Then we moved on to the manicure. I told her that I wanted the same nail shape as my natural nails and that she wouldn't need to cut them. She filed and cut the sides of my nails so short that for almost a week I was worried I was going to get an infection on several nails because my fingers hurt so bad. I got gel, and there was a hair on my nail. I kept telling the lady that there was a hair and it needed to be removed. She kept adding polish on top of it and asking me to cure the nail. At this point, she has not listened to me numerous times and I was frustrated and defeated. Unfortunately I think it was a language barrier. I started to get upset and just wanted to go home. Finally the manager came over. The manager had to redo both my mani and pedi. It was as if she was teaching the lady how to do nails for the first time. No apologies or discounts were given. It was really a disappointing experience on what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable week leading up to my wedding. read more

I asked specifically for pricing up front. They said "$50+" for a fill, and on their menu it says $7 for design. I have no idea what the "plus" after $50 means but i showed them my idea, and based on YEARS of getting my nails done, it's usually around $10-$20 more for French and a simple design (a line). Never did I expect that when I got to the register, it was $100. How are you gonna charge me basically DOUBLE what I was quoted and not even tell me anything up front? I'm from Southern California where everything is overpriced and not once have I been charged this much. I paid $45 in Orange County for a full set with a French tip. I said thank you and smiled and paid, waited to calm down, and came back to discuss. One person said "a design is $20" and another said the fill is $60 and "French is $40 and design was $10". Their menu doesn't even have a fill listed as an option. You can't just make up pricing as you go. People need to know how much they're paying. That's shady and I will not come back, nor will I recommend. They apologized in a cavalier way and didn't offer to refund me anything. It should be noted that they were polite and did a nice job on my nails, but if I'm going somewhere for a service, I want to know what to expect. I'm a law student and I budget for the little treats I give myself. That's a terrible business practice. It also didn't seem very clean in there. When I sat down, the station was already covered in dust and they didn't lay down a towel or anything. This is Hillsboro. Not Beverly Hills. You need to calm down with that pricing. read more

Do not go here. I went in for a fill and to get my 3 year old polish. I asked for nude to black ombré. She said they couldn't do that so I said "let's just do a solid black" after my daughter's nails were done, my sister came to pick her up since she wasn't wanting to sit still anymore. Atleast 10 mins after my daughter left, when she got through sanding off my old polish she said "oh you didn't have black powder, do you still want the ombré?" And so I said "yeah if we can still do the ombré, let's do it" Then she did a pink to white ombré and when she finished I said "This isn't what I asked for, I asked for nude to black" and she said "no I asked you if you wanted this" and then got up and walked away. In the past when I have gone elsewhere, they do the pink/natural color and then use a brush to add the color powder for the ombré so when I approved the pink color, it was for the top part. Nowhere did I ask for pink and white. I showed 4 people the picture of what I wanted. at that point, I didn't know what to do so I just shook my head, paid in cash and then left. Then after I showed my sister, she was like nah that's not okay. We go back and they told me they do not do refunds and that it was MY fault that I got what I got because I wasn't paying attention because I had my daughter with me. My daughter was no longer there when this ate in the process happened. I asked to speak with the owner and I had to wait over 30 mins to do so and then was told that I was wrong and it was my fault again and I need to pay attention next time. I again asked for a refund and she said no and that she can fix the shape then and then have me come back to get them re-done or she could fix them right then. I reluctantly agreed to let her fix them and asked if we were doing solid black or the ombré and she assured me she could do the ombré. Well this is what I got. I paid $85 for this. Really disappointing. I've been coming here intermittently for a very long time. I asked for a Solar full set. Knowing I work with my hands a lot, and knowing acrylic doesn't hold on my nails. After 3 days and every single nail popping off I went to get them fixed when I was in vacation in Arizona. Really great use of my vacation time right? I was told that the full set I had was in fact acrylic. $85 not including tip is what I was charged. Upon calling, I was told their brand of acrylic was named Solar.... What.a.joke. And after asking why I was charged $85 for acrylic nails, I was told that wasn't the proper price and I was overcharged $10, and that's counting me getting shellac. The receptionist said "I can't do anything, you need to come back in if they are popping off or lifting. Mind you, nails had been done for a vacation I was going on the next day. Honestly a little disappointed. I came in on Saturday for a fill and pedicure. All the nails on my left hand are slightly shorter than my right hand, the square nails are sagging in the middle on some fingers as well. For my pedicure I thought it all went well, until my polish came off not even two days later. Keep in mind this was a gel pedicure with the building gel, so I paid an extra $10 to have it fall off not even two days later. All in all I paid $125 and don't feel like I got my moneys worth. I called and same day they were able to get me in for a dip nail on my natural nail. The salon has a very clean feel and they played relaxing music the whole time which was a great bonus. They have a wide range of great colors, much better than many other salons I've been to. I asked for the ballerina shape and the tech checked at multiple points during the process they were shaped how I liked (which I greatly appreciated!). The entire appointment lasted just over an hour. The result was simply beautiful-the cleanest, most even and smooth set I've ever had. I have been coming here for years and have been a loyal customer,but the last 3 times I have been there the new people who work there don't know how to do nails! By day two the pedicure polish peels off and the dip that they put on is super thin that it comes off by day two as well. The male mail tech burned my finger nail with the electric polisher, because he was working so fast and forceful, and didn't say sorry. I came back on my scheduled appointment to have it redone, and was told wait 15-20 min. I let them know that my time is important, and I have other things scheduled and can't wait. The receptionist didn't seem to care or the owner. I am very disappointed that I was treated this way, and they don't give refunds for the unprofessional work the technician did. Will not be returning unfortunately :( Loved coming here for over 3 years I bring 2-3 people with me each time I come.(my mom and kids) and I drive over 20 minutes to come here. After coming here for some time I always chose the same pedicure package and this day the manager recommended something different for us (this was the Herbal pedicure package and we usually get the Rejuvenated package) and I asked to make sure if callus remover was included in that package as it was in the one I regularly get for my mom and I. She confirmed yes it is included. Then that changed half way through the service that my mom needs to pay $10 extra because she had a lot of build up (totally understandable). I was told I probably would not pay that. (I had no build up like my moms because I use a callus remover at home and I was told it comes with the package I chose) The whole thing that is a little bothersome is the back and forth and uncertainty we received with these conversations of paying extra that took place throughout the service. I do not mind paying more for my mom but each time I come here the price seems to go up slightly. As a woman of business I just do not find it ethical to upcharge people for something like $7-$10 that is communicated as included in the package because ultimately losing a client that pays around $200 each visit or more plus $20 tips for each tech is kind of bizarre to be willing to lose that client over $7/$10. I would recommend just put callus remover not included in your books for all the packages so clients know they must pay more for callus remover. I seen on the next page at the bottom callus remover $5-$10. Having something that just says callus remover on another page isn't helpful to you or the client who is confused on what is included and not included in packages on the other page and in the past we have been told it is included in the more expensive packages so we have always chosen that. Although this occurred I will say the atmosphere has always been great with the setting. Always clean and the chairs are very nice. read more

There is major inconsistency here. Ive had my nails done here a few times and everything went ok. I guess $45 for a polish change seemed steep but I assumed it was due to the type of gel they used?? The last manicure I had my nails done they had ridges and the shape was not as I had requested but thought I'd try a different tech. When I had my last Mani done I confirmed the price for the future, liquid gel fill is $45; the gal up front said yes. I decided to make an appointment with Tracy as she was written highly about in a few online comments and thought maybe this time would be a better experience. I will say she did a beautiful job on my nails (30mins behind my scheduled appointment and cut my fingers twice) but I did love the finished product. Before I started the service I said "liquid gel fill and pedicure", she confirmed and proceeded with the service. As I went to pay the total was much higher than I had calculated so I asked for a detailed receipt. I was charged $69 for the fill so I asked about the price difference. Tracy responded by saying it was a buildable gel and that was the cost. I was confused and disappointed as I didn't not request a buildable gel and felt deceived. I won't be returning here because I need consistency in price and my time is valuable. read more

I arrived at 2pm to get a full set & pedicure & there was so many workers standing around & I had to wait 20+ min to get my service the lady TOOK HER TIME that's forsure, an hr & a half of her doing my nails I'm still no where near done with them .... & makes me second guess getting a pedicure considering it's 5pm already.. didn't know getting my nails done would take up my WHOLE day... the service needs to be faster & the price is wild 110$ for full set & 60$ for a pedicure.... I clearly came to the wrong place. I can't stand extremely slow service... if you're looking for a SLOW place with outrageous prices this is it.. first time here & NOT coming back. I only came because the reviews were good.. don't believe everything you see on the internet.. the atmosphere is nice & cute but I can't stand slug slow... My nails turned out fair definitely not for the price & the pace... smh overpriced and the pedicure she started massaging my legs while my toes were still drying that's odd... here it is 6:30pm and I got here at 2pm ... so 4.5 hrs later and cost me 200$ I'm just mind blown ... IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS. DO NOT COME HERE Let's start off with when I got checked in. The receptionist checked us in and made us sit in the lobby. We waited for 15-20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us... we got there at our appointment time. I did a basic acrylic fill which should've been $35. Opaque nude coat for the base and a nude tip... nothing special as you can see. When it was time to go and pay, I was expecting like a $5-$10 additional charge for my tips. But what Tracy had told me was that my fill is gonna cost $65..... THATS THE SAME PRICE AS A FULL SET. She said because it took a long time to do... but in reality it took a while because they guy who was doing my fill up and left me waiting for another lady to do my polish. I asked her what is it that costs an extra $30... the only reason she gave me was the length it took to complete the design. I kept asking questions to get more clarification and she just looked at me without saying a word. So I paid the $65 and that same day my polish chipped... it's funny how they want to take pride in their work and up charge everyone for a shit job. So all in all HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.... Their prices are buried on their site, so I couldn't locate them again. I was upsold the paraffin wax for my feet for like $7, and I added a brow wax. Somehow that came up to $87??? So $30 for a brow wax (even if the mani pedi was $30 each that's still $20 for a brow wax??)? This place ripped me off. The lady was nice. They don't honor your reservation time. With the stylists, it's a hit or miss. One lady cut too deep when removing cuticle and she sent me home with glue to stop the bleeding. My doctor had to prescribe antibiotics the next day. Another wouldn't listen to what I needed. Not when I requested thrice to increase the water temp, not when I requested to remove the ingrown nails, not when I requested to even the edges, nope. I had to retract my feet from her cause she was aggressive and wouldn't stop. I went to another place right after and they had to pretty much clean the cuticle all over again. She told the owner instead that it was about the shape of the nails instead of mentioning all this. Kickers? She handed me a cotton ball to remove the old paint myself. Not worth it. read more

They've even fixed a broken nail for free a few times! They have a great selection of colors & will always offer a drink. They do tend to get super busy & behind sometimes but the service is always A+ I've had Jessica, both Ann's (there's a younger & an older) & Tracy the owner. They all have been great! Super upsetting visit. First off, I'd like to give credit where it's due and say the salon does feel clean and has a relaxing vibe to it. However, the customer service wasn't not acceptable. I had booked an appointment a few days before- being that this was my second visit and I liked the man who did my nails the first time [Louie]. I was not sat with the nail technician I requested and when I asked if I could wait for him to finish up with his current client, the available nail tech [Anthony] insisted I'd sit with him for my appointment. There was tension the whole appointment. The nail tech was aggressive. I was ignored when I tried to make suggestions. I wasn't offered cuticle oil or lotion in the end- it just wasn't a pleasant experience. Lastly, I was told that my tab would be $50 by the Latina receptionist at the energizing of the appointment. Once I was done with my appointment, the bill somehow increased $10. With no design or access move length. I wasn't welcomed in that chair and the nail tech made sure I was aware of that. read more
