Sub-par experience. I had a few questions regarding the type of polish and brand and they seemed very annoyed by my questions and simple requests. Very quick service and not detailed enough for me. I found it odd they used a drill file for buffing my nails and didn't use the $1 file they made me pay for. Maybe spent 3 minutes total on cuticle cleanup for both hands? Polish is uneven. I feel like there wasn't attention given to the details. Perhaps it was rushed, but as you can see from the pic it's not good. I've had many many many dip powder manicures before, and they look way better than this one. The lady that did my pedicure was super sweet, so that's a plus. For the manicure, I didn't even get the lotion they add at the end. You can see from the pictures the edges still need work. For $40 for a dip manicure you would expect a decent job. Also, they don't use the little bags on the pedicure tub, which I prefer. Didn't know they didn't, but if that's your preference, then this isn't the place for you. She cut my toenail sideways for some reason and I have been in a lot of pain as it grows back out. The massage and scrub I received from her was also very lackluster and she kept looking at the clock the entire time. It felt rushed. I'm not a big nails person by any means but was really happy with my experience at Très Jolie! I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and was helped right away. The last time I went to a nail salon was probably at least a decade ago, but I remember the chemical smell being really heavy and almost headache-inducing. Très Jolie didn't have this at all and felt pretty fresh. I ended up choosing to get a gel manicure without any cuticle trimming/shaping. My nail tech was really meticulous and worked quickly without seeming rushed. We didn't really have a conversation but I didn't mind at all. I was in and out in about 30 minutes! I work in food, so I'm washing my hands pretty vigorously every few minutes. Even so, my nails lasted a good (close to) 2 weeks looking as nice as when I just got them done. read more

Called Sunday morning and scheduled a mani/pedi with regular polish for my mom and I for later that afternoon. When we arrived everyone was wearing masks, we were asked to wash our hands and then pick colors. We each had two staff members, one did our toes and another did our hands after the pedicure was over. The salon was really clean, everyone was very friendly and took their time while doing our nails. My mom accidentally scratched a toe and a finger while we were waiting for our nails to dry but they very kindly fixed both for her. Vibe is so so, they are not very friendly no one smiles. I went with a friend and their pedicure was really good. My pedicure had chipped polish 2 days afterwards and one of my nails had a jagged dip into where it wasn't filed evenly after being cut. My cuticles on my baby toes were not pushed back in the outer side and therefore only 3/4 of my baby toes were polished. In general my cuticles not done well at all which led to the nail polish chipping off starting from the cuticle downward. I called and without hesitation was told that they would fix it, that was good. The issue is that when I arrived the woman who greeted me was not friendly at all. When I pointed out the obvious reasons I was there again (wasting my time that I didn't really have) she had a bad attitude towards me. When I asked the name of the gal who had done my pedicure she got rude. She was not interested in telling me the name of the gal which means that I will not be able to tell them not to book me with that girl again. I will try them again in hopes to get the guy who did my friends pedicure. read more

Went in to get Pedi/Mani in preparation for a trip to Hawai'i. I tried SNS powder gel for the first time. They were a bit too thick and looked unnatural (not the look I was going for). My pedicure and manicure were done by two different people. I did however love how my pedicure came out (didn't get to take a picture)! Welp I have some mixed feelings about this place so I'll list my pros and cons: Pros: My polish looks good My nail tech was friendly (i forget his name) I made an appointment but it was not very busy- I was seen on time Good selection of colors Cons: Lil pricey- $45 for a gel mani and regular pedi and they don't do hot towels or massage (those are extra$). All the other salons i've been to at this price point offer massage and towel. You are required to bring in your own nail file. No one told me this when making my appointment so they gave me a used one to take home after they used it on me. Tools are stored in recycled ziplock bags- not fresh packages like i'm used to. After he used a metal tool on my heel he just put it back in the drawer No massage chair No pedicure bowl liners/ display of cleaning after we used it So... I want to start off saying that I have sent the establishment 2 emails giving them the opportunity to make this right with me before writing a bad review. They never responded to me so here I am. I've attached photos of the email. Basically I was charged $40 for a powdered dip service and was not informed that they don't clean up cuticles. Why would I come in for a nail service and not want my nails cleaned up? Here I am less than 2 weeks later and one nail came completely off. That has never happened before when I've gone to Max's nails in Lake Oswego. And that's because they actually clean your nails to create a clean palette to put the powder on. Color was left on my skin as was clear polish. My old powder color was left on my skin as well. When I realized the tech was going right into putting color on my nails without doing my cuticles, I asked him about it and he said they don't include that. I kept telling him there was polish and color left on my skin. And when I checked out I told him I was not happy with the results and he said well we charge $5 for cuticle clean up. I said you never offered that to me! He still took my $40. Go to Max's Nails where they charge $35 for a full manicure and powder dip and my color has NEVER came off within a month. read more

First nail salon in Beaverton that I am pleased with. They kept their appointment time, no wait and VERY efficient. Got shellac mani and paraffin pedi. Both were done at the same time so it was a long drawn out visit which I was absolutely impressed. Both nail techs did a wonderful job and painted my fingers and toes with the perfect layer of polish, not too thick and solid color throughout. It only took 45 minutes for the entire visit! Perfect for those who are busy but need that quick maintenance! Definitely recommend checking this place out. I have lived in Beaverton for 3 years and have not been happy with the shops in the area. This is the first nail salon I have tired since moving back to the Portland area and I have to say I am very impressed. The salon is in a great location for me. However since it shares a parking lot with 5 others businesses it does get crowded during peak times. There is parking across the street if it is too bad. My appointment was just after they opened on a Saturday morning. My momand I both went to get Shellac manicures and pedicures. The inside of the salon is gorgeous; clean and doesn't have the strong odors most nail salons do. The staff are friendly and offer something to drink when you are seated [water, hot tea, or wine]. Their pedicure chairs are very comfortable and the manicure stations are just as nice. The pedicure was great. Very relaxing and the paint job is impressive on my little toenails. I showed the women a picture of what I wanted and she did a great job matching it [even going as far as to pick out a different color that matched better then the one I had]. The Shellac manicure was nice and quick. The only complaint I have is that a couple of my nails are very clearly not straight but it's not enough to really complain about. I have a really hard time paying for mani pedi services especially when I can do it at home for hardly anything. My daughter deserved a little mani pedi after a tough day and I took her there based on Red Tricycle's suggestion for kids to go in. The smell. Wow. The smell of nail polish and chemicals is overwhelming. I realize that we got regular polish but in less than 24 hours it's already chipped and peeled on her hands and feet. We had a very hard time communicating what we needed done and then nothing online shows the "cash tips only." So after she had a $25 mani pedi (which was less than 30 minutes total,) I spent 20 minutes trying to get money for a cash tip. The salon itself is clean but seeing the employees with masks doing nails is a clear indication that kids shouldn't be there. I will never take my kids back, despite how cute the pedicure chair was, the quality of what you get and the exposure of crazy chemicals just isn't worth it.After 2 days the nail and toe polish was CRAZY chipped.
