The best pizza in the Beaufort area..... the crust is always perfectly cooked & it's the right amount of crust to sauce & topping ratio. Like have you ever bit into a pizza and it was mostly dough? Or mostly cheese? Or too saucy? And then it throws off the whole pizza? You'll never bite into a Piace's pizza pizza and feel that way. The servers are (forgive me) seemingly two women who have been working here since the pizza store opened & they are very quick to bring the drinks, the food, linger for a minute or two to chat & ensure a tip but it's not Michelin star restaurant service. Don't expect much, but do expect common southern hospitality. We have not been to their new location (but are happy it's closer to us!!) but I know it's going to be epic & it looks a lot cleaner and less run down. Which doesn't deter me from the taste/quality of the pizza just because there was a bit of dust on the walls. read more

We were excited to try this place we heard great reviews about. Apparently they moved locations and did not update this on Google or answer the phone when we were looking for them. We drove 45 minutes to give them a try to only end up eating somewhere else. Was so looking forward to great pizza. The following week I was still seeing great reviews about this pizza so I commented on some of the posts. This is when I learned they moved locations. So we drove back down the next weekend. They have NO SIGN up. If they did we would have spotted it when we drove out the weekend before. As we passed right by it. So now we're finally here. Place is busy. Parking is crazy. Get seated right away. Server doesn't take long to come to our table she takes our order brings our drinks and we never see her again until we were finished. They do have food runners bringing out the food. But not clearing plates. So our salad and appetizer plates remained on the tiny table for 2 while we ate our dinner. We ran out of beverages and never got any refills until we were ready to leave. However this was some of the best pizza we've had. Definitely the best in this area. Sauce perfect, toppings perfectly spread out all over and crust perfectly cooked. Meatballs and sauce appetizer were also excellent and fresh. Very tiny portion for the price though. Beware! Hostess and Manager do not know anything about customer service! Their attitudes were short, did not make eye contact and tone of voices were cold! Plus they charge extra for using a Debit card! If you Google the legality, there is extra charge for credit but Not Debit! It is against the law!. After living in Beaufort, collectively for a total of eight years, this is the first time I have visited. I heard great things and honestly just kept putting it off. I called in a pick up order today and the process was absolutely easy. Their full menu is available on their website. The person on the phone was super nice. Clear signage directing me to where I needed to pick up my pizza. Pizza was estimated to take 30 minutes and it was ready for me when I got there. I ordered the Piace and The Pep and both were perfectly cooked. I can't believe I waited this long to try this place. When I enter the establishment, it was very nice and clean looking; very inviting environment. We will definitely be back. read more

I ordered a pizza through DoorDash from their website. Paid for it through the website. Sent my husband to get it and the girl said this is a DoorDash. I don't understand why she kept saying it's a DoorDash. He gave her my name. It was already paid for I called up there to speak to the manager. And he wanted to argue, so we said just cancel the order. They refused to give us a refund so I had to drive up there to get a pizza that God only knows what they did to it. After the argument on the phone so I ended up losing $24 and 76 centand not getting any dinner. Piace Pizza used to be the "Goto" place for some great subs and pizza. After 2022 these guys fell apart "completely". Today, their pizzas are just okay and their subs rate right up there around Subway (or I should say "down" there). I ordered their "Gram's Meat-a-Balls" hoagie...All I can say is complete garbage. Oversized bun, 4 small machine made-processed fake meat "balls", with sauce spilled out of a can, baked in a microwave to melt the most unholy amount of Walmart cheese you could imagine - dont imagine it, you'll have nightmares! Horrible. I ate there last season and felt like they were going down hill - but this year well, they've hit rock bottom. We have eaten here many times (in house and take out) and I called in an order yesterday for dinner for a Med Piace ($15.95 on website) and Greek Salad ($8.95 on website) but was told the total was a little over $36 with tax. When I called back to verify the price after looking at the website again, I was told the price was right and the website was wrong. We came and got the 'to go' order anyway, but beware if you are using their website for pricing (- there is the note below the menu that prices may vary and are subject to change). Why bother posting a menu with prices if that isn't what you charge. The website can be updated in less than the time it took me to type this review. I told the guy he needed to have someone update their website menu pricing but he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. Out of principle, I won't go back. read more

We have had pizza from a couple places in Beaufort, South Carolina and this is definitely the best. I absolutely love 'the pep' and the 'Buffalo chicken'. I would recommend both of them. An employee actually recommended the Buffalo chicken and I am so glad we jumped on it. We have done one order for delivery and 1 order for pick up. The delivery order was on time and the pick up order was ready as promised. There are a few tables outside for dining but inside dining is currently closed because of COVID. We love getting pizza here and want to try the wings. Our neighbor highly recommends them so that is next on our list! read more

Great job guys. You can tell you put a lot of love in your food. WAY better than Upper Crust... I've only had 1 issue, 1 time... out of 4 total visits so far.... they left the chicken parm sandwich in the oven too long and burnt it. It smelled burnt driving home instead of the yum smell you normally get.... The restaurant was empty so I don't get why it was burnt. We will be back and recommend. Keep up the good work. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and it did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in, I was hit with the smell of delicious pizza. The restaurant was pretty busy with only one server, but she was on top of it! I was really impressed with how attentive and fast she was when she had so many tables. We ordered the chicken wings. So good! They're more like fried chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. We just ordered the plain cheese pizza. I was also impressed with this. The crust had the perfect crunch. Kind of hard to find- we drove by it not seeing the sign or street turn, but found it after turning around. This is a hidden gem! This is one of the best pizzas my husband and I have ever had, and we each got something different. We will definitely be back next time we're there. Love the food and this is still my favorite place for pizza but today I am beyond shocked as I wait on my order. 3 times i heard the woman taking payments state "I only get paid $3 an hour". Is this really something you should be saying to your customers? Or I don't know what's wrong with people they just don't tip if they pick up? Was this passive aggressive attitude directed toward me as I patiently wait and just supported this business by paying you $50 for dinner?
