Unless it's cold and raining, you'll find me outside on the porch in the sun while my dog sits underneath the canopy in the shade. Shelley is your host who will take your order and smile a laugh with you. Her husband is behind the griddle cooking up fantastic breakfast. I like my egg scrambled with cheddar. My bacon well done and my hashbrowns crispy. Just like they make 'em here. I usually get one pancake on the side and Shelley's husband makes a big one! Have been there a few times over three years. And, twice in the last two days. Lunch yesterday was interrupted by a family emergency, the the pastrami sando taken to go was excellent last night. Went for breakfast this morning was also excellent. Many friends have recommended the Meat Lovers' Omelette and they were correct. Only complaint is both the hash browns and the breakfast spuds were too salty, and not just a little. Shelly has a clipped wing and her granddaughter was helping with orders and serving. Both were excellent dealing with our emergency departure, service, drinks refilled cheerfully, etc. I am stingy with FIVE stars, but over the years Shelly's has earned it and continue to provide great food and excellent service. read more

I've had two lunches here, and both have been excellent. The Chicken sandwich special the first trip and a bacon cheeseburger the next. The fries were really small with the burger, but they explained why. They were still tasty though. They are open to the public, so even if you don't golf, it's a good place for breakfast or lunch. read more
