We were pleasantly surprised by how great this place was in terms of food and service because the food options were very limited around Burney. The inside is super modern and cozy with very cute seasonal decorations. We were seated right away, and we ordered the jalapeño poppers, the steak sandwich and the ribeye surf and turf. The steak sandwich was so tender and so flavorful with a perfect bread. It is probably one of our top favorite steak sandwiches ever!! I also really enjoyed the ribeye with the sides. Our server confirmed thought they source their meat locally and mostly their grass fed. The jalapeños wrapped in prosciutto with cream cheese in side was a standout. I highly recommend this place. If you're nearby and definitely get the steak sandwich we will definitely be back here. there is also a lovely coffee shop next-door that serves breakfast items. read more

My husband and I were in the area near Burney to go see Burney Falls and were looking for a dinner spot. Not a lot in Burney, but this place in Fall River Mills looked promising and it was so good. It is a little restaurant and pub within the quaint Fall River Mills old style hotel. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but we were seated right away, and the decor was so quaint and cute with a beautiful stone fireplace. I had my eye on a fried chicken sandwich, and it was so amazing with coleslaw, fried jalapeños and chicken done just right. The garlic shoestring fries that came with it were cooked just right and delicious . My husband ordered a smash burger and fries, and he was very happy with his as well. Service was excellent. Our waters were always full. I also ordered a basil margarita which was delicious and at a good price. The price of our meals also I feel were very reasonable for the quality. The old style hotel looked so quaint along with the small town that I wished I had known ahead of time to book a room here instead of the room in Burney. I arrived just after 11 am but still got a classic Denver omelette from the breakfast menu. It came with a huge helping of country potatoes: cubes of potatoes and squash with red pepper. Food- pretty amazing. I had a grilled cheese with bacon jam on some perfectly toasted/grilled sourdough with fries and the partner had what seemed to be a full on steak on her salad. Service was ideal even for the onslaught of diners. I've never seen this town this full and while we were eating, someone came in looking for a room in which to stay. When researched, there were no more rooms left in the hotel here and there was only one left down the road. Ambiance was casual with a bar "saloon" in the other room. I live in the area and this was a to-go order. I originally called to order two smash burgers, but they were sold out of hamburgers and french fries on a Tuesday evening, which was a huge surprise to me. So, I only ordered one sandwich; a Turkey Panini which is how it is listed on the menu... which I assumed (shame on me) a Panini Press would be used. When I picked up the sandwich, I paid and was then handed the box...no bag, no napkins. I asked for napkins. When I got in the car, I opened the box with the sandwich, well, look at the picture, really?? Where is the turkey? A few little bits on either side of the bread. No Panini Press used here... It was awfully dry with just a bit of their "signature jelly" and cream cheese. I also ordered a piece of cheesecake; it was my fault for not asking the price first...but it was certainly the smallest piece of cheesecake I've seen for $11+ bucks. I just couldn't in all good conscience, take the cheesecake, so that I declined. Needless to say, the entire experience was a disappointment for me, I suspect my expectations are just a bit higher than what could be offered. read more

Wish this place was better, no so blah for one they seated us fast but made us move from a two table to a four table. With only two people waste of area. The cooking staff looked over at my husband with mean eyes. Not the most welcoming place to eat as we ate lunch here, slight noise of people talking , dark room with incandescent lighting, Burger was dry , onions burnt and the waitress was switched as soon as we seen who was waiting on us she gave her table to another young person. Having good food options is a key to the success of the town. In the Fall River Valley we've been blessed with a few: Crumbs, 'Ol Merc, Bulldog, plus a few great coffee shop options. But now this fine valley has another option. 5 star option at that!! The old Fall River Mills Hotel has been purchased by an experienced couple who have updated and upgraded small town facilities before. In addition to the hotel upgrades they have opened a new restaurant plus a new coffee shop. Note: the famous old school cowboy bar is still there. But they refurbished the rest of the ground floor for the restaurant, Café, and coffee shop. Grazerz Grub & Pub is the restaurant. Amazing. I've had the lobster ravioli and also the French dip. As far as French dips go, this is a top 5 favorite of mine anywhere in the us. The rolls are soft yet with just the right amount of crunch. The meat is piled on complete with grilled onions and all the additional fixings and cheese. And the juice sauce is top shelf. I've gone with both the regular fries and the sweet potato fries. Either will disappoint you. So if you're in the fall River Valley and can't get into Crumbs, and want something, a little bit quieter than the old Merc, buzz on over to Grazer's grub and pub. Perfect hole in the wall at a great stay in town! Jess was an amazing waitress, super friendly and really helpful when it came to choosing what to order. She recommended the fire shrimp and a side salad, and both were absolutely delicious. I also loved that I could order a matcha right at my seat, the gentleman who helped me there was very attentive as well. Wow, based on our visit I couldn't recommend Grazerz more highly. From the cocktails we ordered at the bar before dinner, to our appetizer, right through dinner, everything was delicious. The bar had a nice crowd and appears to be a late afternoon gathering spot for locals. The Old Fashioned and margarita were great. We decided to have prosciutto wrapped jalapeños as an appetizer, and didn't leave a crumb. My shrimp pasta was amazing with plenty of shrimp to go around, and then I stole a bite of the prime rib sandwich the Mrs ordered, and it made me want to come back again the next day (unfortunately our last day in town). I happened across Grazerz my first night in Fall River Mills and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. I had the Who Gives a Cluck Southern Sandwich with garlic fries and finished with the bananas foster bread pudding. Fantastic all the way around. I tried the Fireside Chat cocktail and Heather's presentation of that drink was impressive (think blowtorch and a drink that tastes like s'mores around a campfire). I hadn't intended to eat at the same place both nights of my stay as I like to explore food when I travel. But the food and service were so good that I couldn't pass up a second dinner there. I hadn't intended the surf and turf special: a ribeye and bacons wrapped prawns. Delish! And the service was incredible. Had I stayed a 3rd night I would have gone back a third time. read more

This place is OUTSTANDING! We were staying in Burney for the night on a Sunday and by the time we were ready to grab dinner, most in town restaurants were closed or about to close. We found this place on Yelp versus having a meal at the casino (18 minute drive) and it was totally worth it! You can tell a lot of thought and love has went into this place. The ambiance is cozy, very small (intimate), as if you are eating at someone's house. The service was also wonderful and attentive. You can tell that the food quality is fresh and home made. We started with the signature cocktails- I'll be your huckleberry and the maple old fashioned. Both drinks were delicious and well balanced. The huckleberry reminded me of sour gummy worms. We ordered the clam chowder and onion soup, both were really flavorful, rich and fresh. I've never had the vegetables in a clam chowder be well cooked and yet have a slight fresh crunch to them. The broth of the onion soup was very rich and packed such a wonderful flavor bomb. We then ordered one of the dinner specials- beef stroganoff and their take on a prime rib french dip with shoestring garlic fries. Again, the stroganoff had such a punch of rich flavor. Included with the garlic fries was a side of ranch (without having to ask). Both meats were tender and well seasoned. Finally, we ordered the crème brûlée and the peach fosters bread pudding. The bread pudding was to DIE for... I can't even describe how satisfying good this dish was. The brûlée was also delicious but was upstaged by the bread pudding. I honestly wish we lived closer because I would love to try everything on the menu. This is a must stop if you are in the area, or need to take the time to drive out here. read more

Grazers for breakfast is NOT Grazers for lunch or dinner. Have eaten there twice now and both experiences were very inconsistent on several levels. First time was a bacon waffle. Their "Fluffy" waffle was flat, dense, and tasteless. Second time I went with friends and ordered a bacon omelet. Omelet was phenomenal! But hash browns were blah, as were my friend's, and avocado slice was rock hard. Took 15 minutes to get our order in (they only had one other couple dining.) and AN HOUR to get our food. Several orders were not delivered at all and had to be asked for again. Biscuits promised were not delivered. And then there's the coffee issue. You can order coffee from Grazers and it comes in a french press. Or you order from Fall River Coffee (preferred) in the same hotel,and pay separately for it. Awkward. Either way there are no refills! Yes, lunch and dinner can be fab but stay away from breakfast! read more
