Someone came to the house to see if we could use the current base and decided we needed only stone work done. We also used Nick for fence post removal and he was responsive and priced reasonable. The team quickly removed the unnecessary cinder blocks and elevated the base for the stone (important to us since we need drainage). They even put grass seed down and cleaned up the yard. The shed itself was easy for delivery (we didn't have to be home). It looks great in the yard and is very well made! We are happy with the purchase and are thankful the team did a great job with install.

Very disappointed in Tom Adams. Their salesman was not knowledgeable and sold us the wrong…read moreproducts. He acted like he knew what he was talking about. We asked a lot of questions and really thought we were getting a good product. We were promised our flooring would be durable and a hard grade floor. The flooring they sold was horrible from day one. It fell apart shortly after we got it. They blamed it on wear and on my dogs. They even sent an inspector to the house. The inspector blamed my dogs and wear over time. The floor fell apart in the first 6 months. We didn't even have our dogs then, and it fell apart in areas we didn't walk on! Plus, it was their inspector which we felt was totally in favor of Tom Adams and biased. The report came back that my dogs and wear were the cause of this. Totally preposterous! We must have replace hundreds of planks over the years. It couldn't be wear, especially since the planks weren't the same as the ones that were originally installed. We were told it was going to be a very durable wood floor, good for dogs, foot traffic, etc, and not soft grade. We got the total opposite! We can't resurface them or stain them, they would totally fall apart. Tom Adams kept replacing planks and the same thing continued to happen. Tom Adams would not take responsibility or would the manufacturer. They stopped using the manufacturer knowing these problems with Chesapeake flooring. We just kept getting the run around. The warranty meant nothing, because no one would make good on it or take responsibility. We even showed Tom Adams the bad reviews regarding the company's floors. The reviews stated that the same thing was happening to others. They had knowledge that these were horrible wood floors. We would have been better off with LVP or manufactured wood. The flooring that was in our house originally was there for 25 years with out a scratch and had plenty of wear. They were just older and thinner and we wanted a thicker plank that was more modern. Had we known what we were getting or dealing with we never would have gotten new flooring. After all the calling and replacing 70 or more planks every 6 months, Tom Adams still would not replace the floor that cost thousands of dollars. To the consumer, research floors before you buy and make sure that you use a company that is knowledgeable and that the salesman they hire know all about the flooring they are selling. Read reviews on the floors and carpets. We're so disappointed with our experience with Tom Adams. We now have floors that Tom Adams will not make good on, and are falling apart. They said, we could replace them at cost. Seriously! We paid thousands of dollars and shouldn't have to replace them in 8 years. Not to mention this has been on going since 6 months after they were installed.They look horrible and we're stuck with splintering wood floors with filler that comes out. Not the quality we paid for at all! Do your research and use another company. We would advise everyone to not use Tom Adams in the future.

My GC originally hired Tile Studio for a rebuild of our kitchen after a flood. I chose a large…read moretravertine and was initially happy with the floor. A year later, I started seeing cracking in the tiles and grout. I called, no response. I continued to call for over a year, and finally, they responded. They came out and looked and said they would repair tile and grout under warranty. They fixed the tile, but not the grout. The grout they did put in around the new tiles was a much lighter color, but they assured me that it was only because it was new, and it would age to the proper color. I later found out they had based the replacement grout on the receptionist remembering that I had wanted a floor from the studio display. While I had chosen the tile from the display, I had not chosen the same grout, as it was far too light for a kitchen floor. A couple of years later, grout still cracked, more tiles cracked. I had them come out again, and they said they would replace them and fix the grout. There was no mention of a charge, nor was an estimate given, oral or written. They came out and Frank repaired the tiles. He was careful and talented, and the only reason I would give any stars. He had me help choose the grout, and the new grout around the new tiles is almost perfect. Then came the bill. I was told that since the cracking was due to joist movement, it wasn't their problem, so they had to charge me. $2600. For about 12 tiles. I understand if there is a problem and a company needs to charge for repairs. But, the proper procedure is to give an estimate. If I had been given an estimate, I would have fully understood that I was not under any warranty. I would have then been free to hire someone else for the repairs. TL/DR: Shoddy work + over a year of waiting for a reply + wrong color grout + bill when none discussed + no communication = unhappy customer And, the grout is still the wrong color.
