When I called them to inquire and book, I ensured they wouldn't shave them and she responded "you never shave an Aussie!" Which was such a relief to hear! They do a fabulous job with the wash, dry, and cut. They always look well cut, they do a great job working with our temperamental dogs with the hair dryer, and know how to work well with reactive dogs. I can't say enough good things about them. Our friend even called to book an appointment for her Aussie after seeing our pups. I will say it's pricey, over $100 for a groom, however with as many horror stories as I've heard and seen, it's worth it for a good cut.

Since shedding season has just begun, we decided to take him in for a shed treatment and bath. We heard about this place from my sister-in-law who has taken her dogs there for nail trims. You have to call to make an appointment, but they're really flexible and I didn't have to wait more than a few days to get in. They also asked what my vet was so they could verify the rabies vaccination, which was nice that I didn't have to chase down his records myself. When we took him in, the front desk person was welcoming and help us get all checked in. They asked a few questions about his demeanor, and we assured them that he is mostly a chicken and the most difficult he'll be is he'll freeze up when he gets anxious. They called me about two hours later and he was ready to go. I had to get him within an hour of him finishing. When I got there, I paid first and then they brought him out. He had a super sweet bandanna on, and I could tell that they really worked hard on getting his undercoat out. We haven't had the best experience with de- shed treatments around town as he always comes to us just as hairy. I think some places think that they can get a few minutes of brushing and then call it good but this dude has like three layers of undercoat. You can tell the staff here really spent time on getting that out. Not to mention he smelled SO good. No wet dog smell here. We didn't use any other of their services or do any shopping, but it looks like they had a good selection of products. This isn't our closest local dog store so we probably wouldn't come to just shop but I would return for the grooming services.

As soon as you walk in you can smell the very strong stench of urine and there a very common complaints that dogs get sent home with kennel cough or stinking like pee. I believe it may be due to poor ventilation. they also just have the dogs going potty inside everywhere instead of being taken outside. I saw multiple dogs peeing in the building. We did not follow through with our boarding booking. I would not recommend booking here for sanitization and health concerns for your pups. I highly recommend that you visit the location and see if it is up to your standards before bookings. I was able to find a last minute boarding service with S&B Kountry Kennel. This location had proper clean kennels and huge yards for the dogs to be let out to play. They are also staffed with great trainers.
