Alright, listen up. Captain 619 here. I usually deal in... other kinds of operations. But last…read moreweek, I had to make a trip down to the San Diego County Animal Services joint in Bonita. See, my associate was lookin' for a new four-legged "enforcer," if you catch my meaning. I'll be straight with yous--I wasn't expecting much. A government facility? I figured it'd be all bureaucracy and headaches. I was ready to make a donation and keep it moving. I wasn't even really in the market to adopt, see? But let me tell ya, these people... they're the real deal. The staff there, they're not just on the payroll--they're made. Made of the good stuff. Incredibly helpful, extremely nice, and kinder than you'd ever expect. They answered all my questions without making me feel like a palooka and they handled the whole operation with class. The facility itself is what it is. It's an older establishment, you know? They're workin' with what they got. But you don't judge a book by its cover, and you don't judge a place by its linoleum. It was clean, and that's what matters. The process, though? Smooth. Very professional. No funny business, no hidden fees. I'm attaching the price sheet they gave me--everything's on the level, very reasonable for what you're getting. They made sure the pup and I were a good fit. It felt less like a transaction and more like... an introduction to the family. So now I'm a believer. I went in skeptical, and I came out a big proponent. This place shows you the great possibilities and relationships that can be made with a future family member. We couldn't be happier with our new associate. If you're looking to expand your organization, you know where to go. Tell 'em the Captain sent you. They'll know what it means. Capisce?

She has an attitude if you want to improve, you might want to fire her to start. She doesn't want to help animals. She doesn't care if you find an animal in the street she doesn't want to assist you incredibly rude. She argued with the dispatch on the phone who was trying to help me find somewhere to get this dog. I had no way to travel all the way to Gaines Street like she was insisting I do while the dispatch had another idea that I relinquished the dog at the shelter and they would come get it, but the lady was unhappy with that. She would have me drive all the way around San Diego because she was unconsciously biased thinking that dog was actually mine, and then I was trying to relinquish it however, that was not my dog. It was a random dog. I found on the street at Alta view dr blind and walking through the road as car is barely missed it.

Fanila (I hope I'm spelling that correctly!), Elizabeth and the entire team were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my kids feel comfortable and special, taking the time to let them safely see and interact with the guinea pig, hamster, chinchilla, bunny, and even a chicken. You could tell how much they genuinely care -- not just about the animals, but about the people who walk through their doors. Thank you Magnifico, Daddy Hamster, Chichi, Chili, Dave and Grace Omali In a time where we really needed a little lightness, this meant more than I can fully express. Their compassion and warmth did not go unnoticed. Thank you again for creating such a special moment for our family. We will always remember it! Carolina, Sam, Amelia and Sammy

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!…read more I have been patient in looking to add a kitten/cat to our family and stumbled across Marigold on a fosters Instagram page which prompted me to submit an application. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.
