This place doesn't even deserve a one star. Do not purchase anything here! I walked in this shop last year and ordered a dress on July 2, 2023. For my daughters quincenera in April 2024. I placed the order for a dress and charro hat with MINERVA. I gave more than half of the $ down for the dress the day I placed the order. Fast forward to January 2024. I called and set an appt to pick up my dress and charro hat for 2/24/24 at 1 pm. Prior to this date I called twice to confirm that my order would be ready as I don't live close by and I had a scheduled photo shoot the weekend after for my daughter. The day of my appt I arrive to try it on and make sure everything is in order, the lady at the front got on the phone and tells me that she is sorry but that the dress is ready but the charro hat is not. I was upset because i had confirmed twice before my pick up date and was told everything was ready! She then proceeded to tell me to give her a half hour to iron the dress. I was livid, I came back a half hour later and tried on the dress for my daughter ( in very dim lighting). When she tried it on I noticed the corset ribbon was dirty and I brought the up to the girl and she said she would replace it ( that should of been my sign to leave). I told her i would not pay for the extra charge of the charro hat that i didn't receive, paid my balance and took the dress with me. The following day I checked the dress and noticed all the stains and rips on it. The armpit areas were pink and the dress was ripped on the inside. This DRESS WAS USED,WORN AND NOT NEW AS I HAD PAID FOR ($1,548). I called the store immediately and talked to Minerva, she was very dismissive when i mentioned that the charro hat was not received and now the dress had stain and looked used. She said, " We gave you the discount on the charro hat so lets just leave it at that". She told me to send her pictures of the stains and she would send it to the "company" that made the dress and to go ahead and use the dress i had for the photo shoot and she would get me a new dress by April 15th the latest. After a few days later I followed up with her and she said they would be getting a new dress, and it would arrive before by April 15th. I followed up with her a lot in between February and April to see if we could get it sooner since the party was fast approaching. She called me and told me that we could get it faster if I was willing to pay for the shipping. I told her if any one should pay for shipping it should be her for giving me an used dress instead of a new one. She said she wouldn't pay the shipping and that she would let me know when the new dress arrived. On April 4th she called me and wanted to set an appointment for me to pick up the dress on April 15th and i told her i could pick it up on April 18th since i work and live 2 hrs away. She seemed bother by that and told me that in that case she would not be there and that any one at the store could help me. A few minute later I called her back after making arrangements and told her i would be there April 15th instead, she proceeded to tell me that she would need to let me know later because she didn't know what time the dress would arrive on the 15th! On APRIL 15th ( 5 days before my daughters quincenera) Minerva send me a text saying that the dress still had not arrived. I responded that because i had paid full price for a dress i did not receive I would like some type of reimbursement or refund for the trouble of some kind for the dress as she breached her contract of not being able to give me a new dress that i paid for in full. Minerva called me and told me " a refund of any kind was not going to happen, I don't have the dress yet" I told her that i had been very patient and that it was not acceptable that the dress had still not arrive 5 days prior to my event. She said she would see me on court and that " THINGS WILL BE DONE THE WAY SHE SAID". I hung up on her. I never received the new dress, i never received a refund and my daughter had to wear the used stained dress ( that i had to clean myself) on her QUINCENERA. The straps on the dress also ripped off as she did the father daughter dance. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE! read more

Everyone there was kind and helpful with getting the correct size for my daughter's dress. We had put it an order with ample time and got the dress as promised. We even got the crown for purchasing the dress. Not only did I get a Quinceañera dress for my daughter at Shelsyes but we also bought the Quince robe and knife sets with the flutes that matches her theme. Minerva also helped me with other things for the Quince that I needed, she offered me other services for the party. I ended doing my floral centerpieces with Minerva. They turned out to be so beautiful! The selection of flowers and the floral arrangements were exactly as I envisioned. This is the worst place you could place your Quince dress from. I would never recommend this horrible place I went in with my husband and my daughter to look for a Quince dress the owner Minerva was there and took our order she also offered a venue and other services. Minerva gave me her cellphone number and asked if I was interested in her additional services and to take a look at the venue to give her a call and she would take me and my family to see the venue. After we decided we did not want to rent out her venue and I did call her but to ask about my daughters dress she acted like she did not know me and simply said to contact the store for help. I did call the store and a lady answered and told me she was busy and would call me back which she never did. I stopped by the store since I don't live too far and to my surprise my daughter's dresses had arrived 1 month before and no one bother to let me know. I picked up the dress and was told her bear was not ready to give her a week to pick up. I called a week later and the bear was still not ready fast forward 1 week before the event and the bear was not ready I was furious and spoke to Minerva and told her what kind of a business does this were a package the you order and thought would be ready isn't. I literally picked up the bear a day before the event. Ridiculous!!! Don't order anything from this lady she acts all nice to get your business and after she has your deposit she could care less about what happened to your order or if you're satisfied with her business. I went to this place to look for my daughter's quince dress recommended by a friend. My friend told me that this place allowed you to try on dresses. I arrived without an appointment on a Saturday and the girl who helped me told me that Saturdays were usually by appointment but she could check if she had free time before her next appointment arrived to let me try on 2 dresses. That's when another employee interrupted her and stated "only 1 dress". I didn't let this discourage me because my daughter was already in love with a dress that was on a mannequin. My daughter tried on the dress and we loved it. They told me that the price with taxes was $1,300 and I had to pay half to order it. I accepted and payed over $600 to get the order placed. Two days later they called me to tell me that they had made a mistake in the price and that price on the dress was $1,900 but that they could let me have it for $1,600. The lack of seriousness bothered me a lot and I did not agreed with the new price and returned to the boutique for my money and cancelled the order. I understand that they have to get their money too but it didn't seem professional that the original price was not honored. read more

What can I say? I was picked as the madrina of the muneca and I had no idea the detail and that I had to get the doll to match the quinceanera. I called the shop where the dress was made and they did an amazing job. The level of detail to the dress. It's a beautiful doll. She's almost as beautiful as the quinceanera. These seamstresses are talented. On top of it all they rushed my doll order (running on Mex time, I waited until 2 weeks before) and got it handled. My son participated in a quinceañera and wanted to pay for his own "tuxedo" . All of the boys were supposed to get their things 3 days before the actual event. Turns out nothing was ready. The poor girl who's party it was has to go with her mom and pick everything up, when she got there they had the wrong color shirts. So they had to wait until day before to get it all. When my son came home he showed me everything he got. It was just black slacks, a black button up shirt, suspenders, bow tie, and black dress shoes. The shoes were way too big for him, and the suspenders are damaged. I took a picture of that so we are responsible for it. His pants are short and he's a pretty tall kid. I've passed by this place quite a few times and even walked in once, that's all it took for me to never go there for anything. I'm sorry the quinceañera used this place. Owner Minerva & Monica are the absolute worst! Before we even started the process I asked them a few main questions which was if they could get the dress is done a month before the wedding because I wanted to make sure that's not anything I was stressing over, and that they could accommodate for a lot of the bridesmaids that lived far away and could only make it down on weekends. They said yes to everything. The price was decent so we figured we'd go with them. Now I find myself three weeks away from my wedding and they have yet to finish the dresses! Every week for the last month they keep saying they will be ready next week! And every time that they promised something would be done and we went in to get it it wasn't done. Mind you these are women that drove an hour plus to be there! I finally drew the line cut my losses and went elsewhere. They are just absolutely inconsiderate they never even apologized or took any responsibility! This company had a event at St. Justin Martyr church in Anaheim on 02-17-13. The staff from this place is rude. They asked for volunteers from the community to model the gowns. Allot of enthusiastic teenagers form the community gave their time for the event. Shelsyes bridal brought some supposedly professional models that started talking down to the other volunteers of the community telling them that since they did not have the experience they should never had model the gowns. This was right in front of the staff from Shelsyes bridal staff who said nothing to defend the volunteers.If that is how they like to portray themselves with the community, i'm not interested in buying gowns from them or making any kind of business with them. read more

That being said My sister's 15 is this October 12 2013 We went in to get my sisters Quince dress Aug 1st a few weeks later we went to go check on the dress as other stores warned us that the dress was not going to be ready. They were right we went in to check on it and they said they ordered the dress the 10th of September to check again in two weeks it should be ready. We went its still not ready they want me to wait two more weeks meaning to check on the 20th of September. They are not even making the dress they ordered it and they said it would take 3 weeks for the dress to get here its been almost 2 months. Other stores on fourth St Santa Ana called the company and they said that dress isn't in stock it will be available in 3 months. I confronted the owner of the store and she got rude after I told her about the dress She basically told me not to call if I'm not the one paying for the dress and she's not giving me any info about the dress and hung up. I was going to go ballistic she got lucky that I am not paying for the dress but my sister's godmother. I'm living a nightmare !!!
