There aren't a lot of thrift stores in Shelton, and Treasures is about as good as it gets. Heck, I…read morewas happy to find any thrift stores at all in such a tiny town! Treasures is on the smallish side, somewhat smaller than the typical WA Goodwill store. There's a gated "boutique" section at the front with more expensive items that are better quality and/or better condition -- although I didn't notice any designer labels or especially fancy stuff. The rest of the store is men's and women's clothing and shoes, housewares and art, and accessories. There's a sidewalk rack outside that has some fun costumey stuff, too. The store is a little run-down looking and not the cleanest, so you'll have to roll up your sleeves and hunt. But prices are reasonable and they have some good sales. The day we were there, all clothing was $1! The employees were friendly, but slow on the single register, and the line backed up quickly. Our cashier offered us a punch card, which looks like a good deal if you live in the area or plan to shop there regularly. Overall, not a bad little store and one you should check out if you happen to find yourself in Shelton.

He was rude to me and called me a bit** and told me I was causing a disturbance. i know this is against the law and when I called the police they sited with the owner whom by then was plain refusing in access to the shop. I found this so extremely unnecessary and it left me in tears. I used to love this store, loved the people and for 20 years have been a patRon. even though this is against the law the local police sited with the owner. now I will be going to the attorney general and filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau. Please don't support stores that don't support keep up with disabilities.

My husband and I bought 10 cloth diapers, 20 cotton prefolds, a onesie (25 cents, btw), and a book…read morefor $125. That's insane, y'all. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by one of the co-owners who was wearing her own baby. I'm a first time mom (22 weeks pregnant) so we've been shopping sales and watching prices to start our cloth diapering collection. NOLA had a huge collection of new cloth diaper brands to search through with tons of cute patterns and all the accessories you can think of. The co-owner politely answered every single one of my questions and kept checking on us (not in a bad way) and referred us to things she though were good. She definitely actually cared that we were successful and had good things instead of just wanting us to buy more stuff. She even showed us to their consignment section (she could smell the young and broke on us) and it was even more extensive!! She helped us look through all of the baskets and showed us the cutest colors. It was just a really wonderful experience. Overall, stores like this are really important and empowering because it's all about moms helping moms. Not just customer to business owner but a lot of their merchandise was from local moms or mom-centered businesses. This place doesn't do anything halfway!

However, I've been apart of the Ju-Ju-Be diaper community since 2011 and often buy their bags on new release date. Color me surprised when I found out a local retailer to me would be apart of the re-release of a print I missed out on! So I waited in line for 1.5 hours assuming there would be a long line - nope. I was first and only person in line . The owner was such a doll to deal with and so I was able to get exactly what I wanted while paying retail! It's a cute store so if you are in the market for natural baby items- please check them out!
