They corrected my bite problem but did not smooth the rough edges. They also did 2 fillings on my left side which caused my mouth to be sore for 10 days. I ended up paying them almost $900 dollars. I went to another dentist and he said the one filling which eventually would need a crown was mediocrely done at best and I had to pay him $500 for xrays again and to smooth the rough edges so I wasn't biting my cheek. I still need 1 crown for $1200 1 root canal for $1600, and a tooth extraction for which I don't have a cost yet. I don't have dental insurance; I'm living off social security, and I'm 81 years old. So far I have spent $1400 and need to spend another possibly $3500 which I cannot afford.

I went to this office on Dec 20th for a cleaning. I had a filling done previously and thought the…read morework was excellent (5 . it was my 1st cleaning with them and the women that did the pictures and scans explained it all like I was 10. After the pictures, she displayed the teeth and pointed out 3 possibly 4 teeth that had some deep pockets. I have had this before and a normal cleaning resolved it. in this case I was told I needed a "deep cleaning" with numbing and it needed 2 visits. I was told my share was $500+ (total was $1000+)). Also, there were 4 follow-up visits at $81 that my ins. would not cover. I asked if I could just get a regular cleaning and was told no. Then she explained in another example of me being 10 that they knew best and if I was not interested in my health there was nothing they could do. I admit to being inappropriate with my frustration as I left but I felt like I was bait and switched. Never told that this expensive procedure was a possibility. Finally, today I received a letter telling me that this office could no longer provide dental care. Just a tale to point out that asking questions in an office that needs to pay for all the toys would be prudent.

The receptionist was super friendly and patient. The entire office was spotless- something that puts your mind at ease when they're working in your mouth. All of them seem to take a lot of pride in their work and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I believe in conservative dentistry which means not doing any procedures which are not absolutely necessary. I broke a portion of a tooth with a large filling which would easily qualify for a crown with a hefty $400 copayment. Dr Robinson decided an additional filling would be the best treatment. I avoided a crown which essentially destroys the tooth. As someone who has their share of large fillings and crowns, I highly recommend this office.

You could walk in with one cavity and leave with 3 teeth drilled in, one unfinished root canal, and $37,000 less in your pocket. They charge $50 if you cancel or reschedule an appointment. They say you have to give them a 48 hour notice for any cancellation or reschedule, but only if it falls under their business hours. You could try and try to get the times right, but it will ultimately be useless. You will get your $50 taken away, and it will be all because of their poor explanation of their business hours. Never in my 16 years of being alive have I ever seen a dentist office with such an awful business model. They treat everyone like the worst people in the world. There's no class or decorum when you walk into Modern Smile. Just know this; They will do everything possible to take your money. They will lie and claim you have all of these issues with your teeth, but if you walk into another dentist office, they'll say you're perfectly fine. Modern Smile completely ruined my teeth and I will never forgive them for the things they have done. This office is a nightmare. Do not under any circumstances go here. Do not give them your time and your money. It won't be worth it in the endgame. By the time you realize that they're causing more harm than good, it will be far too late. I am forced to find a dentist for my family that is outside of where we live because of how unfair they are treating my family. Do not go Here!
