    Puppy treats!

When I moved, I discovered this animal clinic was within minutes of our house. I went in one afternoon without my dog, and the staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. They made it easy for me to transfer my dogs records, and set up an appointment. When I came back with my pup, they were very accommodating - putting us in a room while we waited. The vet here is so nice, and he takes the time to explain procedures, vaccinations and options. My dog experiences anxiety when we visit the vet, and barks a lot. Staff took him in the back so I could have a conversation without distraction, which was very helpful! Have been back to purchase medication, and every time I'm there it's such a breeze! Im so glad to have this place within such close proximity, and would highly recommend this animal clinic to others :-)

I love Dr. Leinen and his wonderful staff. I called the office because my dog was limping. Amber was able to fit my dog in the same day. When we arrived my dog (an American Pitbull Terrier) was filled with anxiety. The staff was so kind and tried their best to soothe him. Buzz is a big boy and to see them be so gentle with him made me feel so good. The Vet tech gave him a treat and kept telling Buzz he will be fine. I found out my dog may have injured a ligament. Dr. Leinen sat with me to explain all options and future possibilities with the injury. I left feeling so relieved and Buzz is now on medication for discomfort. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHENANDOAH ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

Nice vet's office. We have brought our dog here since she was a pup and Dr. Leinen has always done a good job of getting her squared up. They have always been good about telling you what the problems could be and then what they think the problem is based on their experience and what test results have yielded. They are going through a remodel and have limited space at the moment, but should be back to the full office soon. The staff here have always been pretty nice and great with all the animals that come through for visits or check ups.

Customer service was good. But I feel like they need to care more about the animals. They don't give very good and true feedback.

My pup comes home absolutely knackered from a day full of fun with his fur buddies. The staff bend over backward to make sure my pup is happy and taken care of. We also have used the private spa service and boarding which allowed us to see our boy via webcam to check in. I've seen both Dr. Kuchar and Dr. Pion as vets and couldn't recommend anyone better. Both of these vets take the time to talk, get to know you and the dog. From supporting me through my former dog going blind and eventually passing away, to now routine check ups with my new pup, both doctors have always impressed me and exceeded my expectations. The vets techs and receptionists as well are friendly, knowledgeable and just straight up love animals. Might be on the pricier side but come to Country Inn as your one stop shop for all things animal hospital or daycare/boarding. You won't regret it

The second time, nothing was further than the truth. it took him almost 10 days to get reacclimated, came back in a depressed state, growled when I touched it or picked him up, I've never seen anything quite liked yet since I owned him for five years. The staff seems friendly enough and the facilities clean. I just don't know what happened with this last time, I'm probably going to look into Rover or a similar service.

Please be cautious when considering Royalty Pets Boarding…read more When I first met Kris, he assured me that my dog would have full access to their home and sleep on her dog bed in his bedroom. I was relieved and happy to hear this, especially as someone who treats their dog like family. However, I had immediate concerns about how the dogs were let outside, as the backyard has no fence and backs up to a lake. The house itself appeared spotless and quiet, which gave me initial comfort. I believe I used their services four times in total. Each time I dropped off my dog, Kris would quickly take her into the house on a leash. I never once saw his wife, kids, or any other dogs during pick-up or drop-off--which I found unusual. When I picked her up, she was always leashed and brought directly to the front door. The first few times, I noticed faint yellow stains on her underside. My dog has pure white fur and has never had staining issues before. But after leaving her with them in July 2025, she came home completely covered in yellow stains--on her legs, belly, bottom, and tail. I bathed her immediately, but the stains wouldn't come out. It was clear she had been sitting in urine for a long time. I texted Kris right away, and he claimed it could have been grass stains. That was absolutely not the case. I now believe my dog was confined in a converted garage space--likely in a crate or small enclosure--and left sitting on soiled pee pads for days. My dog has never been caged before. She's trained to go to the bathroom outside, and this experience was traumatic for both of us. A neighbor who lives a few doors down even told me they've never seen Kris walking a dog, which only confirmed my fears. I wish I had trusted my instincts after the first few visits. My family and friends were heartbroken when they saw the pictures of her condition. I will be attaching those photos for reference. We will never use Royalty Pets again and cannot in good conscience recommend them. Please don't be fooled by their friendly communication, text updates, or staged photos of dogs in front of the same setup. I'm now certain my dog never spent any real time inside their spotless home. We feel deceived and devastated that our beloved dog was left in such filthy conditions. In response to the owner's comment: It's interesting that only after I left an honest review, he's now making up false claims to cover himself. I have multiple texts from him during my dog's stay saying things like, "Your dog is doing great, she's happy and comfortable with no issues." If you care about your dog's well-being, I strongly recommend asking for a full house tour--including the garage, which is likely filled with crates where the dogs are kept. How is it acceptable to crate a dog for seven days on urine-soaked pads that stain their fur? My dog is fully potty trained and incredibly sweet. There is simply no justification for the condition she was returned in.
