Beautiful campground Laundry room was clean It was a rainy weekend but the kids enjoyed playing on the playground when it wasn't raining It's a small playground but enough for our little ones The wifi worked fine There are some toys in the shop for kids to play with on rainy days The owner makes custom tumblers; I bought two, one of which she made custom for me. They are all beautiful! We would've stayed longer but the following weekend was fully booked so we are on the road again read more

Went camping with a group of friends and was able to get a last minute reservation at this location and it had the most beautiful view! We went tent camping. It was extremely easy to get to, gas stations and mini markets were about 20-30 minutes out. They have a small store on property with basic essentials. Picnic tables/water/rest rooms/showers/fire pit provided on property. read more

We where told that they had no room at the campsite. When we got there a lot of campsites where empty. So I said to my wife. What was the problem. Picking are own site. I find the owner very abrupt and not welcoming. The noise from Interstate 81 is loud. Better wear ear buds or noise canceling headphones. I will not comeback. $$$$. read more

We've stayed here twice now and have no real complaints. It's easy access from the interstate. The sites can be a bit difficult to level your rig but if you've camped long enough with a rig you won't have an issue. the interstate is VERY close and you get highway noise all the time. But for a one niter it's worth hearing for the convenience to the interstate. Hookups are easy and water pressure is really good. Cable TV is pretty much basic and can be fickle with the reception but it's ok. Price is fair and reasonable. We will be staying here again. But we will definitely reserve at least a month ahead or so. This place does fill up fast. read more

We love this place! The cabins were super clean. Free wifi. The guest services building also had a gift shop and indoor mini-restaurant. The staff were superb. The week we went, we were the only ones so we had the whole campground to ourselves. Hahaha, we love it. Their community campfire is centrally located. There are swings hanging from the gazebo where the community firepit is located in the middle. This campground was in the OPEN, meaning, we were expecting trees and lots of greenery but there were none around. We felt a little bit exposed because when we think of camping, we think of lots of trees and privacy etc. But that didnt matter much after the first 5 minutes...we were ok (hence my rating). Their bathhouse, OMG is super clean and well-kept. They even have a family bathroom/house, we used this often. They are conveniently located next to the American Float Parade museum, the Shenandoah Caverns and other attractions. We will be coming back here again. read more

FANTASTIC place to stay. Intended to camp in Shenandoah Nat'l Park but it was full, and luckily this campground was willing to let us in late in the night. WiFi, clean bathrooms with showers, electrical hookup, dish sink, nice views of the valley and EXTREMELY pleasant staff made this a perfect choice. Very nice, clean, well kept RV Campground. Close to I-80 easy on/ off. Just stayed the one night. Staff was friendly, dog walk area was well kept. The RV sites are gravel and were really pretty level. There weren't any restaurants close by, have to drive to the nearest towns. read more

Stayed here Labor Day weekend and had a great time. Everyone in the office is nice and super helpful. They also had some events going on all weekend that all the campers could participate in. Such as corn hole toss, live music, painting, pig roast, and more. The campground stayed clean all weekend and the bathrooms kept clean too. Everyone was respectful of quiet time. They also provided information on nearby grocery stores and nearby places to visit and much much more. It helped us so much. We stayed in a cabin and it was awesome. 4 places to sleep, had a tv with cable, free WiFi, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. They also provided a grill in the back. We chose to stay here because of a recommendation from a family member who also went to visit the caverns. There's also close hiking paths- we did the one in the mountains. We had a great experience and recommend this place to everyone! It was cheaper than staying at any nearby hotels during the weekend so that's a plus. read more

I was looking for a campground that would be convenient for people from Northern Va, Southwestern, Va and Western Md and I was looking in the Luray area. It was also important that they would accept a breed of dog that is frequently not allowed and could accommodate a surprise party for my husband (about 20 people, incl children). I found this campground on my RVParky App and it fit the bill. I reserved 2 cabins and an RV spot for those staying and reserved the pavilion for the day. The reservations went smoothly and all accommodations were great. The cabins were clean and neat as well as the restrooms. We had kids with us from 18 mos thru 18 yrs and we were most pleased with the amenities for them: basketball hoop, playground, pool, cornhole, net for volleyball, mini golf, tetherball and even a movie in the pavilion on Sat night. They lit a fire at the community fire pit for marshmallows and s'mores. The party went off without a hitch and was a great surprise. Everyone enjoyed! Can't thank the campground folks enough for being flexible and accommodating. The campground is fairly new and relatively small and cozy. It is near I-81 but it did not bother us. Highly recommend! read more

When we arrived, there was no one there, even though we were expected and it was during posted business hours. The office was locked and it was nighttime. No note, nothing. Other campers helped us find a spot. It turned out though, that an employee left when they were not supposed to. The owner called and sincerely apologized to us and above and beyond to make things right. This is a well kept park with very good amenities. The excellent customer service shows that they really care about their guests. It's not whether a problem occurs, as problems can happen anywhere. It's all about how you respond. The management here responded admirably. read more

Great campground - fresh and new facilities, beautiful grounds and friendly, helpful staff. The bathrooms and showers are impeccably clean. The RV sites are large and well arranged so even without many trees we didn't feel lacking of privacy. Of course the location to many attractions is an added bonus. The only detraction is the sound of Interstate 81 near by, but even that quiets down a bit at night. We will be back on our next trip. read more

We stayed here overnight on our way up from Tennessee. This place was wonderful. The owners are really trying their best to make this campground not just a stop over. On Saturday night there was a movie and a popcorn machine for the kids. The cafe food was great. The pool was nice size and very clean. Our site was a pull through with a lot of room. The owners are very, very nice people. We will definitely be back next year! read more
