We purchased a home in Mountain Falls about six months ago, in part because amenities like the Grill Room seemed like they would become a regular part of our lifestyle here. Unfortunately, our experiences have been consistently disappointing. We have eaten here four times. The only genuinely positive service experience we had was when we sat at the bar. The other three visits, when dining with our kids, involved long waits to be seated and then extended periods sitting at the table without any service or acknowledgment. Our most recent experience was especially frustrating. We brought friends who were considering purchasing a home in Mountain Falls and wanted to introduce them to the community over lunch. We stood at the entrance of a half-empty restaurant for roughly five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. When someone finally did, we were simply told they were "behind" and that we would "have to wait awhile." There was no estimate, no effort to make us comfortable, and no attempt to improve the experience by seating us at one of the many empty tables so we could at least look over the menus and order drinks while they caught up. We waited another 15 minutes without any additional acknowledgment before deciding to leave and go elsewhere. The unfortunate part is that this place has real potential. The location, views, and atmosphere could easily make it a destination spot for people coming through Pahrump or for residents looking to entertain guests. But mediocre food can only survive if the service is excellent. Right now, the combination of mediocre food and consistently poor service makes it difficult to justify returning. I genuinely hope management turns it around because this restaurant could be far better than what it currently delivers. read more

The breakfast was good, and the biscuit was tender and gravy was a little to spicy for me, but good too. Out waitress was an older black woman. She was extremely slow, and had a lot of difficulty walking. She almost dumped someone's meal. They need to give her a different job, with less walking that doesn't involve carrying heavy plates with food. It took 2 hours to eat, service was very slow. read more

It's very peaceful here at the golf course. You can see mountains in the distance, fountains, and beautiful flowers everywhere. It's a bit chilly, but honestly not bad at all. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and people dine here in a very relaxed, easy-going way. It has that quiet, small-town calm that feels so different from Vegas. I spent half a day here reading and enjoying the view -- it was truly lovely. read more

I was in the town and had to try the Mountain Falls Grill since it was recommended by local friend. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. It seemed like they were very short in staff. After we're seated I did see nice view from where I was seating. Although I don't golf seeing golf course with water fountain upfront when your having brunch was nice. I ordered Cuban sandwich with onion ring to be safe. My husband ordered prime steak and my friend ordered an salad. It was around 13:30 and I waited over 30 minutes for my food. Service was good but although not many customers since there was only one waiter. It was hard to get our food fast. Now I'm thinking maybe in the kitchen was also short in staff too. At the end we asked for our receipt, make sure you read it. If you pay with credit card they charge you 3%. Good thing I had cash on me. Sandwich was 6/10 for me. So keep that in mind! read more

Food is always good, service is good but it seems help with more servers is needed. The Ambiance was better in the past, it's pretty thrown together, bar had more Ambiance. I like sitting outside, seem like more effort would be used for the paying customers to enjoy spending time outside whatever the weathers like. read more

This is now one of the two $5, $10, $15 restaurants in the Pahrump area, no longer "the Grill Room"!!! In no way does it compare to the restaurant from when we moved to Mountain Falls in 2015. At that time the restaurant always rated between 4 and 5 stars., It would have been very rare to ever need to send something back to the kitchen. Now I feel lucky if 1of our 4 orders doesn't have to go back for some reason. Mountain Falls deserves to have a fine dining type of restaurant not diner-type food. There is such a nice dining room and bar area, plus a beautiful view of the golf course. Someone in upper management needs to take a good look at what they have, AND what they are throwing away! I was very disappointed. We were taking our friends to dinner for helping us. I wanted something nice. We had a reservation and sat their at the check in for 15 minutes waiting for someone to at least greet us. When we did finally get seated. 2 of our party ordered prime rib, one ordered New York Steak and one ordered fish and chips. The food was cold on all of our plates. I had the baked potatoe and it was hard, the cheese and the butter would not melt. I highly doubt we will ever return. Which is very said because it is a pretty view. read more

We just had dinner at the Grill Room and I can't say enough about service and food. 5 adults 1 child and everyone's dinner was delicious from the burger, Philly Cheese Steak, fried fish, Mac and cheese and lobster ravioli (or rigatoni?). We both had the prime rib dinner with 2 sides. I had the mashed potatoes and veggie and my husband had the mac and cheese and veggie. All was good esp. the mac and cheese. What was even better was the price! We had 3 drinks, dinner and dessert for around $75. Went to Mountain Falls Grill with a friend yesterday, and we had a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. My friend ordered the black and blue steak salad, while I opted for a refreshing side salad and the mouthwatering Irish potato chips. These fresh made chips were a homemade delight topped with nacho cheese, chicken, bacon, green onions, and accompanied by a side of sour cream. The chips were delightfully crispy and light. To conclude our meal, I savored a slice of cheesecake drizzled with chocolate syrup, while my friend indulged in the decadent chocolate cake. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mountain Falls Grill and still continue to support this establishment! We went there last nite to have dinner. Well I ordered a pastrami and wife ordered a hamburger. Both of us had sweet potato fries.Well first I noticed that the fries were way over done and the hamburger was something out of a Horror movie looking like an alien burger very dry over done and as for the pastrami it was also way over done and couldn't eat the other half too tuff to chew so I guess we will not be going back anytime soon. Let me start with the ambiance and the outdoor seating. What a amazing view of the golf course and the lake is just magnificent. The greenery and the trees makes your experience surreal, to just relax and enjoy, without paying extra just for the view. The menu is simple and plenty of choices. I like that it's very convenient as I live in the Mountain Falls development. However, this establishment doesn't hold a candle to the restaurant I used to visit often from 2009 until about 2012. The staff is very friendly but not efficient; every order I've ever placed came to the table with something incorrect or missing. I would have to ask several times just to get my coffee refilled. I think they need more staff. The food is mediocre at best. The ambience is fair, but the dining room is quite small and one can't help but hear what's being said at the other nearby tables. Mountain Falls grill room has a variety of breakfast items all of which looks like big portions. I was here for the Eggs Benedict only. I repeat MY REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE EGGS BENEDICT. The waitress, Natalie, was very cordial a little slow. Not in the brain way but she didn't use her time wisely and liked to chat. I have a "top ten" list for Benedicts. This is how I rate them. My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price #1 - taste: they have an option of hash browns or breakfast potatoes. I chose hash browns . I asked for soft poached eggs and was presented with 1 poached hard and the other medium. The hollandaise sauce was cold. I had to send the whole order back. When I received the replacement benedicts they were properly cooked although the hollandaise sauce was only warm. The reason I review Eggs Benedict is because of the difference in the flavor of the Hollandaise sauce. This sauce was tasty but had a bite to it. Like it had a little bit too much lemon juice. Their hash browns were shredded and cooked perfectly. #2 -presentation : The presentation was good. #3-price: $15.00 price is a reasonable price for Benedicts with hash browns. Coffee was free. Not sure why. This review is for the Eggs Benedict only. The Bennys were OK but not good enough for my top ten. You can give them a try and see what you think. read more

I order the fish and chips on Friday 12/06/24 Let me say that my Husband and I were very dissapoited. The cod had too much batter on it, the fish was extremely greasy just awful.The French fries were not fresh . We had onion rings the same. I'm not sorry to say I will never eat there again. We have lived in the MF community for three years and really enjoyed going over to the Grill Room for dinner. However, it's really gone downhill. We always enjoyed the patio but the pigeon poop on the chair seats, tables and ground is disgusting. Last two times we ate there it hasn't been cleaned. How are we supposed to sit in the seats with pigeon poop on them ??? Tonight we went outside and there were sugar packets all over the ground around the tables. Again the pigeon poop was on chair seats and table. The waitress just stood there. We opted to eat inside. Too bad it was beautiful weather outside. About six months ago my husband ordered the nachos and the waitress immediately said she didn't recommend it. It's not that good. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE SOMETHING ON A MENU THAT YOUR WAITRESS DOES NOT RECOMMEND??? Tonight I ordered the shrimp fettuccine and my husband ordered the chicken Caesar salad. ALWAYS on the $5-10-15 menu the entree includes salad and a beverage. My husband could barely cut into his chicken it was so overcooked. Upon receiving the bill they charged $2.50 for my salad. The waitress never asked if I wanted a salad. The only thing she said was "what dressing would you like on your salad?" Also no refill on my husband's Diet Coke during dinner. Then she claims they've been charging $2.50 fie the salad for a year. That's a flat out lie having eaten there a few times in a tear with no charge on the salad. We walked out pretty upset with service and cleanliness of the restaurant. Ever since they added the gaming it hasn't been the same. You will NEVER see management at this facility. First, please ask for Natalie as your server during the week. She is the absolute best! Mel in the bar area is amazing as well. The food is good and is always hot and fresh. Salads are super and their burgers are very good. I've not eaten there at dinner but breakfast and lunch is always spot on. I wish during breakfast they would could their hash browns to order however. You can tell they just warm them up when they get an order. Same with the bacon. I absolutely love a place with great views! The views here are stunning, especially at sunset. Weather permitting - I'd try to get a table outside. Or at the very least, by a window. We had a large group when we went, and the restaurant does very well at accommodating larger parties. Drink order came out almost immediately, and although the food took a little while longer, the ambiance is great for chatting with your friends. Even in the bar it's fairly quiet! Our server was excellent, he didn't forget anything or get any orders wrong/mixed up. And that's hard for a party of 10!!! Since we were there with some local friends, we were able to order off the "club menu". If you sign up for a club card, you get to order off of a special menu with very reasonable prices. And the club card is for you & one other, so although I'm not a Pahrump local - I still got to get in on the good deal!! All the food was good. Everyone in our party of 10 enjoyed their meal. Nothing special or spectacular on their menu, it's your normal American pub food. But all of it is solid, well cooked, good portions, and nothing to complain about! Great food clean environment you can sit at a table and look out at the golf course very beautiful or you can go in the other room and sit at the bar. They have a few machines so you can gamble if you like or there's also seating in the bar area and it is all non-smoking.
