There are a lot of opportunities for community at New Valley. We have regular women and men's events, as well as a robust children's and youth ministries. I personally have enjoyed attending our women's retreat and spring fling. I have made my closest friends through serving at the church and being part of my gospel community group. We believe that a truly Christ-like response would prioritize grace, empathy, and seeking to understand, especially when dealing with families and children. They have no family bathroom so he took her to the womens to avoid her seeing something she shouldn't at the urinals in the mens. As soon as he walked out he was being point at by the staff and then in service we were being pointed at and talked about. Then in the middle of service Mike Shamburg approached my husband and says "Take her to the mens next time" my husband said no she is a little girl and doesn't belong in the mens room. We tried to discuss this with them and were just laughed at by Mike. This was our first and obviously last sunday there. This church is horrible. Its also so hot in there you will be miserable. My entire family including my 8 month old were drenched in sweat. And it's definitely not non denominational. More Pentecostal than anything
