Kevin came and introduced himself and explained what he would be doing. It didn't take to long , and he told me where the nests were and many facts about these carpenter bees we have. Bed bugs are the worst. THE WORST. What's worse than realizing you have bed bugs? The preparation that goes into getting rid of them. So imagine my horror when my landlord had cancelled my appointment a day before without any warning to me. Turns out she had just gone to Shepp instead and I was able to keep my original appointment--woohoo! It turns out I had a very good situation because nothing had spread beyond my bedroom. My technician was John and he was very helpful. We gave me a run down of the process and helped put my bed back together after he treated everything. I have gone all summer With no spiders , no weird bugs not even an ant. I had to kill a spider every morning just to take a shower before Mark came. I recommend this place to anyone. they have been so nice and easy to work with and their service is effective. Also I had a huge Spider show its self on my back deck 2 nights ago first one I have seen in months, called Shepp Pest Control this morning and they are coming tomorrow to evict that sucker so we can take my dog outback again. Let's be clear about one thing, getting your home treated for bed bugs is a terrible experience. The people at Shepp know this and really work hard to make it as easy as they can. I used them for my second go-around with bed bugs and of course I was stressed out and not happy when I initially called them. They were more than accommodating, answered all of my questions no matter how ridiculous they were, and were very responsive. Someone was at my apartment the following day at a time that worked with my schedule. Mark was very professional and very nice. He listened to all of my concerns and gave me a detailed description of the product he was using and why he preferred it over others. It's a long lasting product, meaning they normally do not need to keep coming back (which is the worst part). As it turned out, the situation at my building was a lot more complicated than we had originally thought and multiple units needed treating. The building management staff was not attentive, but Shepp worked with us! They put up with our constant scheduling changes and unclear communications. They were still reachable after regular business hours and were always responsive even though our situation was complicated. We eventually found a date that worked for all of us and Daryl was very personable and professional. If you ever find yourself in this situation (which I hope you don't) I would definitely recommend them over Orkin, who I used the first time. read more

John came by last month and gave our house a thorough treatment for our carpenter ant problem. What was most helpful was his 'what happens next' explanation. My backyard had become the nesting grounds for Cicada Killer Wasps. Probably one of the most intimidating bugs I have ever seen. Imagine relaxing in your backyard after a hard day's work when this pterodactyl like creature comes swooping down towards your head! I called Shepp and they came out immediately to take care of the issue. After a week or so I still saw a few flying around- Shepp returned to finish the rest of them off! Mark came on time, he performed the inspection and determined that problem was minimal and only limited to one bedroom. He assured us that treatment was effective enough to take care of problem. After first few weeks of treatment when we continued to have concerns regarding treatment efficacy, we called his office and that's when we faced our nightmare. His office staff was very rude, told us to wait everytime we called week after week. We were never able to talk to Mike to see if he will come back to check again. We were always given the run around and finally we were told after multiple calls that we will have to pay again for Mark to come out and possibly treat again. We were never given appropriate response or reasoning to why we can't talk to Mark, it appeared he was never accessible for his customers to address their concerns despite his and his company's claims of friendly, customer oriented business looking forward to work with his customers which was never the case read more
