Not the best experience which really sucks because I've tour this space a few times and it always has looked pristine. One of the pillows on the bed was like little pebbles and had ripped sheets needless to say that pillow instantly went to the closet. My friend and I ordered room service to just have a chill girls night "girls dinner" we wanted to pour the soda into glasses that are provided in the room but as you can see in the image they were very dirty not only to the look but touch. The food considering the price was just ok. Do not order the spinach artichoke dip it is not very good at all had a funky taste. The size of the cheese curd order is insane considering the price you get so few and it's served with like a mayo which is odd. The flatbread was ok a bit heavy on the onion and we had one random tomato like was that supposed to be on there. Finally the Philly wrap- now the wrap was actually very good the fries were okay but disappointed because they were advertised as garlic aioli fries... it was all just kind of a disappointment for our little movie and room service girls night we have from time to time to just get away without getting away. Updated review. Previous review reported significant safety and security issues. They all seemed to have been resolved. Extra complements to extraordinarily friendly staff. We came to stay here for the weekend when visiting my brother in New Berlin Friday & Saturday nights the 22/23 of November. They have phone room key digital access which is nice. This place is close to the airport and a ton of other stuff. So location is awesome. Onto the room and amenities. I called down to front desk to ask where I could get ice for the room, front desk guy said at other end of hall, past room # whatever, that's not important, I get to the ice machine and it's got an out of order sign. Now if it's out of order, that's inconvenient, but it is what it is, but at least don't let me walk down there looking for it if it's broke. I then go to get in the shower and a few minutes in notice there's no body wash, c'mon. I walk down to front desk, buddy says he'll have housekeeping bring us one, didn't happen, had to go down again a 2nd time to ask. Finally housecleaning comes, still doesn't change the body wash inside the shower. I literally had to go to the Walgreens down the street to get my own body wash, beyond ludicrous. There's also been the same dirty plates, towels, etc. outside peoples doors since yesterday afternoon, this place is a rundown shanti, with zero pride from the people running it or working here, it should be embarrassing for them. Stayed here while my home was being renovated. Booked without seeing Yelp reviews first, which I deeply regret. It was on the pricier side vs other hotels in the area, likely because of the two pools, gym, free parking and other amenities. Honestly the hotel is old and dirty with some modern finishes thrown on top, but the flaws are very visible. I wouldn't recommend this place. You can get same quality for lower price else where. read more

Very good choice for a conference, the manager addressed our group, they made some reasonable exceptions and extensions to the discounted rooms, the catering for events and the meeting rooms were very good. As is always the case, the meeting rooms were too cold, all hotels think it's 1984 and men in suits are the only ones in conferences. In fact, the only two men in suits were comfortable. Good location right off 94, walk across the parking lot (big parking lot) for one of the few still popular shopping malls with some good fast food choices. What I really liked most is that at first not enough of us signed up for the meeting hotel meals (I think hotels count on good attendance for internally catered meals) so they reached out to us, and we came close to selling all seats as a result. Good communication. What wasn't as good was the value of the catered meals, the breakfast and lunch were at the level of the free breakfast at a lot of motels, and the lunch was at the level of maybe a Jimmy Johns or Quiznos, there wasn't enough coffee (conferences require caffeine all day long). The rooms were ample, but the seats and tables were set up by very thin people, us more average sized Americans had to squeeze in and out. Stayed at the Sheraton for a retreat where we used one of their conference rooms. They have renovated since last year and the property was very clean, bright and up to date. The rooms are what you expect from a good hotel, clean, neat and up to date tv, lights and plenty of charging outlets. The only thing that was not up to par was that the water pressure in the bathtub/shower was really really weak. To fill the tub halfway to give my kids a bath took way to long. The staff was extremely attentive always locking up and opening the conference room promptly upon request. They also were very attentive whenever we needed more water and even provided condiments without our requesting them as they saw we had food. The dining area for breakfast was really clean and well kept. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with it being slightly better than average. Location is great as it's directly next to a mall and there are plenty eating options in the area. The parking lot is a little tight but there was ample parking. One of the best perks about the hotel was how warm the swimming pool was. Having to swim with the kids, having a nice warm pool was such a luxury, made it so much more enjoyable than when pools are not that warm. read more

Hotel was clean and looked nice. Rooms were fine, nice updated technology. As others mentioned the shower was on the weak side. Also the bathroom is tiny. The biggest issue is the absurdity of trying to charge 14.99 for a premade breakfast buffet that is the same as you would get any most other hotels for free. For the price of the room I would expect the same amenities as other hotels. Front desk was to the business not very welcoming. But the rooms were fine and I guess that what you are there for. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. my room had an ac system that sounded like a baby elephant was sounding off at an unpredictable time of every three to ten seconds. the hotel will charge you $50 to check in early, even if your room is ready. the "market" next to the lobby that sells goods doesn't sell tampons or pads--nor do any of the hotel bathrooms offer or sell them. It's ridiculous that the hotel has coffee in every room, but no access to female period products on site. And $50 to check in early if the room is ready?! Bananas! read more

After 15 kids swam this morning, the pool turned cloudy and dirty. I asked the front desk to have it treated--no one wants to swim in that. No bathroom breaks were seen by kids swimming all morning. Two hours later, they claimed someone added chemicals, but no one showed as I've been here the whole time. Even if they did, why is It still filthy and unskimmed. Gross. read more

Horrible hotel and worthless management. My hallway was at the end of the building, the elevator barely made it up to the 4th floor. Housekeepers were in the hallway laughing and watching videos on their phones. After they left, the hallway had bottle caps, Q tips, a wad of hair and (I think) dog waste. I alerted the manager Alex, no response of course. I went to the gym in the afternoon, and on the first floor were more housekeepers laughing and talking, and reeking of marijuana. Avoid this poorly run dump and it's rotten management. read more

I was severely disappointed in this hotel, upon arrival I even went to the front desk and asked if I could cancel but because I paid in full I had to stay for forfeit my money. The photos look nice but it's all glamor, the hotel has been "updated" but not maintained. There was garbage sludge by the parking lot door that leads to the elevators and an over flowing can for the duration of our stay which was 3 nights. There were dirty linens in the halls from 11am until about 8pm when we came back the night before we left and blood on the floor in front of the elevator for two days prior to us leaving along with an old glass of wine on the 4th floor. The a/c units that are in the ice area have no cover on them so it's just exposed wires and build up. In the room our toilet needed to be flushed twice or the thin toilet paper wouldn't go down and the tub was pooling the whole time so it needs to be serviced as well. The beds are on a platform that had metal sticking out so you could hit your shin and when you sit on one of the beds it would start to tip. The a/c was either on, very loud and freezing or it would turn off and you would start sweating within 10 minutes. The reviews on TripAdvisor are great but if you check yelp you'll see the truth which I unfortunately didn't see until it was too late. read more

We were very disappointed with our stay here, and very uncomfortable with the bathroom situation. Before we got our room, the lady at the front desk mentioned something about only having one room available with the bed size we requested and vaguely mentioned that it had a handicapped shower. We thought this just meant there were special handles on the shower walls, but it more meant that the whole bathroom floor was a shower and the toilet was basically in the shower. The floor was also dirty and it made it too uncomfortable to shower. If we knew this was the case, we would've gotten any other room. We had already unpacked by the time we realized this though. However, the bed was very comfortable and soft and the room area itself was decent, but was a bit outdated and in need of repair around the end of the carpet that met the restroom. The front desk manager is a bald headed bold face liar. Don't believe anything he says -- get it in writing. I wanted a refund on the Club lounge because the food is garbage. He say he told me I couldn't get a refund when he charged me a rate of $40. He started stuttering with rapid eye movement thinking of a lie Why lie dude? If he was my manager, I would record everything coming out of his lying mouth. His minion, an older Asian lady covered for his lie. I told her I wanted a refund she stated I had to wait until I checked out then totally changed her stance once I asked for him at that moment. She said I would have to talk to the manager once I checked out. She never said it was non refundable until he came to the desk. She should've stood on what she originally stated to me. Some people shouldn't be in customer service. These two bold face liars are prime examples of why customer service is nonexistent in the hospitality field. Furthermore, when I arrived, I didn't have toilet paper or tissue paper in the bathroom. No trash cans in the room. Once I called the front desk it took 4 calls to get any results. Even Hannah(Front desk rep) was calling housekeeping and checking for followup. I was then brought 3 trash bins. I put one in the hallway at 5 am the next morning as I was leaving my room, upon returning at 3:30 pm, the trash can was still in the hallway. No pride in their work is evident at this hotel. Manager Omar is great, Staff is great! Hotel has major issues & needs to fix them & not continue to let this hotel sink. Water pressure was next to none, literally. Air conditioners are old & not working properly. Management & staff are stretched so far that they look like they are about to break. It's hard to be upset about something that is beyond their control. Consiuer level never got refilled with drinks or snacks the entire 4 days we were there. Quiet hotel but could use more cleaning. The room was nice and quiet and the A/C worked. Visually, it's evident the hotel has had a recent facelift inside. Very nice feel there. The layout is very odd, almost like a maze from the front desk to the elevator for the rooms. The elevator didn't have a last inspection sign nor a place to see one... It sounded like you could get stuck anytime now between floors. There was used body lotion on the sink counter and the cups left out by the champagne holder were filthy... Evidently not changed since the last person. Broken keypad access near the parking lot meant a scavenger hunt in the evening to find a door to get in without having to go around to the front desk from the parking lot. The saving grace? Friendly staff, updated decor in the rooms and common grounds, and close to where we wanted to go. Bed was also comfy. read more

I think this hotel is going through a renovation. This isn't a bad thing, but as of this writing, it is definitely a thing. Currently there's a small lobby and a small bar / restaurant in the main building. If you want to walk to your room then you will walk down a hallway, past an inside and outside pool (I didn't get to use them, but they looked fun) and then to another building where your room is. I'm not sure if it's the most convenient or practical, but it is what is. Our room was a bit plain, but perfectly acceptable. Nice carpet, super comfy beds and pillows, a modern flat screen tv with a good variety of cable channels and most importantly it was quite clean. There were a good number of electric outlets as well, which was nice because we were travelling and we brought all of our electronics with us. There were some small things... we ended up in a handicapped room (thank you hotwire.com,) which isn't the worst, but since it's a renovated room in an older building, there wasn't a tub or even a walk in shower. The whole bathroom was pretty much converted into a shower with a curtain on a drawstring. I'm noting this because if there was anything on the floor, i.e. towels, change of clothes, etc..., then it was sopping wet by the time you finished your business. Also, our air conditioner / heater was broken. Thankfully the weather was perfect so it wasn't a huge issue and the staff moved quickly to fix it when we they were notified. To close, this is an a-ok hotel that I feel good about recommending for the right reasons. I would definitely return if the price was right. read more

We stayed here for a quick overnight getaway and the cleanliness of our room was awful. We came in to start cleaning and spraying down the room with disinfectant spray and we were so disappointed to find blood stains on our comforter. We had to call twice before someone came up to replace the sheets and between the front desk staff and the housekeeping that came in to replace the sheets, no one offered up an apology or seemed to be alarmed. There were also strands of hair on our towels and stains on our bathroom wall. This is a newly remodeled hotel with lots of upgraded amenities and features so it was a shame to see such a lack of detail to basic cleaning and maintenance. I'm giving it 2 stars because it was really quiet and secluded. The server we had at breakfast was amazing. Crystal was the morning staff and when we checked out, she asked how our stay was. When we shared everything with her, she took down our information, was extremely apologetic, and gave us free breakfast vouchers which we appreciated. read more

I am a seasoned Marriott member and frequent traveler and I have to say I won't consider this hotel again. First, the water pressure was non-existent. I felt like I was trying to shower under a tree in a rainstorm, scrounging for any drops I could get. Second, I left a rather expensive skincare product in the room, which is my fault for sure. However, they called me back to tell me they found it and when I went to pick it up I was told they couldn't find it and sometimes things "walk away". Ummmm, so you just told me that your staff stole my item. Sorry, even my Platinum status isn't enough to convince me to go back. Really need to work on this place. I will not return here. I came to the area with with a busy schedule and 2 of 3 days I was delayed because my room door was not unlocking. When I arrived my room door lock was inoperable and it took over an hour to repair. Later I was locked inside the room and needed help to exit, more lock repairs. The next day the lock worked but only if I used 2 hands and a great deal of force. The housekeeping staff even noticed and came over to help me force it. Front desk staff were friendly but unable to give me a new room and did not seem to think it needed fixing as long as I could make it work. I also had a question about an additional charge and that took waiting around for an accountant, more time away from what I came to accomplish. Little things: water temp and pressure varied widely during a shower, one day pressure very weak. Ice machine flooding the floor, area on the bathroom floor after it was cleaned that looked like a dried puddle of ? next to the toilet. Pluses: AIr temp in fitness center is adjustable, most of the machines worked. Ed the maintenance man is very nice. read more

I came to this hotel on a business trip...Heinous. I understand that since the pandemic places are understaffed and it's hard to get good work, but this hotel is very very bad. Floors need to be vacuumed, table tops need to be wiped down, the whole place needs a boiled dinner. But the worst part of all was the sheets on my bed. Is this a crime scene? If first impressions are any indication, this place ranks pretty low on the hotel scale. I stay in 30-40 hotels a year and have never had such a long wait just to get checked in. We arrived shortly after 3:30 and found about 30 people in line. Unfortunately the staff was so inexperienced and slow that after 20 minutes there were still over 10 people ahead of us. Erg!! We finally reached the front of the line and were greeted by the ever so friendly, helpful and efficient Andi, who seemed to be doing the lions share of the check ins - and even after dealing with all the hot and angry guests was cool, collected and very friendly (5 stars for her!). She checked us in quickly and got us on our way. Nice job! Our room was in the back wing (fine with me to be away from all the activity of this busy busy place) on the second floor. The building is older and shows it in the small bathrooms, inadequate sound proofing and shabbiness here and there. Like most Starwood properties, this Sheraton had great pillows and comfy beds, a legacy of the heavenly bed trend they pioneered many years ago (I still lust for those beds). The a/c worked great and the furnishings were newer. It was fine for a mid-scale hotel. Most of the guests seemed to be in town for the Cubs-Brewers game although some were families attending a wedding. I do t think I'd choose it again when I'm next in Milwaukee. This is primarily due to poor noise insulation-I didn't appreciate being awaken at 2 am with nearby guests thumping on the door/wall. read more

Also we had to call room service because our garbage was overflowing. The staff was very pleasant and apologetic. But they didn't seem to be able to get things done. I'm here for a quick business trip. The hotel has a funny lay out - half of the workshop rooms are in one building the others in a second wing. The lobby is tiny. Good for individual travelers but not great for a conference filled with 400 people. The hotel room a bit tired looking. Nothing special here but it's clean and the staff are very nice. Upgraded my review from 3 to 4 stars because of the STAFF. They went above and beyond in the restaurant and the wait team during a huge banquet. One special guy (I'll have to find his name and tell the manager) even went out of his way to hold a lunch plate for me because I had a commitment during the big luncheon. read more

I stayed at this location on June 15-17. I was charged twice which I brought to their attention and was refunded back the money. What I was so upset about is that kids were running up and down the hallways beating on room door I was in. This was brought to the staff's attention and nothing was resolved. This went on until the day I checked out which was on Sunday morning June 18th. The food for breakfast was cold and the bacon was half cooked. The vending machines and microwave were not working. One of the towels in the bathroom was already used. I informed them at front desk and was told someone was going to bring new towels that never happened. The ice bucket had already been used. It had water in the ice bucket. Giving the amount of money that I spent at this hotel I would've thought the service would have been better but it wasn't. read more

This would be my Second Stay at the Hotel in February for Fur Square Convention. This time my Boyfriend was able visit F2 Conversation at the Hotel. People were amazing kind as always. Room are like Sound proof except when people are in the hallway. Very helpful staff at the Hotel . 4 people Split the payment for the room everyone only payed $170 for 5day stay. Must try Craft Burger,Beer Cheese Soup and Skunk Juice Punch. Charity $$ for this convention when to Wisconsin Haws. The positives: convenient location, great workout facilities, good food in the restaurant. My room was clean, I got $5/day for re-using my towels, and it met my needs. Not exactly negatives: strange floorplan in the hotel meant that it is 2 attached buildings, dated decor in the rooms, and an indoor pool area that could use a facelift. I was here for a weeklong conference and the hotel served its purpose, as well as being close to nearby restaurants and a mall if I felt stir crazy and needed to get out. I'd recommend it for anybody needing a conference/convention facility read more

As for the room, poor water pressure and stained grout in the shower, and the toilet did not properly flush. Housekeeping staff don't greet you in the hall, and some of the front desk staff seem not super engaged. I asked twice about local shuttle service, as part of my logistical decisions were based on whether I'd need a car or not. I confirmed in the morning I just needed to call to let them know when I needed a ride. I called 30 minutes later and was told the shuttle would not be available for another 75 minutes. Surely this is something that would have been anticipated? If the shuttle is only for local service, how could it have been gone that long during business hours? In general, the interiors are very worn, and the exteriors need a serious sprucing up. Coats of paint/stain, fresh paint, better attention to detail all around. The air quality was also not the freshest. There are not enough elevators, and what they do have seem rather old and slow. Lots of money needs to be reinvested in this property or go ahead and re-brand it to something that is more in line with what you will actually get. read more

While certainly not a luxury hotel - the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield is a decent hotel. The location (it is located about 20-minutes [traffic dependent] from downtown), in close proximity to the highway is nice for transportation purposes - but not high on the aesthetic listing. In addition, the hotel is located at the nexus of three large parking lots and seems a bit lost in the sea of shopping mall stores and nondescript businesses. Now - all of that is to say, don't stay at the Sheraton Brookfield if you're looking for a destination hotel. However, if you're looking for a clean, safe, convenient location - this is a good bet hotel. On another note - the staff were awesome. Very polite, accommodating and knowledgable. I had a slight issue with the noise level in my room; and, although the issue could not be fully resolved, the staff were 100% amenable to help and very responsive to my requests. Will I stay here again? Probably not - but that is not because of the hotel. Rather, because my work in Milwaukee has me downtown and I would prefer a more central location. Keep this in mind when you go to book your room. read more
