This place is so good. I inherited a couple of watches from my dad that I thought needed cleaning and new batteries. After being ignored by the guy at Advantage for about a half hour, I remembered Sherrie's had done some work on my wife's engagement ring and went there instead. What a difference. Greeted warmly, helped immediately. John (or Jon) showed me that both watches actually needed to be wound and demonstrated how to wind them. Not only that, he gave me advice on how to clean them myself and the best way to get the crystal replaced on the Rolex. Walked out after about 5 minutes with two working watches and no charge, and they never for a moment made me feel stupid or like I was putting them out. A bit of research later and I found myself looking at engagement rings with Ronnie. The initial engagement ring I picked out came across as 3D renders from him a few weeks later, and didn't quite meet my expectations. I ended up picking out another design and it fit the bill. It was completed about 7 weeks later, just in time to get engaged! I have been using Sherry for over 20 years and they never cease to amaze me. We just remounted/redid my wife's wedding ring as the diamonds were coming loose. The center stone on this ring is a .36 ct brilliant pink oval cut natural diamond (GSA Certified) She suggested remounting it in a very traditional Bezel Cathedral setting. She melted down the white gold from her old ring and custom built the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. She totally out did herself. Jonnie and Ron where great advisors to the project. Went in to see if they could do some repairs on a ring. The employee I spoke with gave some suggestions for different options on the repair and then went to speak with the jewelry repair person to get their advice on it as well. They were super friendly and I could tell they were more interested in making sure I was happy with the end result rather than just making money. In the end, it took a little longer than normal to do the repairs (a week and a half) because they had someone out on vacation and we're behind on orders. It really wasn't a big deal because they're just so dang friendly! When I picked up my ring the employee also suggested that I take advantage of their free cleanings every six months so they can inspect my ring for preventative measures. I was also able to look around while waiting and they have some very pretty jewelry, both new and used (consignment pieces). I will definitely be going back! read more

I took a cherished piece of jewelry to Sherrie to do some work on. I specifically asked that the gold not be cut, and they assured me that it was possible to fix the piece without cutting it. I returned a week later to find that they had cut the gold, sloppily and unevenly soldered it back together, and thinned out the shank. When I tried to communicated my concerns, I received a quite defensive remark and no offer to work on the piece as I had asked in the beginning. I will not be returning to this store ever again, nor will I be recommending that anyone shop there as well. read more
