She took me back to the right area and even picked them out for me. I forgot they had a minimum ($1) to use a credit card. I had no money with me besides my credit card. They offered me to come back and pay, I was afraid i would forget. I shopped instead. I knew I probably needed more items. When I checked out, the woman asked me if I was going to put the phone holder on my bike now. I said yes, so she followed me out with a screw driver. The screw was too short, so she went in and got a bigger one for me. You don't get service like this anymore.

I didn't want to pay the $$$ get the dealer replacement. I'd been to other hardware stores that had the right width of screw, but way too long. Anyway, I decided to give this store a try. I walked in and the person at the counter asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for. He directed me to the correct aisle, which end, and which side of the aisle. When I got there, there was already another employee there helping someone else. After he finished with the other customer, he asked if I needed help. I showed him my key fob and went to work to find something that would fit. Eventually, he found one and even screwed it in for me, which was great because I definitely don't have a hex wrench small enough for that screw. In the end, my bill was 99 cents plus tax. What a great deal, and great customer service!

We went to check out the store for fun anyway. We were not greeted when we came in even though we were the only people in the store. We found his exact vehicle in the store. He pointed to the part he needed and the guy didn't even look, just said, "we don't have it." We left and my white brother-in-law called and reminded them of the day he had purchased the same part. He had them set it aside for us and we returned. my husband bought the $48 part and asked if they could install it. It was clear they didn't want to do it and he was given a very vague answer of how they were too busy even though there were no other people in the store. My husband paid for the part and left. Whether they were just lazy or racist we don't know but either way, the service was terrible.

I never got a response, and figured maybe it was overlooked, so I tried again. Days later and still no answer. I could call them, but really, if email is not actually an option for communication, then why offer an email address? Hopefully my experience is just a fluke but a lack of good communication does not make me trust a business. After looking specifically for low reviews (on Google Maps), it seems communication is indeed a known issue.

They measured for the window wrong, so that could not be done the same day as the shower. The window was in the shower area and we were told that there is not am option for any type of frosted glass when it was being installed, but it was stated in the sales pitch that absolutely it would be. We went 6+ weeks with a tension rod and plastic on the window just to use the shower. After the shower was installed they never reordered the window that was measured wrong and marked the job completed. There is no communication from those who make the decisions and little to no desire on anyone's part to call and check on the satisfaction of the work done. We would not have gone with them in the first place but were told certain things during the consultation that seemed like the work crew had no idea what was going to be happening. We hired this compan on the assumption that they were professionals doing the job. That was not the experience at all. I interacted with one person who came to check on some of the minor concerns and I do feel he could tell immediately that there were problems and worked on our behalf to get things done right. Wow! I don't know where to start. I have a disabled adult son, and I lucked into a moving date that…read morewasn't months out. As a result, we had a deadline to meet for the floors, and I could not move my son into a home that didn't have smooth floors (previously had carpet). Complications arose with the original delivery (no fault of lumbar liquidators), but Cindy... she was awesome. I know NOTHING about floors, and she helped me through the process of selecting the PERFECT floor for our home. She answered my questions. She understood that I had a tight budget to work within. She knocked out EVERY problem that arose, got our floor delivered, and found installers that could meet our deadline. I wouldn't be being honest if I didn't admit that the process was stressful... moving always is, but with Cindy in my corner... that stress was reduced drastically. She had an odd challenge to work with too... I do not use a cell phone, so communication could have been challenging, but nope... she left messages when I wasn't home, contacted me by e-mail, answered the phone when I called, called me back when she said she would. It was no problem at all. I simply do not have the words for how amazing the customer service she provided is. She knows her product and is friendly and efficient, and honestly... I don't know if I've ever met someone with such good problem solving skills. It's not as simple as just ordering a floor... there is delivery and install and multiple people that are involved before that finished product ends up becoming a part of your home. It was installed by move-in date and within the budget I had to work within. I am now surrounded by boxes that I need to find time to unpack while trying to get my old house on the market. I have a ton of things to do and worry about, but the floor isn't one of them. Cindy took that stress off my plate. The installers she sent did an incredible job. I'd been very nervous about hiring for the floors, because I haven't had much luck with hiring for anything. I end up doing most things myself, but I knew a genuine hardwood floor was not in my skillset. I put out feelers on a website, asking for referrals. Lumbar Liquidators was one of those recommendations. I'm glad I used them. I know this review is long, but I have not been satisfied with the customer service AND workmanship of a company for over 30 years. Things have changed, and not for the good. So... since this kind of service is evidently rare (or I just have really bad luck lol), I am taking the time to share this with anybody out there that is trying to find someone they can TRUST to get their floors done.
