It was a Sunday and I was at target and the bathroom line was really long. I went next door to this location, and they had ONE older woman customer in there looking at paint. I asked if they had a restroom and the younger employee said yes and told me to grab the bathroom key from the front. I said thank you. As I'm walking to the front, Michael comes from the back and asks if I need help. I said im grabbing the restroom key. ( I don't need his help, just stating what I was doing, as if I wasn't already helped by someone who was present ). He then goes OFF and was like "how does everyone know we have a bathroom key?!?!? ONLY PAINTERS COME IN HERE!!!!! I said the bathroom line next door was long. He then proceeds to embarrass himself by saying " well If it was a 31 flavors next door would you go and ask for the bathroom???! " I said EXCUSE ME? The older woman looked at him so shocked and appalled. I walked off and used the restroom. Ironically, If you took advantage of people with great customer service walking in your EMPTY store, you would gain more customers and referrals, but sadly this won't be the case. I chose Ace Painting because of their fair price and reputation, but also because of Jason's professional and sincere desire to help us get the job done right. Our exterior paint had been neglected and was overdue for fresh paint. But Jason assured me that much of the damage was repairable. He left us with a written quote, and the price was fair. Some fascia had to be replaced, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. The owner, Justin, has put together a great team. The crew was fantastic. They always started on time and paid attention to details.
