    Emmanuel very kind man
    Harold M.

would like to recognize Emmanuel at Home Depot in Anaheim for his outstanding customer service. We came in with several questions regarding the replacement of an air conditioning unit, and Emmanuel took the time to patiently answer every question we had. He was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely kind. In today's world, it is not always easy to find someone who truly cares about helping customers, but Emmanuel went above and beyond to make sure we understood our options and felt comfortable with our decisions. His positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and willingness to help made our experience exceptional. Home Depot is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee representing their company. Thank you, Emmanuel, for your outstanding service and for treating us with kindness and respect.

The Home Depot on Brookhurst in Anaheim is my go-to spot for houseplants. Their garden section is always stocked, and the best part -- they have one of the BEST plant return policies. If your plant dies within a year, you can bring it back (dead plant and all) with your receipt or the card you used, and they'll refund you. Trust me, as someone who does not have a natural green thumb, that policy has saved me more than once. I picked up three plants today, all looking healthy and happy on my patio for now. Once the sun gets too strong or the cold rolls in, they'll be coming inside with me. I love browsing their plant area -- good variety, good prices, and the peace of mind of that 1-year guarantee makes it totally worth it. If you're a plant lover (or a hopeful plant lover like me), this location is solid.

Service: Short on knowledgable staff, and just simply not staffed proper for the amount of customer traffic that was there. Selection: It's Home Depot, although I did have to wait for a bit for some wire mesh to be pulled from the back because it wasn't stocked proper the evening prior. Value: They're really the only game in town, so the value is that they have it and few other places will. :P

The Nursery :( I was disappointed that the potting mix had a lot of ants crawling all over them. The plant food products looked like they've never been dusted off since they hit the shelves. I had to leave and go to the Home Depot in Garden Grove. Their Nursery is on point!

Inventory appears healthy, though as other reviews mentioned, prices are slightly higher than similar plant stores and nurseries. When I came on a Sunday afternoon, there was a workshop happening (the other two-thirds of the space), so classes are probably where the Green Place focuses most of their efforts I would guess. The associate up front wasn't friendly or unfriendly, but I also didn't feel compelled to leave with a new houseplant. Maybe if the occasion arises, it would be a fun spot to do a group activity - but personally, that isn't today for me.

The plants I got were some Pothos, Dracaena, and Monstera. I loved that they explained to me how to take care of the plants. The team there also helped me select the plants that would be best for the amount of light that comes into my place. The average cost for the plants I bought were around $12-15 and I'd say they're about small-medium sized plants. As a bonus, they also partnered with another small business that offers pottery painting towards the back of the store. You could probably purchase a plant and then paint something to put the plant in. How cool!

When planting into the ground, to our dismay, there was rubbish all throughout the pot... so we had to wash off all the contaminated soil and plant it bareroot. Absolutely disgusting they grow their plants with toxic plastic mixed in! They probably get free compost from the city dumps or God knows. The soil was also full of artificial fertilizer pellets which likely contain plastic polymers. I contacted them and they offered a replacement - but, whats the point of that if their other plants are grown the same way. It was too much for me to drive back and deal with that, and I'd set a time to get this job done. Was a little in touch by text with them, they didn't offer any form of refund or discount for the crappy soil condition they sold it in or the trouble to remove it, just the message: "Good luck with the bare root." Also, the tree's root system was actually quite small, a 3-5 gallon pot would have been more than adequate vs a half-filled 15 gallon pot. All in all, way overpriced for this poor quality and hassle. 2 stars instead of 1 simply because it's difficult to find some of these tropical fruit trees and the Vietnamese ladies here were friendly in person. ‍ Hopefully the tree survives the transplant shock, if it doesn't, we will fight for a full refund.

My boyfriend and I actually initially found it as we were driving through La Mirada, but the name of the store caught my eye and we went in a few months ago, but I'm finally getting around to writing a review for them now! There was a gentleman who was running the store, who I learned was the owner! They had apparently been open in LA for a long time before packing up and moving over to La Mirada! The plants inside (as the name might suggest) were a mixture of trees and small plants. I'm not the best at knowing what plant species are what, but the vibe was very gardeny. What I mean by that is, that the owner of the location seems familiar with the plants, handling them, repotting them, etc. The entire time we were perusing, he was moving plants around, repotting, while also being very attentive and answering our questions. My favorite part of the store is tucked away in the back corner. It's a collection of art and art pieces. The painted plants were actually painted by the store owner's mother! In the end, that's what I ended up buying (I got 3 painted pictures). I don't remember exactly what the price was, but I remember being very pleased with what we got. If you have 5-10 minutes to spare and you're in the area, I recommend checking out Namoo Plant Shop. What you find might actually surprise you!
