I hardly even touched the paint and told him I'm sorry I just got the wrong sheen and he basically said too bad so sad. Looking my can of paint up and down like it was an alien. I said nothing but thanks anyway and left and I will not be back. Why would I want to buy overpriced items to then be treated like a nuisance instead of a customer just trying to get what they need? If you do need a fair amount of assistance, try getting there at either a slower time or scheduling an appointment with a decorator. I had an appointment with Tamara Guffrey and she listened, to me and gave me her undivided attention. She is a very talented and experienced decorator, having worked uptown for years. The tile we selected matches my granite well at a price comparable to big box stores. Installation was quick and flawless. Her whole team, Judith, Miguel (installer) were great as well.

I was not. I contacted the regional manager Jason O'Neal who has been nonresponsive. The excuse of "covid" was also given as to why items could not be returned. No team members at this site are wearing masks, there is no signage about Covid protocol or following of any basic Covid protocol in this store, likely because the state of Louisiana has lifted almost all Covid restrictions. I requested the items be refunded so I could use my credit account for items I can actually use. As this will affect my credit, if not honored I will have to pursue legal action against the company. It sucks that I now have to dedicate real time to this when the problem came from the American Freight side.

But did you know they also sell TSA compliant gun lock boxes? I didn't. Now I do, and now you do too. Before you go into some tirade about how bad guns are, hear me out. If you're not a federal agent, you can't carry a gun on a plane. I'm not, but I did need a gun as soon as I landed, so I had to figure something out. Why did I need a gun when I landed? Don't worry about that. To check a pistol, you need an approved lock box. I searched and searched online and found all kinds of containers that cost a bunch. A buddy recommended HF and theirs was like $20-25. Hell yes. Cheap and compliant with TSA rules! The store itself was packed with people as it normally is. Service was friendly and I was in and out in under ten minutes.

'Harold' was the poster child for being an outstanding representative of O'Reilly Auto Parts. He was intelligent, fast on the uptake, articulate, well spoken, genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and he knew & offered the related items to my project.
