I got the Purdy extension pole for painting, and it works like a charm with the Purdy roller with the quick click) and rather abysmally with the Home Depot brand Wooster (that I bought because Sherwin Williams already closed for the day). Andreas said I would be treated like family and wow the employees all are able to look me up without asking for a phone number or anything by the second visit. I'm glad that they made me feel at home and are so helpful giving tips with all my painting woes and needs - it'll definitely be my go to spot in Houston!

Really great store where we enjoy shopping! Ballard often has sales, so I recommend keeping an eye out and going in at strategic times of year. One of our visits was right before a seasonal change and our designer offered us a floor model at a discount! Also, the catalogs and website are great resources! Some items may be overpriced, but we have found the quality of our purchases to be fair for the prices we have paid so far. I suggest checking out their website first before coming in and letting the designers know your limits. We never felt looked down upon for being clear with the designers about our budget or tastes. Lastly, the staff at this location have consistently been welcoming and kind. I generally prefer to enjoying browsing on my own and approaching staff once I have a decision or a question.
