I'm visiting a few times a day in their stores and always welcomed with a smile and get a lot of help from the reps. Unfortunately, at this store the manager did not want to help, and more than that, he made sure to put a note on my account to not approve any more purchases by phone like we did for the past few years!! Embarrassing that Sherman Williams hires people like this to work in their store and let it happen, from looking at the reviews, it happened several times before, and obviously this manager does NOT know customer service and what it means. Better to close the store and open a different location with nicer people or just change the whole crew cause they're already all rotten. The head of the store is just the worst manager I've ever seen.. being in the industry for years, dealing with Sherman Williams for a very long time and I'm shocked!!! who put a manager like this in the store????

They took my order, mixed the paint then rung up the sale. Without hesitation I gave them my credit card before looking at the can of paint (huge mistake). The top of the can and the lid were severely dented. When the salesman handed me the can, & the dent became visible to me, I asked the him if he would please give me a can that was not dented. My reason was that if all the paint was not used I'd want to store it in a can with a good seal. He refused and said i could buy an additional can of paint as they don't accept returns on specially mixed paint. At this point my hands have not even touched the can. It had not moved from the countertop. Clearly he dented it when he put it in the shaker!! He claimed it was just fine as it had been in the shaker and had not leaked. When I again asked him to please give me an unbent can he smarted off to me & said, "It's not like it's going to dent your ceiling." I'm completely disgusted at this service from Sherwin Williams. I understand the no return policy on special mix but don't give me a damaged container & expect me to have to keep it because you charged me before showing me the dented can!!!! I had to take the can, like it or not, as I needed it to paint that day but this was TERRIBLE customer service from a Sherwin Williams location that I've patronized for YEARS!! The salesman's name on my ticket was Jovane. Avoid this store & this salesman if you can!!!!

You can get cleaning products, keys made, children's clothing, books, toys, accessories, fine chocolates, order invitations/stationary, buy plasticware; plates, silverware, napkins, cookware, glasses, etc etc etc On this occasion I stopped in for a few specific items that I needed for the dinner party I was hosting. I sincerely wished that I had gotten the name of the wonderful man, who was working at Bering's and who immediately began helping me find what I needed to buy. He literally walked me around, asking others who also worked there, where to find these items. Of course we ended up in the right section with a multitude of selections which I truly appreciated. I found what I needed and I was a very happy customer! This person's excellent professional service was extremely appreciated. Next time I'm at Bering's I will try to find him, so I can edit this review and add his name so he gets recognized for his over-the-top service!!!

This morning took the cake though. I stood at the counter for 10-15 min while the woman at the register helped another customer (perfectly fine and predictable) with something small and detailed, but didn't greet me or smile or say anything along the lines of I'll be right with you. She basically ignored me and the one time she did look at me, it was fleeting and she looked annoyed. All I needed was a sample and I had an otherwise quick question. The other locations are always so kind and helpful. Idk what's wrong with this one. There's one nice guy who works here and everyone else acts miserable. I need to learn my lesson and just drive to that one on Fondren.

Okay, fine. They then called me back a week later and said it was going to be over $200. I could almost buy a new mower for that price, but I decided just to accept with it. For the next three weeks, I called every week to ask when it'd be ready, and every time I was told "next week." After five weeks I got sick of this and finally went back into the store in person. I was tired of being strung along every time I called over the phone, and I wanted a straight answer. Turns out, they hadn't done a single minute of work on my machine. They repeatedly lied to me over the phone, saying it was "almost ready" or would be ready "early next week." Totally dishonest. So I asked for my deposit back, and the initial response I got was, "that might not be possible." I was forced to get slightly rude and demand my money and my machine back from these liars.
