We wanted to purchase from somewhere close and since we were furnishing a 2nd home wear and tear is not going to be what it would be if we were living there full time. Within one week of delivery a seam was splitting on the ottoman (which we had never even sat on). Getting repairs is an absolute NIGHTMARE and a complete time suck. From calling to getting someone at the house to look at the issue took 6 weeks. Then 6 weeks to order whatever is needed to fix a seam (apparently we have to replace the entire cushion) and just got a call to schedule Ashley repairs to come out to actually do the repair - they left a message and I called them back within 15 mins - entire month of July for repairs is full. They will call me mid July to book hopefully for August. Mind you the couch was delivered in November. This long for a split seam - by time it is repaired will likely be 9/10 months from purchase. I will never ever ever purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley. Had this gone well i would have purchased more for our place - but nope, bought everything else (and we had to furnish the entire place) at different places. Do better Ashley or be honest with your customers about the repair process if there are issues!

The two poinsettias I chose didn't have foil wrappers on them, they were just in the black grow pots. I asked the salesperson working if they had any extra foil wrappers, and he explained that their supplier didn't send them with the plants (or ran out, I can't remember which). This was kind of disappointing. I thought for sure Earl May would have a back stock of these cheap foil wrappers, but there wasn't any attempt made to go beyond the explanation I was given or even recommend what I might use in their place. I wasn't going to buy pots. I didn't press the issue because these were for myself. Had I been buying them for others as gifts, I would have put them back, or asked that a wrapper be taken off of another plant. Not sure why I didn't ask about this in the first place, other than it seemed like I would have been inconveniencing this employee. Since I had the gift card and a coupon, I went ahead and left with the ones I had chosen. Their overall selection was pretty skimpy at the time I was there. poinsettias were just on one display near the cash register area. My poinsettias are still alive, though I wouldn't say thriving. Nice, clean store. Nice items for sale. Customer services was fine, but not extraordinary. Few customers and enough employees that I expected better. For selection I recommend Iowa City Landscaping and Garden Center or make the drive to Pierson's in Cedar Rapids.

The replacement did not even make it 3 months despite doing everything staff recommended. ' To my dismay, the company will not replace a tree a 2nd time, so I am out over $250.00. For that reason, in spite of the helpful staff, I am taking my business to local greenhouses (whose prices are typically much more consumer friendly).

They are part of the TJ Maxx family however their main business is in the sale of Home Goods. I am just going to remain candid and be real with y'all. You can seriously do a lot of damage to your pocket here. I don't normally shop for home décor but one can easily get addicted to places like this especially if home décor is your jam. I had some self-restraint and spent about $60.00 at the sto! With that money I got a candle, two vases, a wooden laser cut birthday card and a pack of Christmas cards to last me through this season and the next.
