The mini buckets make adorable goody bag gifts that you can decorate and fill with homemade treats! When I checked earlier on Lowe's website, it's showed that the pink and blue mini buckets are available, however, when I tried to purchase, the website wouldn't let me checkout. I decided to make a number of calls and visits to the Lowe's locations while in Las Vegas. A number of employees mentioned to check this location. Oddly, I couldn't find this location on Yelp. A quick check on Google showed this S. Pavilion Center Drive location. Time to add this location on Yelp! But first a visit to this location! We drove to the location and hoorah, it has hundreds of the blue mini buckets! Thanks to Vick (sp?) on letting me know where to find it ... Aisle 7! And now onto a hunt for the pink and teal mini buckets? It's very reasonably priced at $1.98 plus tax. Will I find the elusive teal colored mini buckets?

DEMO: They had really nice countertops with wooden cabinets on display! Wooden cabinets seemed to be the current TREND and I actually really like the look. There were a lot of choices for wooden cabinets but, I was looking for a wood color that wasn't too yellow, orange, brown, grey or pink! Sounds tricky to find right? Well, you're right. It is!!! VALUE: We are taking our time looking for something that feels right to us. There were some really nice wooden cabinets being displayed so I took some pictures. I think I like the ones with the gold hardware. With the gold hardware it makes the cabinets look like it has more value... I went in today to purchase a sample of the color I needed, but I needed flat finish and samples only come in eggshell. No worries, they mixed up a quart of Benjamin Moore Mink for me, which was probably better as I'd likely go through the sample size pretty quickly. The service was great and they have just about every painting supply you could possibly imagine. I'll definitely be back in the future for other projects!

He had the paint waiting for me when I arrived and greeted me with a warm smile and friendly tone. After giving me my new paint. I asked if he would mind taking a look at my old can of paint to see if it was good or had gone bad. He not only inspected, but stirred it up for me and gave me a smaller can to place the old paint in. He took the time and went above and beyond. This particular location on Tropicana at Durango is so much larger than meets the eye. I loved the personal service here, the organized rows, and the well-curated selection of merchandise. I originally went there for Car Key Duplicates (which are the best deal here, skip the dealership!) and left with an armload of goodies you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. Ginger Chews, Sarsaparilla, and beeswax and who knows what else? It all felt very Pacific Northwest or a caring hardware store I used to frequent in West Hollywood. I will be back on my next home project and for basic maintenance supplies, too. This Ace location is ACE and lovely. Pleasant shopping experiences make a difference.
