Far less overwhelming than big box stores when you are mid-project and just need a fabulous paint color. The lighting in the store is actually really optimal for choosing paint colors, and there is a table right near the paint samples on which you can fan out your tile or curtains or whatever it is you are trying to match up. Simple, but much appreciated. They will also store your paint and finish information in the computer in case you need to reference it later and can't remember what the heck you chose. Everything revolves around the customer in this place, and you know what? I love it. Check them out next time you are sprucing up your homestead!

Sometimes I'll buy paint during a sale and bring it back to tint once I've chosen my color. They're always accommodating. Just had another awesome experience. Sarah was super helpful and honored a sale for me. They even had a saw on select exterior paint for $10 a gallon !!

One negative comment...the whole store is cool white light, while my house is warm white light. That makes a big difference in how the color ultimately looks, and without a warm light area I can't really preview colors adequately in the store.

I went into Bob's in Manchester yesterday with the intent of purchasing furniture for our new…read moreliving room. All was typical for most of my time browsing, sales rep says hello and introduces themselves and lets us know when we need assistance, all fine. When it came time to purchase and I had made my decision of which furniture to buy ($300 recliner, loveseat, and a chaise), I realized there was not a package deal for the loveseat and chaise in that particular style, only for the sofa and chaise ($999). If I were to purchase a la carte for the loveseat and chaise, they would have been $499 each ($998 total). I asked the sales representative, George if there was anything that could be done to create a package for the loveseat and chaise where I would not be paying the same price as the sofa (it didn't make much sense to me to pay the same price for approx 26in less couch). George and another associate said they probably wouldn't be able to get a package deal for it and all was as is, which is fine, I've worked in sales I know how it goes. They called manager Matteo over to see if something could be worked out. I want to first say, George and the other associate were great, friendly, and helpful and this review is not about them. Matteo, however, was the epitome of a sleezeball salesman in my opinion. While he confirmed there was not a way to create a new package, he gave me some ridiculous excuse for the price stating I was paying for craftsmanship and not material so the difference in size of the couch was a moot point. I disagreed and stated that I was going to shop around and see what else was available in the area. After saying this, Matteo proceeded to make the comment that I would come back to Bob's nonetheless because they have the best prices in the area. This struck me as very arrogant and condescending, and thus I DID take my business elsewhere and made a large purchase at a competitor. While there was nothing wrong with the product, I do not want to give my business to a business that speaks to their customers in such a way.
