We're headed to the checkout and see a line of people at one lane but see a light come on a couple lanes down. We walk to the checkout that just opened and the cashier rolled her eyes and said "I was going to get someone else from the other line who had already been waiting". My husband says "ok, that's fine." But then she said "ok come on". We would've waited. No big deal. A cashier is the last person you see in a store and can leave a huge impression

It seems like "a mattress in a box" is the latest greatest thing but I did not want a mattress made entire out of gel memory foam. I don't believe they will last as long as a real mattress with coil springs. And other big box stores are now selling them via online only. I wanted to walk into a store and pick one up today. I'm giving my granddaughter a new bed for her birthday on Wednesday. I purchased a Serta "Radnor" medium firmness full size mattress. BUT, Menards is advertising an 11% Rebate on everything which I did not know about, so my deal was sweetened. This particular mattress does have a layer of memory foam on top of the traditional coil springs. Also, the price tags above each "model" of mattress say In Stock or Special Order, BUT don't be fooled. Get your SKE number and then go look in their inventory in the back. Yes it is available to look through with assistance from them (there are little signs telling you this). Mine was marked Special Order but upon looking through their inventory we found mine In Stock. There are also discounted red tag mattresses available along the back wall if you can a better deal. The sales associate pulled out a mattress cart to move it with and called for assistance in loading. The helpful man was ready right after checking out and he and myself put the mattress in my little 5 by 8 ft trailer easily.

They have a lot of themes for this year's patio and porches. From gnomes to sea turtles and even mermaid items. The only downside to this location is there is typically only one cashier so your wait may be a while.

I have been driving past this Lowes location for years and didn't really know of its existence…read morebecause I have a Lowes in Mooresville much closer to me that I shop at regularly. But my Lowes doesn't sell compactor trash bags for some reason and I have been going to the Bloomington store because it avoids traffic with practically all interstate travel for me. This Lowes does carry trash bags for my trash compactor and I saved a trip elsewhere because I came to Avon to shop at Best Buy and eat lunch. We also took a look at the outside garden department but only about half the stock was out because it's still early in the planting season. I used the check out in the garden area and got quick service. I found a garden tool I didn't know I needed until I saw it in the lane.

5 stars. He took me…read moreon a date to pick strawberries!!! How sweet! (Pun intended!) The fields were very wet/muddy, so I was glad he told me to wear shoes I didn't mind getting dirty. The hay ride over to the fields was slow and easy. The driver even offered to snap a picture for us. We picked just short of a full bucket. It came to about $20. They spoil fast, so have a plan! Don't just pop them in the fridge. Then, we went inside the store and grabbed a cantaloupe and some hard cider. The strawberry hard cider was perfection. It was like drinking a fresh strawberry. One of the best ciders I've had - top 3, easy! He said the cantaloupe was great, too! I grabbed a few stickers for my scrapbook and a magnet for his fridge at the little store in the porch. And oh!... don't miss the cider donuts! The plain are best. The icing was waaaay too sweet for me, Overall a fantastic outing! We will do it again!

Outback Painting was a great value -- good price and excellent work. We had exterior and interior painting done. We had rotted wood (mostly trim) on our exterior and the crew did a good job power washing, replacing rotted wood, caulking, and painting (spray and brush). Teri helped us choose colors by bringing paint samples and painting swatches on our garage side. Crew was efficient and we are very happy with the results. Would definitely recommend (our neighbors painted their house too using Outback).
