Real professionals in coatings, they know paints and stains, do excellent color matching for paints and stains, are courteous and helpful, and even lug the case out to the car for you. Unfortunately, it should be called Hadlock's House of Paint RATIONING because the owners are bean-counting skimpy skinflints, who somehow imagine they can make more money in the retail paint business by NOT keeping paint in STOCK. I have three projects going and have bought thousands of dollars in paints and stains from this store, but every time I need more paint, they only have A LITTLE. I can have a gallon maybe, if I get lucky, they'll have two, and occasionally I'll have a lottery winning ticket where they have three gallons! Beyond that, everything is a special order, and come back on Friday. REALLY? It's a 30 mile round trip! It's an absolutely preposterous way to run a paint store. I really try to support local businesses, but you have to wonder what these people can possibly be thinking, and how they stay in business? I really want to support the in-store experts and keep access to them, but it's really grueling when their bungling bosses make it so difficult for their store employees to sell paint. When everything "has to be ordered", you have to make two trips to get the paint you need, when it should only take one. I will probably finish out these projects with these guys, since I don't want to change horses in the middle of the stream, but their terrible inventory (mis)management will have me looking for alternatives for my next renovation. If everything "has to be ordered", maybe I should just be ordering online and getting it delivered?

The staff is friendly, a great resource to have for references and tips. There are plenty of color cards and catalogues to take home with, with references for the sheen on the wall. I parked on Park but there's also ample parking on Alexander or any of the side streets. Prices seem reasonable considering you are also getting access to help with your plant and things that are REALLY hard to find other places around town. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the plants I had questions about. On top of that, he's honestly pretty cute, which certainly didn't hurt the experience! My…read moreinitial review was that Kevin and his brother installed my beautiful shower to bath conversion, but their managers, Matt and Bryan, never followed through on getting quotes to me to install the floor, so I had a $13,000 shower with a dilapidated 1952 floor. Fortunately for Wonder Shower and Bath they have Sarah Scott who is amazing at following up with customers, and she got me the quote I waited 7 months for, and my beautiful, white floor is now installed! Sarah followed up with me today to see how the install went. I let her know the flooring that Butch and Tim installed is WONDERful, but the beading around the toilet is not great, and that my toilet now runs sometimes. Those are things I can deal with, but Sarah said she's going to have the Rochester team correct those issues this week. Thanks to Sarah Scott at Wonder Shower and Bath, I highly recommend them, and they've gone from 3 stars to 5 stars in my book!

I had ordered an item online and picked up in store. When I picked up, I asked the employee if he…read moreneeded to do anything to finish the sale. He said no. Two days later, I got notice that I needed to pick up my item. I went in because I had ordered a second identical item from another local TSC store, wondered if possibly it was a duplicate order. It wasn't, there wasn't an additional item waiting, and a couple of the staff members got a little porky with me, practically accusing me of trying to pull a fast one. I explained that they may want mark my purchase as completed so the item could be taken out of inventory. I was a retail manager for years and I know what it's like having to try to explain shortages to district managers! Obviously they didn't because I was able to order and pay for the item again today, asking for in store pickup. It's something that I use frequently so it's not a purchase I made simply to prove a point. It is the only one (supposedly) in stock. Time will tell. Honestly, the current management is more interested in hanging out and chit chatting with their staff than actually helping customers. I will say there are a couple of outstanding cashiers who are always smiling and friendly - you go, girls!

I had an entire kitchen quoted and ended up only pulling the trigger on just an oven. I'm now very glad I didn't buy the rest from them. First, we discussed in the showroom about the struggle of delivery we had in the past, so I know for a fact we discussed delivery terms with the sales women. Fast forward to today our oven gets delivered at 7am (were told between 8 and 10) and the guy says he doesn't go inside houses. How exactly are you supposed to offer delivery and not go in the house? He ends up dropping it at our back step outside and its supposed to rain today. So now we both have to take time off work and struggle moving this oven by ourselves before it downpours. We called and got forwarded to about 5 different people, only to be told there's nothing they could do. I brought up the fact that this is definitely something we discussed at our appointment to which I was dismissed and told "that's just their policy". I find that asinine, god for bid they had an elderly customer... How does a company selling appliances have that type of policy? With an upcoming remodel, they lost out on a good opportunity. I will never buy from them again, and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
