This store has really gone downhill. It's hit or miss whether they actually have the items in stock they say they do, and have purchased some defective items that had to be returned - including wall vent covers, lights, and flooring. We replaced the hardwood in our kitchen with another type of hardwood and the sample was beautiful. It appeared that all the boxes made of that lot had been defective and we had to purchase about 5 or 6 extra boxes to pick through and hand select pieces that were not cracked or scratched. They did accept the returns, but we had to pay labor for an additional day because it slowed the project so much. The flooring and advertised as being scratch resistant and recommended for use in kitchens. The floor acquired a 2 foot long scratch in the first day and it was heartbreaking! We realized that the wood could be invented with a finger nail. Showed them this even with the floor sample at the store and they insisted it was a manufacture issue and not their responsibility. Filed a claim and no one ever came out to the house to view it before closing the case. This was not cheap flooring and although the color is nice and it matches my cabinets perfectly, it is flawed and really bothers me. I later read reviews of the flooring and apparabtly this was a known issue of a certain batch as multiple people had the same problem with boxes of unusable pieces. My family gives Lowes a lot of business and my dad is a contractor who primarily uses this store for work and I could not have been more disappointed and turned off by the service at this store. read more

Been to a few different lowe's I the area. The parking lot was a hot mess, hopefully it's just the normal winter wear and tear and they will take care of filling pot holes and paving. I was here to pick up some plants and flowers for a work event. The garden center was super busy with unfortunately only one cashier available. This is the closest home improvement store to our home! We've always had good luck here!! We ordered our riding lawn mower from here when we first moved in! It was delivered on the day promised, at the time promised. It was a great price! We frequently come here on the weekends; light bulbs, lawn supplies, lumbar, home projects. The cashier staff is always helpful and kind at check out. We needed sandbags to hold down our trampoline, and two workers in the area loaded them up for us, they were so heavy! I only go to the lines where a person does the check out. You should open more actual checkout lanes. This store is beyond horrible. The customer service is awful; we heard an employee say when someone called, and she disconnected them, ' they'll call back,' and laughed. We ordered a stove, and sent the wrong outlet; we were without one for over a week. We ordered carpet, and they gave the wrong information, so it will not be installed for almost a month now, When we call, they yoyo you all over the store, trying to find 'someone' to help............what a joke. I will NEVER give them another penny, much less buy anything major again. I cannot believe, from all the reviews I have read, that people continue to frequent these stores. Before I shop at Lowe's again hell would have to freeze over. We bought a stove, refrigerator and Microwave on June 5th of this year, and I still don't have the right refrigerator. 1st delivery the refrigerator was damaged as they brought it in and the delivery crew tried to jam it through my front door, needless to say they scratched my front door. 2nd attempted delivery they brought the wrong refrigerator and the delivery guy said this one is more expensive than yours! If you want it I'll just give you it. I said no that was not the one I ordered. 3rd attempt to bring a refrigerator they were very careful bringing it in but once again it was dented. 4th attempt to deliver it, I went outside to look at it to make sure everything was ok, it looked fine. As the delivery crew brought it in they banged it on my door again, then banged it on my cupboard which they scratched and also banged it on my granite counter. 5th attempt to Deliver they called and said they didn't have it and I would have to wait till November. We went in the store a few times because nobody would return our calls, Tony who was the manager of delivery told us to pick out a new door to replace the scratched one, so we did. Then I get an e- mail from there claims department stating that they will not replace the door and wanted to settle by giving us $356.00. That amount doesn't even pay for 1/4 of the door. I called Lowe's because the woman in claims said that the gentleman who came to look at the door said it needed to be replaced but didn't explain why. I asked if he could please put the reason why down. At this point Tony was gone and I was dealing with two gentleman named Stan and Dan. Dan called me and stated that it is out of Lowe's hands at this point because now claims will take over. This has been a nightmare for 4 months and we still are waiting for a refrigerator without dents. We shopped at the Lowe's on Ridge Road. read more

Lowe's is probably OK if you can pick something out yourself. However, if you need assistance you're out of luck. On a recent visit I needed a piece of glass cut to size, after 5 or 6 pages and waiting 25 minutes, someone finally showed up to do the job. Today was even worse. I needed a piece of plywood cut down the middle. No kidding, after many pages and waiting for at least 45 minutes I gave up. In the next 45 minutes I drove to Home Depot, picked out the wood, had it cut, and drove back to where I started. I guess I should have done that in the first place and saved myself the frustration of waiting at Lowe's for non-existent help. There were 2 other people waiting for the same help. I don't understand why businesses spend thousands of dollars in advertising to get you into the store, but then once you are there, you get terrible customer service. I was there around 7:00 pm on 6/24/21. For the entire time I was shopping, there was only 1 cashier open. When I was ready to check out, the line snaked all around to the paint aisle. I got tired of waiting, so I just abandoned my cart. Yet during my time shopping I saw a lot of employees just walking around and chit-chatting with each other. I used to be a Home Depot kid and never stepped into a Lowes until I was around my teenage years. To say it bluntly, Lowes is pretty darn good for a hardware store. Their is a great selection of kitchen appliances, paints, lighting, and so much more. It's well maintained and the staff aren't giving me the death glare so the shopping experience is thoroughly enjoyable. I had categorically an atrocious experience at Lowes in Greece as I attempted to purchase a fitted oven. The Greece location insisted the Henrietta location which is closer to where I live doesn't have what I was looking for and so we need to keep coming back there (incorrect). I gave the dimensions I needed and was assured it would be an easy installation from the " installation company" which Lowes outsources to (at the cost of the customer). I'll take this opportunity to make you very wary of any organization which uses an outsourcing facility for installation. This is a managerial strategy for: " lack of customer care and denial of ownership when there are issues". Not only did this company fail to install the unit, Greece Lowes which appears to be under the managerial direction of "Andy" made a litany of errors too plentiful to list in the short missive. Major points include: ordering the wrong units, quoting the wrong price, adding a toilet onto our order (!!!), missing the delivery date, but more importantly, this facility refused to return calls or let me speak to a real manager every time I called when we were on our eighth error. I was always told "the manager is on break, the manager will call back." The manager never called back, and the break appears to have been eternal. The only saving grace for this location in Greece is somebody whoM I believe was the acting manager one day (Michelle). Michelle actually understands customer service, and was empathetic when realizing the nightmare that I was put through with this unit. Michelle should have Andy's job. We ultimately hired two separate contractors to do the installation (photo) because Lowes simply demonstrated themselves directly and indirectly via their outsourced fitter to be completely incompetent in every conceivable way. There should be accountability here. I will never return. If I could give zero stars, I would. I'll tell a minimum seven people about my awful experience here to prevent them from experiencing similar issues. It pains me to be so incredibly critical of an organization, but in this case, it is richly deserved. read more

This store needs to be disciplined by not patronizing them until they get their act together. It's like dealing with a gang of unruly children. We just moved to the area and figured we'd give them an opportunity to win a ~$2,000 sale for a couple things things at the new house. Here's some highlights from our first visit to a Lowe's in 10 years. 1st while we were looking at the screen doors, an employee asked us to move so he could show them to someone else. Guess he never heard of waiting your turn. 2nd an employee almost ran over one of our children with a refrigerator he was pushing from behind with no assistance. Take a lesson from your "orange" friends on safe material handling. Good thing we were there to look out for you. It would have been very bad for you to hit my child. 3rd my mother in law was looking for the stoves to meet my wife and I there. After interrupting three employees in the midst of their social time, they reluctantly pointed her in the wrong direction. Hint: know your store and personally escort your customers. "Orange" always tries to walk me to where I'm going. 4th we accidentally dropped a sale pricing sign for a stove behind the appliance. My wife told an employee who laughed off the idea that another customer might like to know the actual price. He said it would be "a pleasant surprise for them at the register". I hope that is enough to dissuade you from giving them any business. If my review doesn't help, just look at any other review for this store. Boooo Lowes... Just boooooooo (Oh, and we went there first because of their 10% veterans discount. Nice touch, but the same screen door was $90 cheaper at "orange"... that was about a 30% discount for everybody!) read more

Lowes is falsely advertising the delivery date of the Gorilla Playsets. The manufacturer is actually 4 to 6 weeks from the order date but Lowes is unwilling to accurately represent the lead time on their website. I placed my order on 4/19 with a 5/10 delivery date. I am now being told 6/14 which is 8-weeks from delivery. Lowes now has my money and I have no other option than to wait 5 more weeks for my playset to arrive. Lowes made no effort to correct this issue other than offer 5% off the purchase price which wont correct this in time for my son's birthday in 1 week who asked for a playset. read more

Went to Lowes the other day to get some paint matched. My wife loves coloring her hair all the time and some times she will get hair color on the wall. The previous home owner left me a can in the basement but it was too hard to use. The cover wasn't on tight enough and the paint was solid as a rock. I bring in the can and tell the girl I want to get this same color matched. The top of the can even said Lowes on it with a code number. Over and over the girl kept saying it will be a close match but not exact. It was like she was covering her ass or something. I get home and start painting a couple of spots in the bathroom. After it dried it was definitely not a match. Now I will probably have to paint the whole bathroom again in order for the color to look good. I should of went to Hadocks house of paints on Lyell Avenue instead. Definitely will never go there again to match paint. read more

December 28 th 2020 I ordered a snow blower from The Greece NY Lowes. I paid $69.00 for delivery. I received it January 18th 2021. It was in horrible shape. Rust spots,Covered in Dirt,Missing Head light cover, The spark plug was cracked, it had no oil in the Engine, missing key needed to operate the snow blower and the auger was beat up. I first called the Warranty phone number. They told me to call the store. I spoke with several employees at that Lowes. Everyone was useless. I was told by one employee they no longer had that model and they will upgrade to the next model for free. (Never got the upgrade) Another Employee said they Had 18 of model in stock! I spent at least two hours talking to employees. They kept forwarding my call to other employees. It wasn't until January 23rd I got the replacement. My boyfriend and I come to this store a lot because we just moved into our new home and it needs a lot of work. We love the deals. Today we bought a gorgeous grill that had a great Fourth of July deal. I could get lost in their paint color section. We still have many rooms to paint in our house and we will definitely use Lowe's paint section to help us. There are sometimes where the employees have an attitude like "please don't ask me for help" but that isn't all the time. Just recently learned that dogs are allowed into Lowe's so we might be bringing our puppy for proper greeting training. read more

Our dryer broke about a month prior to our third baby girl being born. My parents tried to surprise us by buying us a new dryer and having Lowe's install it. They came to install it, never installed the new vent system (which we purchased as part of the new dryer and installation), and went to turn on the new dryer. Upon turning it on, it caught on fire which travelled up the vent and caught fire to the deck and the house. We had to call 9-1-1 and have the fire department come and put out the fire. We had to evacuate our house. A 4 year old, a sleeping 2 year old, and a 7-day old baby along with myself and my wife who had just had c section surgery. All evacuated while the fire dept rushed into the house to take care of the fire. It's been over a month, we had to pay for the damages out of our own pocket. The dryer is still on my father's credit card. We still have no dryer. And every time we call or email about the claim, the specialist refuses to respond. When we call the general claims number we get attitude like it's a hassle for them to be checking on this. This has been the worst customer experience ever. And we are now over a month later without a dryer and absolutely no sense of urgency from the company that caused the fire and the damage. read more

I would give a zero star if it was possible. I am wanting to replace my deck and tried to get help from the employees at the lumber yard at the Lowe's in Glasgow, KY. I wanted to get composite lumber and I had a materials list from our contractor that I handed to one of the employees when I walked in. He took the list and rudely said he "didn't know how to figure up the square feet" that was needed. He then got help from two other employees who didn't know either, but at least they were nice and trying to help. Finally, the three got an older employee to come help and the older employee said he would "need to use a calculator." As the four employees went back to the counter with my list they figured it up and said they didn't have enough of the composite wood on stock that I wanted. However, they gladly and excitedly told me that the Lowe's in Bowling Green, KY had what I wanted. I told them Glasgow was closer and that I would like to get what they had in stock and that they could order the rest for me. They told me they couldn't do that because it would "take a long time" to come in. I asked how long and they said two weeks or more, but would never give me a definite answer. I also wanted white fencing to go around the deck. The rude employee took my list and showed me where the railing was at in the store. I of course had a square footage that I needed and he of course didn't know how to figure it up either. He rudely tried to page another employee to come help me and was frustrated because I was wanting to buy the railing I guess..... After he kept being rude, I told him that we would go somewhere else and the employee became overjoyed saying "okay" and walked away. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I know every workplace is stressful and often short staffed, but that is no excuse to be rude to customers that are simply asking for help. I was going to buy more than $5,000 in the lumber and they lost my business. I couldn't have bought it if I tried because I actually don't think the employees would have let me. If you are looking to buy lumber at Lowe's in south central Kentucky, I would recommend you go to Bowling Green or Elizabethtown to start with and save your time! read more

I needed help to load 4 sheets of 3/4" plywood from The Ridge Rd. Lowe's. Guess what? Everyone in the lumber department except the clerk goes home at 5 PM. There was no one available in the department to provide help. The sales clerk called twice for someone...anyone in the store to come and help me, but no one showed up. I went down and asked to speak with the store manager. He never came out but the clerk at the service desk finally got someone to help. Although the clerks and the guy who came out to help were excellent, this was a miserable, time consuming experience and I blame the store manager for not having enough staff. Unfortunately my husband and I have had nothing but problems with our LOWES store (3150 Ridge Rd W). We purchased a washer and dryer on Monday the 10th to be delivered and installed at our house on the 14th. Despite the advertisement for "next day delivery" LOWES was unable to guarantee this for us despite the item being in stock in the store, citing "staffing issues". Next, the $50 dollar rebate we were to receive for purchasing two appliances of over $395 dollars did not print. We waited in the store for over 35 minutes to get the issue resolved when a manager was "too busy" to see us personally. Now, to top it off, today we called about the delivery time of our order only for the representative to state that the order had previously been cancelled due to an error in payment processing which has now been fixed but has delayed our order until the 21st. The representative stated that it would be impossible to get it there sooner and offered no concessions to us despite our pleading to fast-track the delivery due to this being an error on LOWES' end. The representative stated that we should have received an email confirming the cancellation, which we did not receive and would also be impossible since I have not provided an email address to LOWES until this time. Likewise, the representative was "unable to look up the sent email". The whole experience has been absolutely unacceptable and after our washer and dryer are delivered on the 21st (If that actually happens!) we will no longer be shopping at LOWES and will actively be discouraging others from shopping at LOWES as well. read more

Lowe's on Ridge Road is terrible! I made an online order for pickup. I get to the customer service desk, and the lady working was very nice. She then had to take a call and passed me to some haircut who clearly had no interest in the either the customer portion of his area nor the service. My order was both wrong and incomplete when i arrived, they had grabbed the wrong set of screws and the backer boards I ordered were short one. Doesn't the haircut tell me to go "find the right screws" myself. This was the whole point of ordering online ya jackwagon, I had no interest going through the whole store! I stop and ask another associate where the screws are that I needed and he was more concerned with typing away on his computer. After about 10 minutes I located the screws I needed and I return to the "service" desk. The haircut just types away at his computer, I'm fairly certain he didn't even make eye contact with me. I don't expect somebody to be cheery and bright, but offer some sort of information as I stand there wondering why you have to type so much to exchange screws. This isn't the first time they have screwed something up due to apathy. This store really needs to get their act together. 0/10 would not return read more

Seems like every time I come to this location is extremely hard to find somebody that is willing to help you. I needed a heavy duty padlock with 10 keys made to hand out at my place of work. I asked the girl sitting down at the counter if I could grab the lock and make the copies what she told me I had to pay for the lock first instead of doing everything at once. OK... So that may be their policy. But she barely looked at me and to give me the time of day and went about her business of untangling some string. I bought the padlock and return to have the copies made and she said she was not sure how to make them. After looking like she was bothered for a bit she told me they don't make that kind of tea. I then asked her to find somebody I could speak to that might know what they are talking about. A gentleman came over that was very helpful and he made the keys for me. Now I go back to the cash register to check out and there is three registers with the lights on showing that they are open. Nobody is taking care of two of the registers and one girl has a line with about seven people in it. I noticed two people that work at Lowe's standing by the door laughing and talking to each other. Finally a guy behind me yawls out do either of you run these registers?. The guy looks over like he was bothered and finally goes over to his register it helps out the other customers. Customer service at this place is a complete joke and if it wasn't for the fact it is so close to my home I would not even go here... I much prefer going to Home Depot where at least they will take care of you. By the way the girl that took care of me and was rude her name was nikerett or something along that line. She should not be working at this place cause clearly she is lazy and does not like to help customers out. read more
