What a great store! From the friendly helpful staff( everywhere I walked employees were smiling asking if I needed anything. We stopped in for some replacement toilet hoses... make sure you check the size and length before purchasing. Store is well laid out, very easy to navigate. Easy self key copy station, love how fast this takes. Good size paint section with a color copy machine to recreate your perfect color. Only one assisted checkout inside working with a long line, so I went to the garden checkout. Only one checkout when there used to be two. Max rang up my items and the computer crashed before I could finish my purchase. Left the items as he had to reboot and vowed to shop elsewhere ! read more

Home Depot uses a third party company called solid surface and MSI for granite countertops. Any issues with the third party company, is like talking to a wall. Contacting them, fixing the issue, or getting a resolution isn't in their vocabulary . But pointing fingers, sending 6 employees at once to have a conversation instead of fixing the issue. Is the best you can do. I wish I could give them no stars. I paid home Depot over 10,000.00 for my countertops and not one granite top is what I ordered. My granite looks refurbished. read more

I'm wondering what is Home Depot's customer service mantra? I encountered not 1 employee but 3 with a a very disrespectful and dissatisfied attitude. I said hello excuse me 2x maybe he didn't hear me to one employee who replied yea what's up? I stared at him as if you're gonna help me from across the room ? This took place at the paint counter. He walked over and I showed a pic of some patio furniture I wanted to paint so he said yea when he's finished he would show me. Well i finally asked another employee at same counter .. and the previous employee yelled yea I told her blah blah (name of the product) I said can you show me? He takes me to this very expensive paint! I said I can't use spray paint in a can? He goes oh yea sure. So I felt what's going on here? I'm spraying 2 backyard chairs. Third employee I asked for help with a nut for my kitchen chair never looked up at me or engaged as if I'm bothering him. All 3 denominators were all white men. I'm a black woman. Im going to write a letter as well! Unacceptable. read more

I don't come to this location often, only because it isn't that close to home and we are the kinda people that start a task and have to go shopping while the house is basically torn a part. I always get a little lost at first, because I am a Lowe's shopper by default. The last time I was in here, I got great assistance from an employee! He helped me find potting soil and even carried it to a cart for me. He was fantastic! I really appreciate the self check out in this store. Spacious and it is quick and easy to use. Worst experience ever. I went in at 630pm (an hour and a half before close) spent 10 minutes looking for someone to help me. I finally went to the paint counter and asked them to page someone for me. they did and I waited another 10 minutes. nobody. then I went back on the lookout for someone. saw somebody walking around and asked him to help me. he said he couldn't and that he would find someone. after he "called the pumping guy and his manager" and neither answered he said is just have "figure it out". i then called and asked for help and they finally got a guy from lumber to help me. at this point I was on hold for about 20 minutes and it was almost 730. the guy from lumber helped me well and I found a replacement for what I needed. when I went to check out I had forgotten my wallet. apparently they don't take apple pay so beware. read more

Visited Buffalo Road Store. Had a very disappointing experience. Looking for new flooring for my first floor. Doug seemed unenthusiastic. He remained seated and pointed at products from his chair. When asked for difference in products, expected life, durability ect. He said wood floors weren't worth it. What ever "it" was. Refused to check my math, my attempt to determine square footage. I had drawn a rough sketch with measurements. I was unable to determine whether his attitude was sexist or general lack of training and skill. There are a number of other stores in my area that sell flooring products. So why would I choose a store that was unwilling to be helpful? I have visited multiple stores. And Googled products. I had narrowed my search to just three products. And hoped to make my purchase. Today I will visit competitors. read more

Not a smooth day for this Home Depot. 3pm, beautiful out, and they only had one outdoor cashier. Scooted indoors to avoid the long line outdoors, plus I use a military ID for a discount, which requires managers approval, so I didn't want to further hold up the single line. Indoors wasn't much better. Only a couple lines plus the self service open. The line I chose of course had a customer with an issue. The customer was using a store phone to call whoever. This took appx 10-15 minutes to solve. My question on that is, if there are only a couple lines open, why not suspend the customers order until whatever issue is solved to keep the lines moving efficiently? Then, as said earlier my ID was rejected at both the register and the customer service desk. This was the first time in probably 30+ times of shopping at Home Depot with my card that I've had this issue. Sent an email along to corporate customer service to see if there's some change in policy I was unaware of. read more

Seems like your typical Home Depot on the inside, so I was hoping to find something interesting on the inside, but alas...my high hopes were pretty much deflated when I walked in. I'm not saying it's a terrible place but that it's just Plain Jane. It is well kept and everything was in its place as it should be. The service wasn't terrible and was fairly decent with the lines moving along at an adequate pace, but there should be more lines open. Those registers are just sitting there looking pretty, they need to be used. There is nothing really much else to say then, Home Depot. See if you can take anything from this place or just leave it alone. read more

Would not honor online price from homedepot.com for a paint sprayer. showed another competitors price on line and would not match that either, asked if they would split the difference and would not. Also went to get house paint and they were out of the 5 gallon buckets and would not do 5 of the one gallon for the price of the the 5 gallon or offer any break on that too. Went in to spend close to $1,000 on paint and supplies and walked out disappointed. Manager at the checkout area did not care at all and said you have to do what you got to do when I said I would be taking my business else-wear. read more

went to get car keys replicated, but machine wasn't working so an employee came over to help. had to hold the key in the slot for him, and it would not read, but he had me try it over and over again before I gave up. really expected to just get copies of my key made today, and went home with nothing. read more

Never again! Ordered items from Home Depot, even though it was less expensive through Amazon, because HD said I would have it by May 14th. Part of the order never showed up. Calling every other day since then . . . A total of 5 hours on the phone and I still don't know when my order, will arrive. I have been told that someone would contact me 4 times . . . no one has contacted me. I have 3 case files . . .no one has contacted me. Today, after making three more phone calls and adding another hour and 1/2, I was able to talk to an escalation person, still no resolution, no offer of a way to make it better. I even asked about substituting that something that would get to me asap and was told that they couldn't do that. Here's the kicker, since part of the order had shipped, they wanted me to just cancel the items that hadn't arrived and re-order, paying shipping on the replacement items! I explained how this was causing a hardship as we needed the order before my husband's surgery. I asked how I could contact the top person just to make sure that they know that Home Depot had really let me down and caused a real hardship for my family. Great service, employees are knowledgeable about their assigned area. Also, I have rented tools and equipment, great folks work in this area as well are trained to provide insight on how to use the equipment. First and probably last visit to this store to rent a tool.While I'm standing at the counter the two employees are having a somewhat heated discussion about some previous transaction .
