My puppy started puppy 1 pretty young (11 weeks) but it helped me learn to train. She then started puppy 2 and it helped reinforce good behavior and gave her an opportunity to stay socialized with other people and pups. This is the first dog where I'm responsible for training and I'm very thankful to Valen to helping me mold my dog to where she is now. My pup is part of the family and is lightyears ahead of other dogs without structured training. It exceeded all expectations. Valen really gave me the tools to learn behaviors, be informed on nutrition, and confidently train my dog. In short months, my dog is not destructive anymore, is potty trained, trusts me, and I can safely take her anywhere. Every training was well worth the investment. She greeted me by informing me that my dog's appointment was not until 10:30 a.m., plus there were four other dogs ahead of him. The time was 9:45 a.m. I smiled and said, "I am aware of his appointment time, but I need to check him in before 10:30 or I will not be able to honor the appointment." She got up to check him in, because he had to have his vacinnations verified. I received the call to pick him up around 2:00 p.m. His cut was horrific, and I did not noticed he smelled until we got him into the car. His coat was uneven. It appeared he was cut without a bath. It didn't even appear that the hair from his cut was combed out. I will never bring him back here again. I remember when this place had standards. I brought my baby here for the first time one and a half years ago and the person who cut him was new. The first cut was free because she was in training. I thought she did a superb job with him, but after she took pictures to submit to her trainer, she gave me a call to bring him back in at no charge to do a redo. Unfortunately, I moved from the area shortly after and that groomer is no longer there. I was told when I booked that Brandy was experienced and had a skill for cutting Golden Doodles. This cut will be her last on him. He was cut unevenly, stinked, and looked at hot mess. I paid over $89 for this mess, plus I tipped her. Save your money.
