This was my third SW store I visited yesterday due to the supply chain shortage. I was immediately greeted when I walked and was informed of all my paint options available to me due to the current shortages. The gentleman answered all my questions and helped me find all the supplies I needed to repaint my deck. Great customer service and very knowledgeable! I will definitely be going to this location in the future even though it is a little bit longer of a drive.

There were two workers working, a male worker and a female worker. The female worker had a bit of an attitude when I tried to apply the discount from the company I work at, and wouldn't accept it. The male worker was very kind and knowledgeable about what type and size of paint would be best. Overall, this is a pretty good paint store, and I was able to get a quart of paint for about $17.

I purchased a Stihl RB400 pressure washer in the morning to strip paint off my house, as my old pressure washer wasn't up to the task. I used it for about 20 minutes before all 4 anti vibration mounts sheared off the chassis and the engine and pump fell to the ground. After looking at it, it looks like the mounts were severely over-torqued by Ace during assembly. It was a little frustrating to have that happen to a brand new $850 piece of equipment that's supposed to be top of the line, but whatever, things happen and Stihl has a great warranty right? So I called the store to make a warranty claim, and I was informed they do not have any repair staff on site and would have to ship it to a repair facility. I've owned a lot of Stihl equipment, I've never had an issue with a warranty claim until now. They gave me an estimate of 2 weeks to repair, but since I have a halfway unpainted house now, I told them I just wanted to return it. On the phone they told me no problem and to bring it in. I loaded it up and took it in. When I got there they told me they can't take Stihl returns and I'd have to send it in for repairs. I run all Stihl equipment at my house, and I own a business that runs Stihl equipment in all our crew trucks. I've made plenty of returns and had plenty of warranty claims at other Stihl dealers without ever having a problem. This Ace is either unwilling to help or unable to help, both cases are simply unacceptable. If you'll be purchasing major equipment, purchase somewhere that can stand behind it and make you whole. That's kind of the whole point of paying a premium for Stihl.

We used Platinum Kitchens for a complete renovation. The appeal of Platinum was an all-in-one…read morekitchen company that specializes in just kitchens. Our initial design consultation consisted of pictures and measurements in our home followed by a design presentation with a CAD rendering on the new kitchen. We were given a quote, start date with an eight week timeline for a functional kitchen. When they explained the payment schedule they made us agree to paying full payment at the end of the construction phase and before all punch list items are completed. This was a red flag to me and I should have listened to my gut. We did all the design selections in-house and that process went relatively smooth. This is done over several appointments. Appliances are purchased by the owner and installed by Platinum during the construction phase. They sent us to NorthPoint Appliance in Alpharetta and they were excellent. The construction phase started on schedule. Our project manager/general contractor assigned to us met with us the first day. During the next 8 weeks we didn't see much of him in person on the job site. He wasn't at the house to inspect the work as you would expect. We were left to answer questions from the subs or reach out to him to get the answers. Quality of work ranged from excellent to poor. Some items we were shocked that this was the final product. We were able to get them to fix many of the issues and others they refused to fix. They did deliver a working kitchen at eight weeks as promised but we had an extensive punch list of items that needed to be fixed. After collecting the final payment they assured us they would address these promptly. Our final punch list item was completed 18 months later--RIDICULOUS! In the end they did build us a beautiful kitchen but getting to the finish line was a hassle. The customer shouldn't have to be this hands on using a full service company. Additionally, the construction quality should have been better on a $75K kitchen renovation project. If we had to do another kitchen renovation we would look to use a different company.

Throughout the process they stayed in constant communication and the app was extremely helpful to see upcoming sub contractor appointments and progress. Samantha (Sam) did a great job laying out the space to maximize our smaller kitchen area and make it feel roomier. Juli was so helpful with design suggestions and we quickly got everything picked out from the cabinets, to counters and backsplash to fixtures. Our project manager, Austin, kept things on track and stayed in good communication with us via texts and visits to check on the work. We also appreciated the weekly check in calls from Lauren - she was always a pleasure. She also arranged for replacement for both of our light fixtures when one was broken by a contractor - we didn't even have to request that Platinum cover the cost of both - they just did it. They lie about what's in stock until after you've paid, they lie about delivery times, don't answer the phone for 30-40 minutes, and when you finally get someone, it's as if they have an IQ of an apple. When a place has great customer service, you can forgive a few mistakes. When they have no customer service and lie to customers, they need to feel the weight of their misdeeds. Now, I will hire an attorney, sue them, and do all I can to publicly warn people never to do business with them. Caveat Emptor.
