The staff here are bend-over-backward helpful and always so patient as I ask a torrent of questions. They keep record of every can of paint I buy, as well as the room I'm using it for, so it's a snap to go back in and say "I need a gallon of the paint for the bathroom" and they mix right up for me. Benjamin Moore paints aren't cheap, but they are absolutely the *best* paints, they hold up beautifully, and cover better than any other paint I've ever used. For me, the combination of that quality with folks who know their stuff inside and out, and who are friendly and helpful to boot, is one that is hard to beat.

To our surprise, Austin-Briggs in New Britain, Pa. popped up. We never knew they were there! I called - polite, friendly response by phone. We drove over - welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable customer service with no shortage of products. The guys behind the counter were so nice and really knew there stuff. This is our new go-to paint store. One caution: their roadside sign is small and you can miss it easily. They are directly across the road from Giant. Keep an eye out or you'll miss them. And Austin-Briggs should not be missed!

This is business done the old-fashioned way - very personalized service and top-of-the-line paint and accessories. There's a woman there named Betsy who has worked there for many years. She thoroughly knows the product line and is able to make the correct recommendation for the product you need. They are Benjamin Moore paint dealers, so be aware that these paints cost a little more than the junk you get a the 'Depot or Lowes. But they are well worth the extra bucks because Benjamin Moore paints go on a whole lot easier and last a whole lot longer. In the long-run the Ben Moore paint is cheaper because it saves so much labor, and your project will look better for more years. Big collection of wall paper and paint samples to take home. Highest recommendation. I hate to paint, but if I gotta, this is where I go first.
