Well, the employee tried, but it came out too dark. After several attempts, I took the paint home and painted one wall to see how it would look. I was yes & no for awhile trying to let it grow on me. However, it never did. On taking the paint back, there was nothing they could do to get the color I really wanted, but Store Manager, Eric Markman, ended up giving me another 5 gal of the color I really wanted. He didn't have to because he didn't sell the paint to me, but he did anyway. I was very grateful with Eric's generous offer. Great customer service deserves repeat business and I will always go to Eric at Sherwin-Williams Granby, CO for my paint from now on. Great job, Eric. You rock the Rockies!

I knew it needed a deep base but after 12 days waiting for the "ordered" base to come in, the asst. manager actually said he was unsure of the order history and then said it did not come in the delivery. Basically he informed me that it was a minor order and this is what I should expect.

So I called Summit with all the information and talked to Roberto. He said bring the cans to the store and he would take care of me. I drove down and met Roberto who said that he is managing the place now. I showed him the cans with summit labels with my name and dates and photos of the peeling deck. He refused to talk about the warranty. He just wanted to sell me more deck paint saying that I should try an oil based paint. Frustrating experience. A real change from the previous owner and his wife. Wasted an hour and gas.

The last headboard that took 9 months was a light gray and we ordered the darker shade. All of our order was for a vacation rental miles away from our home so we went through wasted time waiting for our delivery as well as the mileage expense.
