contract stating trash must be collected into bins.

I spent $400 on the space for them to only set up half of the room like they were supposed to and the floors were soaking wet when we arrived so we had to remop their floors. I was then told on top of that that i would have to take all the trash to the dumpster despite the CONTRACT stating otherwise. the owner was snooty and rude. me wanting to get what i paid for under contract wasn't okay, and they weren't going to "let me rent again" like that would EVER happen, bc i didn't want to do THEIR job. this place is a joke. for that kind of money it should not be that run down. would NOT use this space bc of new owner and her attitude over the previous conract that she sent me. doesn't deserve any stars. the photos show the contract stating that we must put trash in bins. but katelyn graham the new owner said if i didn't still take them to the dumpsters then i would be "put into a file" not allowed back. haha these people are a joke. If you book monthly with them though, like a local church my family attends, then you will be treated with respect must need the gig. the first words the owner said when i had a question about them not doing what they have in the policy, she came in after not speaking to anyone, and the first thing said better us was by her saying "you don't have to be so snappy" meanwhile i hadn't spoken to her yet. so she got the attitude she was looking for and the one worker there who didn't move for 4 hours got paid for making us do her job which really puts the cherry on top. i would avoid if i were any of you.

This is the "small pavilion." It has about 8 picnic tables, a small grill, a playground and lots of parking.

Despite using the code that was emailed to us, we could not open the front door. I called the contact number and was sent an alternate code that worked. We stayed on in the Turret Suite on the third floor. Our emailed code worked to open the room lock. The room was clean and spacious. The pro of the room is the drinks and snacks provided, but unfortunately, there was a lot more misses: - The Turret bathroom looked like it fit into the period style with a claw foot tub, but it was not easy to use. The flimsy pipes made for turning on the tub difficult. Soap and shampoo was on a table two feet away from the tub. The raised claw foot tub made for a dangerous slippery situation to reach for soap and to get in and out of the tub even with a grab bar. - The toilet comes with old plumbing. Make sure to flush twice, if not three times, as it lacks flushing water pressure. - There are no side tables next to the bed, so phones and other personal items lands on the windowsill away from the bed. - Two huge lamps hung over the bed that we had to move to avoid head bumps. - The windows faced the street, but the slatted window blinds made for a bright room to sleep. The house was clean and we were able to use the common sitting areas downstairs. It would have been nice, especially for the price point, to have a pot of fresh coffee available in the huge kitchen downstairs or even fresh cookies or other baked treats. Heck, for the price, breakfast should have been served since they have a huge unused dining room.

They have provided you with a lot of cute amenities like local beers, little snacks, k cups, and makeup remover wipes. Very well maintained and decorated. We stayed in the room with the detached bathroom which was smaller but still had everything we needed.

Poor communication & I don't find them truthful. I was told no decor would be seen until two weeks prior to wedding [after signing the contract]. We also asked for a list of what they purchased with our retainer fee and they conveniently were not required to provide those details to us based on their contract language. For these reasons it was important to exhaust all options & resolve planning related concerns with the reverend & wife duo. After $3,000+ dollars provided up front, no wedding or event (nothing to show for the money spent), and a failed court case we finally received a $1,000 settlement. Due to the pandemic, it took over a year for my family and I to close this traumatic chapter. Was it worth it? Not really. I won't get my wedding day back, the beginning of "happily ever after" will always be tainted by this experience. Lesson learned--proceed with caution with Pokey D's. (Consider using Central Arkansas Entertainment though for any packages they may have that you need. Working with them was a stress free experience.)

The owner insulted me, hurt my grandmothers feelings, prevented me from taking the pictures I wanted of my family coming back down the aisle by moving my photographer's supplies, and much more. When talking with her the first time to set everything up, she was pleasant enough but for the rehearsal and wedding, she was terribly rude. She asked for the groom's grandparents twice for the line up after being informed many times that the groom's mother and grandparents had passed away. The staff also ate the food at the buffet before all guests had been able to go through the line. I absolutely would not suggest having any special event here.
