Stores closing for good or moving away to another location in Tracy, The only anchor stores will be Target, Burlington, Cinemark Theater, and Hobby Lobby after Macy's closes soon. There is still a food court but half of the food locations are closed too. Selection of types of stores is limited. This mall has an arcade which has some fun games to play. Can be expensive to purchase things especialy the way things are right now. So I usually only buy things on sale. read more

This mall was super sad. Most of the stores are closed. It's like a ghost town. Went through the mall side to try to enter into the Target and they had it gated off and the door was closed. Very weird. 2 stars for their clean bathrooms! read more

This mall is dying because the owners are cheap and I will die on that hill. A dozen stalls in the women's bathroom and only two are operable. 8 sinks and only one works. There's literally a poster advertising the opening of Olive Garden, which has been open for at least 10 years. There have been no upgrades or improvements made to the building at all and most of the stores are t shirt shops or stores with items that match SHEIN quality. The only thing keeping this place barely alive is the theater and Target. Such a bummer because back when I was a kid this was the best mall. read more

Review is strictly for PICTURES WITH SANTA at West Valley Mall. Let me say, WAYYYY better than whatever they have here in Stockton at Weberstown Mall (that Santa is literally a joke.. sorry not sorry. The set up sucks, pictures suck, they don't care at all about how your pictures look, staff rude, just a complete mess!) However, West Valley Mall's Santa was great! Staff was amazing. 2 young ladies, super nice, let me look at pictures and even allowed me to switch my daughter's pose when I didn't like it and they didn't mind.. then again, it was a dead zone! Literally hardly anyone around.. on a Wednesday, 6pm, 5 days before Christmas? You'd think it would be packed. Then again, it is the Valley! Upon walking in all I noticed was a Cinema, Food Court, Auntie Annie's Pretzels, they even have an arcade I missed the name of it.. I think it started with a "T" looked fun! Not sure what stores.. although I know there is a Target next door unsure if it's apart of the mall or is separate entrance. West Valley Mall is a pretty new-looking mall that is also slowly becoming a thing of the past! Most of the stores and restaurants are closed. Replaced by some kid's pay places, adult's and kid's exercise places.. etc. The shopping mall still has a Macy's in there. But it turns into a clearance store without hardly name brands. I don't know if Macy's will keep this store open for how much longer! I hope West Valley Mall will be able to transform into something that will attract more people soon. read more

As a local I think we can all say, we deserve a better mall. Having a new and improved mall like the one in Modesto will put us on the Map for travelers to come to. Super outdated mall with limited hours. Every time I visit the mall I feel a little bit sadder. It seems that each time there are additional businesses that have either gone out of business or moved out of West Valley Mall. The food court is pretty sad, the doors to the outside have been broken for months, multiple stores are closed, the place just seems to be limping by. Hopefully it will not close so we can continue to go to the movies there, but I am not super optimistic about it's chances. read more

This place sucks. I would give ZERO STARS if this was an option. One there's no shops. Two, hours absolutely suck from 11-7. Like what happen to the original hours from 10-8??? I can't even go shopping I work 7 days a week and I only have the 9-1030am hour to get all my shopping done at my lunch hour and a half. I can't even think about going after I get off work it's already closed since I'm not even off of work till after 710pm. COVID is not the answer to anything anymore people. A decent food court in West Valley Mall. A burger spot that has a cool cow logo - Moo Moos Burger Barn, Hot Dog on Stick. That pretzel place... No need to go to the heavily advertised Red Robin. They have signs throughout the mall trying to lure you out. Lots of seating and food choices. Better food options than at the more popular San Francisco Outlets in Livermore. read more

It has been such a long time since I have been here at this mall. So much has changed. And I mean so much! Victoria's Secret/Victoria's Secret Pink is my favorite store to shop at and now the store is empty. Nestle's Tollhouse Stand isn't there anymore either. There have been some upcoming stores with unique clothing and some stores still standing. And most of the stores like Zumiez, Spencers, Bath & Body Work, Charlotte Russe, Shoe Palace and Outfitters that I have shopped at this mall have been nothing but great service to us. They would go above and beyond to help us with whatever we need. The prices of the items at this mall abd with their on going sales aren't all too bad. I hope they will bring back Victoria's Secret/Pink or at least come up with some kind of lingerie store for women. Hopefully even at the food court a restaurant like Jollibee or a new kind of restaurant to fit at the mall. The reason for my amount of stars given was because today? Today was the first day I have seen so many stores that have closed down, it was so disappointing to see. This mall isn't how it used to be anymore. read more

I went there to do the Christmas Angel Tree and they did not have it due to COVID. Understandable But While leaving the Mall. I have to agree with a lot of the other less than stellar reviews for this Mall, where it does have some potential it really does lack any kind of appeal. The store's which I regularly enjoy visiting in this Mall I can count on one hand and given that there are probably around 40 units that's a really sad percentage. The store's are not all that varied, the food court sucks, the Movie Theater is tiny and no business really lasts all that long here. What West Valley really needs is some life injected into it, walking the floors everything just seems so dull and boring. Yup. All the reviews are true. This place is blah. Meh. Forgettable. My family and I went on a Saturday, and I was expecting to circle around to find parking. Nope. I found parking about 100 feet from the front door of Macys. We walk around the mall, and it felt like it was 10:00am on a Monday morning. There were stores with the gates down, empty spaces for lease. My daughter wanted to find a place where she could run around and play. We looked around and I saw a sign for Softplay area near the Target. Went down there and it was literally two small structures (i think one was a truck) that doubled as a small slide. But leave it up to the kids to make their own fun I guess. Just an overall sleepy feel to this mall. Compare this to the Stoneridge Mall or the one in Concord. Even those arent the best, but still no comparison. I guess I'm spoiled since I used to live at the largest outdoor mall in the US - Ala Moana in Hawaii. read more

To be fair, I'm going to compare this to the Stockton mall. Since I'm from the Bay Area, it won't be fair to compare it to malls further away. Okay so I think the Tracy mall is super clean and welcoming. Lots of parking. Here is my issue, they don't have enough name brand stores, Gap, Old Navy, Forever 21, H&M, etc... Noticed they don't have kiosks in the middle of the store either. There were a lot of empty shops. Made me sad, because I know that more people would shop here if they had better stores. I really liked their "Tilt," a place for kids to play. So necessary when mama is shopping. Plus the beautiful carousel, nice touch. The movie theater has a cute marquee. Hometown buffet is located on the outside of the mall. Overall, I like this mall but don't love it. read more

Still 3 stars, but the new Macy's is nice. I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way to Stoneridge to use my Macy's coupons. And the reason for 3 stars despite the new Macy's, expanded Victoria's Secret and Charlotte Russe: People still using Target carts INSIDE THE MALL! i went here and got Annie's pretzels, i had got pizza bits when i ate those it tasted to fucking disgusting. wetzel pretzel is so much better and idc if they are the same thing it but it's much better then wtv this was bc the bread was dry like do u want me to die? and then the cheese tasted like i jst ate expired cheese the only thing that was good was the pepperoni, and then it was to hard to chew like i better have a good jawline cause it was hard to chew i want it chewy like wetzel. i think it's best if u don't get it bc it's a waste of money and it's not even good read more

This mall is so bad, it's demonic. The place is dirty, dark, and filled with stores that make you wonder if their merchandise fell off the back end of a truck. Seriously, how ghetto is it when stores can't afford their signage letters so they have names such as "Tux 4 U." They have a huge food court, but that's about it. Everything else is horrible. Some of the unoccupied storefronts have merchandise or signs for Best Buy in their windows. The one cool thing is that the anchor store for this mall is... wait for it... Target. HA! Yes, you can walk into Target, right from the mall. It's also the only mall where you have a single mom and her litter of kids riding through the mall in a Target shopping cart. The parking lot isn't very big, but you can always find parking. I think that's because most people shopping here ride the bus. If you can manage, refuse to go to West Valley Mall and head somewhere else. read more

This mall looks like it's lost in time... it's bleak and has mostly empty vacant buildings. The Macy's is a single story TINY lack luster shop- with zero selection. I think Target is the only draw here. Very sad. The only people here seem to be senior citizens who utilize the wide open shop less space to do their morning walking. It's the saddest emptiest mall I've ever been to. Get with it Tracy! You've got almost 100,000 people here wanting to shop, but forced to go elsewhere because you bring us this pathetic excuse for a mall. read more

West Valley Mall... The place businesses come to die. There is always one wing that seems either vacated or filled with "brief appearance" stores. No longer a book store... A department store located on the most dead side of the mall... A poor selection at the food court. It's worth the drive to any other city. read more

wow this has got to be one of my favorite malls or maybe I just came on a great day. I just had a feeling I had to check this place out. Its not too big but they make the most of it. There's all kinds of different foods you don't really see at other malls. I love the selection. They also have a huge arcade which I love because I've really found that arcades are rare these days. I like the giant sized chess game too , that was really cool. They have an animal rescue and they also have the amazing reptile store. OMg these reptiles were the hugest. A store like that is very rare. I am not talking about your average frogs, snakes, and turtles. I am talking that and super sized. I was pretty hypnotized by the cool majestic reptiles. If you like shoes they sure have lots and lots of shoes stores. They have tons of places for kids too. I was amazed at how many kid and family things are here. Don't just leave your kid in the kid areas tho. I saw some parents do that and it really worried me. Personally I'd suggest to keep your eye on your kids. I thought the target they have at this mall is huge. You can get your haircut at this mall, you can get a massage, you can even get your taxes, and then ride on the carousel. Maybe even see a movie after. I got coffee for only a buck at this mall. It was good too. There's so many ideas that come too mind. This is a great place to look for gifts too . There's soo many unique random places for gifts. There's also a victorias secret if you wanna get something a little sexy. They had a cool little carnival going on outside with games and all sorts of rides . I hope this mall stays around for awhile cuz its really cool read more

Don't go to the new sports shop in the Tracy mall . My son (25 years old )was jumped by the employees after asking about how authentic the merchandise was. (It's not authentic) The owners did nothing while he was being held down and kicked in the face and back . The owners husband also grabbed my son too . They chased him into the mall where my son finally got away . They even took the merchandise he bought at another store in the mall . This is crazy ! How does this happen ? I hope that more big name retailers begin to consider moving here now that so many people are migrating to the Tracy area. I was spoiled with the number of shopping options I had in Los Angeles (Santa Clarita) before moving up here. I've done more online shopping now than I've ever done before. There are some basics that keep me coming to this lackluster mall such as Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Target, and even Big 5. I've shopped at Famous Footwear several times and visited the nail salon and the brow shop. My children love the play areas and Kanga Zoom is their new fav place to go. The theater is great! Reserved seating is great and the seats are comfortable. Being that this is the only theater in Tracy though I find it's always best to order tickets way in advance, especially on Tuesdays when there's discounted admission. This mall is usually quiet, not many people shopping, and there are many closed shops making it quite an uneventful trip. You literally come to get what you need and then you leave. The expectant mother/senior/veteran parking is great for those to whom it applies however the parking lot is hardly ever full. Hopefully with all the new homes being built in the area, more businesses will decide to move in this mall and breathe some life into it. No one wants to have to drive any amount of time in this traffic just to do some shopping. read more

It's a bit sad that the mall is in transition. There were not many people there today, and I thought that odd for Saturday afternoon. I entered through the food court area and they had various places I'd seen elsewhere, but nothing really memorable. Unfortunately, that was most of the mall--not memorable. I found the smallest Macy's ever. Target was good, but they could be anywhere. I've seen a couple of them attached to malls, but they're on a bigger scale. I talked to someone selling phone accessories and he was telling me about Pleasanton and Modesto having bigger malls. I'd passed Vintage Fair on my way up SR 99 on Friday, but it seemed such a long way back. Then again, they have an Apple Store. The good thing is that they didn't have a Burlington Coat Factory. I've noticed that any mall with one of those seems to be almost completely dead with a group of no name stores you might not see anywhere else in the country. read more

Macy's here doesn't have many high end products that stone ridge mall has. There is no Sephora,Apple,nyx or lulu lemon here as against stone ridge mall. read more

5/29/14 - This is another place I have passed more than a million times. But yesterday I decided was the day. Walked inside my favorite store, Macy's and was in heaven. They have a nice shoe and purse section--even had some Michael Kor's purses that you don't find in Stockton. The mall was quiet until after 6. People started coming in especially to the food court. The Steakery & HomeTown Buffet seemed to get the most business. The others were just there. I noticed the pizza place Sbarros had gone out of business. I didn't visit too many of the stores, but I did make a little purchase at Monique's Boutique. The cashier was helpful in assisting me with my purchase and seemed over-thrilled to have sold an item. Unfortunately, I did not see any kind of security in the mall or outside in the parking lot. The plus side is at least Tracy's mall is all in one building including a movie theater Stockton has two malls side by side, which never made sense to me. So if you want to go to Macy's & your at Dilliard's you have to get in your car and drive across the street. Managers of both malls should get together and fund an overpass or tunnel-like function so you can either walk or ride the electronic escalator like they have at some airports.
