The store is larger than the one we customarily visit in Simsbury, so I didn't feel cramped walking around alongside a fair number of fellow shoppers. It's very neat and well organized inside and seemed to have a lot of merchandise. I saw the usual dishes, housewares, women's and men's shoes (including some gorgeous Air Jordans), shirts, blouses, outerwear, pants and jeans, plus sportscoats and men's suits ($25 or so). Some of the more unusual things I saw was an impressive collection of "I Love Lucy" memorabilia, and hiding among the audio CD's was a William Hung CD! He made quite a splash on American Idol 20 years ago, and if you're too young to know who he is, go check him out on YouTube. I bought a long sleeve white dress shirt, a red tie, and my wife bought a long sleeve top. After the 35% discount we paid an obscene $16 for everything. Yes, quite the bargain indeed. PRO TIP Parking is a bit of a toss-up, their lot is micro-sized, so you'll probably end up parking on a side street like we did.

Located in West Hartford Center next Cuzzi's, this small shop packs in some big names. They sell…read moremen's and women's clothing, a much larger portion is dedicated to women's clothing. I wouldn't really know about that segment but they carry some of the latest "trendy" brand names as well as some of the high quality names in fashion for both men and women. It's the only place in the Hartford area that I know of that sell AG, Ernest Sewn, Nudie, ect.... The down side to this place is their small store, they have one in Madison, CT too, but I've never been, but apparently it is twice the size. The small store limits the selection but I still always make a point to stop in and check out what they have. Unfortunately they are getting rid of some of their more trendy brands for men due to lack of sales. They have denim with quality brands( more than any other place in Hartford that I know of) but they still do not and don't plan on selling selvedge (sometimes spelled selvage) denim which is a bit upsetting to some of us denim nerds. They cater more too late 20's to mid 30's due to the demographic of the area and some of the more hipster clothing is on its way out. Also, watch out for their prices, this is no thrift store, they carry brand name items which while sometimes better quality they are on the expensive end of the spectrum. This said, they still carry some quality brands and I make a point to stop in there every now and then.
