NO REFUNDS. I bought a couple of items here and went to return them for a refund 24 hours later only to be told that their policy is NO REFUNDS. It is not posted in the store, which is against the law. The fact that "It says it on the receipt," according to the salesperson, does you no good, because...by the time you see it, you have already bought the merchandise, and...THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. If this has happened to you at the hands of this uncouth clothier, I urge you to let the Better Business Bureau know AND file a complaint with the CT Department of Consumer Affairs as I have. Sales clerk did not quote total of purchase, nor did total appear at any time on machine where I input my card info. Sales clerk says he is not the owner. Owner says the sales clerk is the owner. Horrible experience at this store. I paid for an item they forgot to give me and when I asked for a refund they refused! Went to get a suit for my son for prom. Bought the suit, shirt and bow tie. They bagged it up and we left. Day of prom my son is getting ready and there is no bow tie. Call the store and speak to the owner. They have it. It was left in the dressing room. Ok to late to get it so I ask for a refund. Owner is obviously not happy says he is to busy to do the refund so he will call me tomorrow. Of course no call so I call them on Monday. The person who answers has not been trained on refunds so I need to call back later. Call again the next day. Can't do it only the owner can - ask me to call back. Call again and now I'm told it's my fault I left it there and I can not get a refund. I explain again you packaged the suit from the dressing room and told us it was in the suit pocket. It was not. I didn't forget. You never gave me the item. I simply want my money back for an item I was not given but I had already paid for. Refuse to help me. They are so happy to take your money but refuse to help when they make a mistake. No integrity, no customer service. They do not care one bit about their customers and sadly they do not care about repeat business because I will not be back. read more

My son and I came to the store looking for a suit for his prom. We purchased a $600 suit and was supposed to pick up Saturday, I called them to cancel because my father was in the ICU for COVID in the Philippines and in critical condition , that we need to go back home and won't be able to attend the prom. They would not issue any refund. I ended up paying the suit that we never got. This is store is all about money. No compassion, they don't care about their customer even if you are dying. I have purchased 2 suits from Ramani's in the Meriden Mall. They sell a quality product and have decent tailors on staff. Their garments do not have prices and I felt as if I was being taken advantage of. I own quite a few suits, and am aware of quality versus cheap materials. I would consider their suits on the higher price side for the craftsmanship of the garments. An hour after purchasing the suits, which I was told would be ready for pickup a week later, I called to cancel my order. I was told they could not refund me of my $900 purchase and would have to take the garments, even though they had not tailored them. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this and they immediately discounted the suits by $300. Decent suits, but overall a shady feel. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH BUSINESS EVER. DO NOT GO HERE. Disorganized, nothing is completed on time, and their staff just make excuses. Actually asked me to contact groomsman's over and over just because they didn't have they tickets in order. Had some out of state groomsman's so we asked if we could get their suits fitted and tailored in time for them to try on while they were in town. Came back on the designated day and they had 2 of the 4 suits ready. Sent out one of the suits completed unchanged after it was marked. Told us they overnighted a new suit to groomsman....one week later we had to call back multiple times and were told it would be there 9pm the next day. This is an until ores suit 2 weekdays before a wedding. Are you serious? They obviously sent it knowing that it might not be able to get tailored in time. Well we did find a tailor that actually knew how to work with a deadline...but on my wedding day I noticed that it was a different suit from the other groomsman. If you care at all about integrity, deadlines, and organization then you need to stay away from Ramanis. read more

My son needed items sewn onto his military uniforms. He showed what he wanted only to find out they were all wrong when he went to pick them up. He was told the mistakes would be corrected and the uniforms would be ready for pick up the following day. My son went back today only to find out that although a few things were corrected, other items were still wrong. He now has to go to another seamstress, and pay mor money after paying over 100 here. read more

I was in need of repair of a few pairs of slacks. Went and spoke with the same stress that they use. She was absolutely amazing. Her technique her quality of work. Is absolutely remarkable.
