1st X writing a review but this is so ridiculous I had to I wish I would have read the reviews B4 going in to this ghetto a$$ Store, I knew btr 2 but I didnt have time to run to another store and it turned out to be a mistake. I bought a pair of $100 shoes and wore them IN MY HOUSE for bout 20 min. and mind you one of the shoes was the the one being displayed. I realized they just didnt feel right a lil too big. so I put them back in box took em back 2 days later w/ receipt I work and couldn't go right back. And they wouldnt take them back saying they had a crease in them and all this b.s. I think they are desperate for sales and wont return items. DONT GO THERE!! Its kinda sad that Ill have to keep my money @ Stoneridge where they actually take care of the customer instead of thinking it's cool to have some youngsters working there who dont get trained to be professional and play highly inappropriate rap song talking about Fuc!n# with all kind of nasty videos on with lil kids in the store...Come on man the owners can do btr than this If they had a clue they would make WAY more $$ instead... This is the most ratchet sheikh I've ever been too The workers there was just standing around doing not a dam thing. I went in there hoping to find some baby chucks for my twin's nieces birthday gift they didn't really had much toddler shoes . I asked one of the worker for help it took her 10 mins. And on top of that another 10 mins for them to look for the shoes in the back. Came in on Christmas Eve. The service was fast and friendly. I got in and out within 5 minute, I also new what I wanted. I spotted the hats on last week. This store have good customer services. Let me just start off by saying, I gave myself a couple of days to (cool off) write this review to be as unbiased as possible of the events that occurred and to warn others to be careful. I have attached the receipts, picture of shoes we picked up and of course my birthday shoes not being there (5y). Furthermore, I have a voice-memo recording in my iPhone of what happened after we found out Hazel had messed up the order. Please contact me if you'd like a copy! On December 8th of this year, my boyfriend Juan called in this Shiekh store in Bayfair to special order: Size 13.5 for my 7' 5" brother Size 9 for my little brother in high school Size 8.5 for my husband Size 5y for myself She asked us to write down the sizes in a piece of paper, so she could do 2 at a time because all together could not be ordered. While we waited around for her to order the shoes, we noticed that they in fact had the 5.5 in stock, so we decided to look at them and ask if I could try them on, she said no so we gave them back and kept the order of 5y instead since it's my size and it always has been. She took a total of 29 minutes to order the shoes because she was fooling around with another coworker asking him, "you don't even know my name... Whaaaat, I'm not gonna tell you my name." Chewing gum loudly, laughing and not paying attention to what she was doing. She told us how much it was and to just swipe the card or insert chip. She handed us the receipts not telling us who's receipt who's is, since my husband just paid for his shoes and mine since it was my birthday on Monday, while I paid for the other 2 pairs. At the end of the transactions, she grabbed the paper we wrote the sizes in and threw it away telling us the shipment will arrive sometime around Monday she would call us when they would arrive to go get them. When we got to the counter, we told her we are here to pick up the shoes. She asks, "wait didn't you guys pickup the shoes already?!" I got worried and said of course not! She then whispered to the manager Jose that I took home the 5.5 that I saw that day they were getting ordered. They said they were going to check the cameras because I could have stolen them. They in fact did and saw we gave back the shoes and I told her, "I did not take the 5.5 because you did not let me try on. What is the point of me ordering a shoe that is in stock at the store having my birthday be around the corner? Instead I ordered my shoes size 5y, wrote it down for you and before we left you went over all the sizes with us remember?" Aside of calling me a thief, manager Jose and coworker have the audacity to tell me, "There is no size 5y ordered that day instead if 5.5 and also we don't carry the 13.5 size only 13 or 14." I got very aggravated at that point, because Hazel not only messed up my birthday present, she also messed up my older brother's Christmas gift by ordering the smaller size that I did not mention. We not only confirmed with her before we left, she assured us and saw the sizes we wrote down on the paper. If I knew there was no 13.5, I would have ordered the size 14 instead because 13 DOES NOT FIT HIM. What also got me mad was that I was willing to let go of my anger and stay quiet and order my shoes because Jose the manager apologized for her mistake many times and said he will assure me he will order the 5y ASAP to arrive very fast so I can get my shoes as quickly as possible. I was tired we had already been here for 45 minutes, I wanted to leave. When I see Hazel turn around and call me a bitch to another coworker saying other things to him while he stared at me and laughed. The gentleman then said to her, "Hazel you are on fire ahhaah." Aside of this being beyond rude and lack class, it's appalling that the lack of good customer service in this store is non-existing. Hazel is not representing herself, she is representing a company when she wears the uniform and clocks in. And I truly believe that a reputable company like this would not let this type of behavior go unpunished. But I was wrong. Not only do I have to wait 3-5 weeks to receive my birthday present (5y shoes) but my brother will no longer get his shoes because they are now sold out, all because of a very rude and uncapable worker in the name of Hazel that could not do her job properly. Very disappointed and will never come back to this establishment again. And depending how long I must wait to get these shoes and if I'm able to get my brother's size 14 as well, it will determine whether I will go to any Shiekh anywhere again. I recommend you avoid this Shiekh as much as possible! The fact of the matter is, there are a lot of Hazel's in all Shiekh shoe stores because the company does not care about its customers but to save a quick buck and hire incompetent staff. Save the headache of dealing with poorly service, mistakes and go to another much better establishment that will listen to your every shoe need. read more

The customer service isn't horrible but it's definitely not good. I've been coming here for years and they never hire anyone with good customer service. They all sit there and talk to each other. They will speak IF YOU SPEAK FIRST and it's never very friendly. They don't really help you and you have to go up to them to get the shoe because they are not in any way going to come up to you and ask if you need help. They carry a lot of clothes I guess, but they don't have a lot of choices with shoes especially men's. read more

seriously the most ghetto shop at bayfair, and that's saying a lot. It's bayfair mall I don't expect much but the workers at sheikh are horrible. They act like you're bothering them when you ask them to try on a pair of shoes because they're in the middle of a conversation with their co workers. Then they take their sweet time to actually end the convo and go upstairs to get you a pair of shoes. There's not a hint of professionalism in the place, it's all clowns working the store. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went in to buy shoes and no one even looked at me to help. I seen one employee working the register, one helping a customer and he other three were having conversations with each other instead of helping customers. So many missed opportunities for a store with a great layout. If your customer service sucks, your layout means nothing. All employees including the manager need to take a training course in help to provide customer service. If I was the manger, heads would roll. If you don't want to work, thats fine, please quit and do us all a favor. There are way too many people who get it versus those at Sheikh (Bayfair) who don't. 1 star is 1 too many. read more

Horrible customer service , all workers wearing mask under their nose when the sign on their door clearly states that no one will be allowed in if they wear their mask that way. Asked for a size 9 shoe and they came out with an 8.5 almost bought the shoes with two different sizes in the box . Made us wait for almost 30 minutes while looking for the stocks and informed us that they cannot find the shoes. Why would they display the shoes in the shop floor if they don't have any stocks. There were few other customers with the same waiting experienced like us only to be told that they have the shoes but different color, no stocks etc... We won't be back here ever! When I called to find out if this location had a certain shoe the woman placed me on hold twice for a total of 30 mins each time. I almost gave up when a man got on the phone and told me to get the sku before I could give it to him I was put on hold. The original lady answered and told me to email the sku for the shoe. Why would I email the store the sku to find out if a pair of certain shoes where there that I wanted to buy with REAL MONEY. Then she hung up leaving me confused as to what to do to find out if the shoes were in the store. The price online was $89.00. Does Sheikhs not want my money, strange I thought stores that sold goods to customers want money. I decided to go to the store because I wanted to purchase these shoes as a gift. When I arrived at the store at Bayfair Mall the terrible customer service continued. I asked them if the shoe was in stock and they said yes, but they would not honor the price that I showed them on my cell phone from your WEBSITE! What store does this, different prices online; any store that you go to if you show them that the price differs online, they honor their online price. I left and went to Footlocker to receive excellent customer service and I spent $300 there, could of went to you. Oh well step up your game and train your employees for better customer service. People spend alot on shoes. If you are a customer do not go here BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. You will leave here feeling like you they (Sheikh employees) do not want to be bothered by you or your money. I wish I could give this place no stars! My fiancé and I went here last week to buy two specific pairs of shoes before a trip we were going on. My fiancé knew this location had them in stock and he told me I could pick out a pair too. We got their right before closing and rushed there to buy them before the store closed. It was 8:51 and they closed at 9 but the door was already locked and my fiancé asked through the door I thought you closed at 9? So they opened the door and the clerks were extremely rude. Why are they locking the doors before the scheduled closed time? My fiancé found the two pairs he wanted and asked for a size while I looked around. There was one other customer in there who was being treated nicely but the clerks would not even greet us. I asked for disposable socks and they only gave me one. How am I supposed to try both shoes? My fiancé asked me if I grabbed the pair he asked for because they disappeared and I said no. The clerk took it back before he could try it on and put it on the counter. The clerk would not even speak to me when I asked for the socks so I told my fiancé loud enough for the clerk to hear I think they are frustrated we came in at this time. So they knew we felt tension from their attitudes and that is when my fiancé said lets go. I asked him why bc he wanted those shoes that night at he said he would never give his business to any company that would treat him that way. We were about to spend close to $300 there. We will never go back or spend any money there again. The service was awful and we were gone by 9:01 maybe 9:02 at the latest. They really need to learn better customer service. read more

When we walked into the shoe store, it was pretty great. My son picked out a pair of shoes that he liked and was ready for checkout, then I picked out three shoes, and the employees kept on saying that the other side of the shoes was missing or gone. I got upset and started to complain. After I picked out a few other pair of shoes, we were ready for checkout. A few seconds later an employee took our shoes and put them back at the storage closet. I told them to get the shoes over here and they claimed they sold it already. I told them that I saw them taking it back inside. And they went back to check but when we said that shoe over there, they purposely point to another shoe. It took so long until they gave it to us and they then became very angry. I then got very upset and had to wait an extra thirty minutes. Then the employees laughed at us and starting saying jokes. I then got upset about it and payed. The lady at the cashier register can hardly even type on the keyboard due to her very long nails. Many people were waiting for a super long time. Overall I don't think she is fit for this job. All of the employees are very slow and not careful, and the store is very very very messy with shoes everywhere and is really hard to find a pair of shoes. Just to find the pair of shoes it took us super long. We only wanted four pairs of shoes and had to wait three hours. I honestly don't think you guys should come to this store. read more
