My daughter walked into your store today with the intention of buying some shoes. When she found a pair she was interested in, she asked if there were socks available so she could try the shoes on with; the sales woman opened a brand new bag of men's socks and gave her a pair. The first pair didn't fit right, so she looked for another pair. Those didn't work out either. My daughter then told the sales woman, sorry, but "no sale." The sales woman then told my daughter that she "had to charge her for the socks, because it's all on camera that she opened the bag for her to try on the shoes." I'm sorry, but that sounds like extortion to me! She charged my daughter $17.99 for a pair of men's tube socks, that don't even fit her!! She's not married nor does she have a brother! I live in Manteca but drive to this store only! This locations customer service by far surmounts the rest. I make special orders often and always revive my shoes in a timely matter. The store is clean and well Managed. The staff is upbeat and friendly! Staff is ways polite and helpful. The store is clean and the music is good. Not the elevator like music some places pay. I went desperately searching for the Spider-Man foam posits and it got lucky and found them there!!! I've bought a ton of shoes from them and will be buying more. read more

Problem was resolved but she automatically called security on my husband because he demanded a refund in cash or proof on a receipt showing it was being refunded and not 4 days later. The guy shouldnt have processed the gift credit card of they dont take that form of payment. I'm not sure if the policy was different back then but for the past 8 months I've been going to different sheikhs, they always let me exchange or return shoes no matter which shiekh's I got it from. So I'm not sure if Shirley had a employee who didn't know what the policy was or maybe it was different back then. I would also like to point out shiekh's is privately owned, it's not the same as foot locker where it is a big franchise. Also, shiekh (the owner himself) sometimes comes to the stores and sees how things are going, you could always bring concerns to the right management. read more

I didn't like this Shiekh plus he was being all rude and unfriendly towards me, not ever trying to explain that it might be their stupid Stockton policy.. I bought a pair of shoes from the Shiekh in Webestown mall and I tried returning it at this one (Sherwood mall) and they told me to go return it at the one I bought it at.... Um, that is so stupid... I bought it at SHIEKH. That's like Target asking to return what we've purchased at the one we bought it at. I don't care if the malls are right next to each other.... That don't matter. Also, it's stupid how they have like three Shieks altogether at the malls. Ridiculous... BY THE WAY, I bought a pair of shoes for my boyfriend, and was supposably on sale for $59.97 and I happen to find the same exact pair of shoe at Foot Locker for $49.99...... I will NEVER shop at Shiekh Shoes again. I ordered a pair of shoes and prepaid for them. Being promised that I would receive them in 3 days. 8 days and two failed pick-up dates later...still NO SHOES. Very bad customer service. I was told by the manager that I was looking at it all in a "negative" way. ARE YOU KIDDING??!! They have my money; I have NO Shoes! Who is really losing here?? If they did not have the shoe available, then they should have made that clear in the first place and I could have saved us all some frustration. Shopping for shoes have always been a nightmare for me, because I am just picky by nature. I was honestly expecting this to be another lackluster experience but was thoroughly surprised by how much fun I had this time. When I first walked in I was greeted by an employee who genuinely seemed like he enjoyed what he was doing, that right there just seemed awesome to begin with. I was mindlessly staring into the endless column of shoes when the same employee popped up by my side and introduced himself as Sam and asked if there was anything he could help me with today, of course being my usual picky self I immediately said no and that I was just "browsing", this is when things went from lackluster to amazing he stated why don't you check this pair out it seems like it would match your type of style. I snapped out of my mindless shoe trance to look where he was pointing and Jesus! This guy was gold, it was absolutely something I would wear!! He saw the sparkle in my eye and I just smiled. Now, pondering on my key factor of comfort, I asked him if they were comfortable he simply stated absolutely (this is the point where I assume they'll say anything to make a sale so I didn't really believe him) but right at this moment he pointed to his feet. Dear God he was wearing a pair himself!!! He just laughed and said that he can only share what he knows for himself and told me it added an extra bounce in his step. Needless to say I bought the shoes, happily, and for the first time without a doubt in my mind. While I was paying he mentioned that if I enjoyed his customer service a yelp review would be greatly appreciated. Honestly, this was the worst experience and I can see why this company is going bankrupt. My fiancé and I entered into a raffle online for a pair of shoes. The app never updated or sent us an email. We call the store and the associate told us that we both won the raffle and that we could pick our shoes up in the morning. We arrive and we tell the manager (Hispanic woman) that we won. She refused to release the shoes to us because the app did not send out an email. She said we would have to wait until 1 PM to pick the shoes up. She would not verify our identity on the raffle list with our drivers licenses. She kept saying regardless of us being on the list as winners we have to wait to get our shoes. Regardless of the situation being out of her hands as far as the email aspect this manager was highly rude and disrespectful. She would talk over my fiancé like he was a second class citizen. Once again. I definitely see why this company is going down the drain. The customer service is terrible and they hire THE most ignorant individuals to "manage" a store. read more
