Q Car Care

I've used Q Car Care twice now, first for a full detail and ceramic coating last year, and most…read morerecently for a refresh, and they've been consistently outstanding. These guys clearly take pride in their work. You can tell right away this isn't just another detailing shop, they're passionate about what they do and it shows in every detail. The car came back looking better than new, with a level of finish and care that's hard to find. What I appreciate most is the consistency. A year after the ceramic coating, the car still holds up incredibly well, and their follow-up detail brought everything right back to that just-done look. They're professional, easy to work with, and they treat your car like it actually matters. If you're considering detailing or ceramic coating, don't overthink it, Q Car Care delivers.

The car had 39 miles on it, so I went back and forth for a month via email until they finally decided to do the right thing and replace the damaged part. Then noticed that my PPF (which was largely done well) was peeling in a few spots on the edge, I asked to have it looked at under warranty, and they just stopped responding to my emails. Also worth mentioning, when I picked my car up, it had pieces of PPF stuck in random spots and hand prints both inside and out, they also scratched up my key fob that was handed to them new. Avoid this place, they act like they're high quality and top tier, but reality is far from that.

We patronize all 3 departments, buy (Sunoco) gas at the lowest prices in the area (at the Woburn Scrub a Dub), and patronize the Scrub a Dub Woburn Convenience Store. Our cars are on monthly, unlimited plans, and they look like new, a combination of a super high quality ceramic coating, installed by All Pro Detailing in Peabody, MA, and weekly Scrub a Dub car washes. The manager of the Woburn, Scrub a Dub car wash, Pete, does an exceptional job, as does, Luis, his detail shop manager.

The business operations and the workplace culture are both equally poor. Why is it that after 5 PM--while the tunnel wash is still open--the convenience carts with towels and window cleaner are consistently empty? This isn't an occasional issue; it's a regular, predictable problem, and it reflects ongoing management neglect. What makes it worse is the attitude. When I've pointed out the empty carts, the cashier or manager inside the convenience store has told me to "talk to the guys in the car wash." That's unacceptable. It shouldn't be my responsibility as a customer to track down employees and coordinate basic service tasks. Even then, the car wash staff often respond with attitude, as if I'm an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. This repeated experience signals deeper issues: poor leadership, lack of accountability, and a bad workplace culture. It's long overdue for Scrub a Dub's ownership to step out of the office and take a closer look at what's happening at their locations. This company appears to have grown too large and lost the service standards and culture its founder originally envisioned. Management on the ground is clearly not doing its job. I'm fed up with this place. If it weren't for the quality of the tunnel car wash, I'd avoid it entirely.
