Had an unfortunate experience where there was supposed to be a special event over a few days. Management apparently did not tell the staff and they were totally unprepared. I did stay and order though. The prep and dining areas are OK but not extremely welcoming. The iced latte was OK but the lid didn't fit the cup and needed to be taped on. Small cafe in the Colonial Square Town Center serving up quick fare breakfast and lunch eats including an array of coffees. The barista Jenny sported a great bubbly personality which was a perfect lift to our early morning. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese and watched the chef perform his creation right in front of us in the tiny yet thoughtfully designed kitchen. The fluffy bagels were presented nicely with parsley flakes scattered on the plate, which displays an attention to detail. The bagels were soft with a heavy schmear of cream cheese and the cortado was a perfect compliment to wash it down. My next trip here I will try the avocado toast with a floating egg topper which looked scrumptious. The multi-gender bathroom was clean with bright wall painting decor which definitely adds a nice touch. read more

Love trying out little café's especially that I am a iced coffee fanatic. Came to this little Café on a Wednesday, I wish it was sunnier today but I made the best of it. I had an iced caramel latte with whipped cream and caramel. It was pretty strong but still very good. It gave me that caffeine energy I needed. I also had an egg, spinach, tomatoes, and cheese panini in which I didn't know came with chips. It was delicious with a little hint of balsamic in it. The place is small but very nice, I personally preferred to sit by the window on the stools where it didn't feel so crowded for me. Prices are reasonable and located in the six mile plaza. Overall if you love coffee and breakfast go check them out! read more

Stopped by for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by this adorable cafe tucked away between the big players, first watch and chipotle. No offense to those places but I always prefer supporting a small business when I can. The chicken panini was juicy, flavorful and delicious. Tripe berry crepe was the perfect sweet treat and iced latte was smooth and refreshing. This place is small but perfect for a quick lunch, meeting a friend for coffee/lunch (they have a high chair for anyone visiting with a young child) and they have a cute counter if you want to come sit with a coffee and get some work done as well. We're always on the lookout to find new coffee shops or cafes. We were so happy to discover Cafe Flore. Their menu has a good variety of fresh food and drink options that everyone in the group can find something to enjoy. We each ordered a different crepe. The pizza crepes were a fun twist on what we traditionally used to getting for a crepe and had great flavor. The addition of balsamic glaze was a nice touch to the crepes and added some good acidity. The lattes had lots of different options to customize it to your perfect drink. I got a vanilla latte with added lavender. It had the perfect amount of flavor and wasn't too sweet. The staff was so incredible. They answered any questions we had and checked on us regularly. They were out of some ingredients and let us know which items were not currently available. We were able to easily pick something else from the menu. To go, we placed an order of beignets. They were warm, soft, and fluffy. Everything you hope for in a beignets. Cafe Flore is worth the visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. The crepe itself is worth eating. Berries were fresh and sweet and the honey drizzle on top was the perfect topping. Coffee wasn't quite as strong as I like but still good and tasty. If you like crepes this is a must stop. read more

What I ordered (breakfast panini and caprese panini) was supposed to be served with ciabatta bread but was instead prepared with sliced white bread. Also it was supposed to be scrambled eggs and in both was just a thin frittata. Unfortunately it was a take out so I couldn't complain and just ate the frittata. -the cheese was melted on the bread so it went all in the trash :( read more

Amazing service from the nice ladies and delicious food!! We were greeted with smiles and attentiveness:) I love the decor and the soft music was relaxing. I really enjoyed my mocha, it was so frothy and the froth was very fluffy almost like whipped cream. The chocolate and coffee flavors melded together perfectly. Even my boyfriend enjoyed it, and he doesn't even like mochas! I ate the caprese panini which was good. Cafe Flore is such a gem! I've been here on a couple of occasions and have enjoyed it each time. Most recently, I stopped by in the hope of some coffee and breakfast while I got some work done. I ordered a hot caramel latte made with almond milk as well as a egg and cheese breakfast bagel sandwich. The sandwich typically comes with turkey, but they were fine with adjustments and I was able to get it without the turkey. The sandwich came out piping hot and was delish. If you're dining in, the latte comes in a mug. The espresso wasn't as strong as I typically enjoy but it was a solid beverage. The service is lovely. Seriously, they have the sweetest folks in here. The space is small but every time I've been in, I've been able to find a seat at a table. Get to it! read more

After shopping at Whole Foods, I remembered a fellow Yelper telling us about Cafe Flore. We were glad to see they were still open until four in the afternoon. So we stopped in for a Cafe Mocha and a Cappuccino. The owner was very friendly and he brought us our two drinks that were beautifully done. Dave's had like a double heart on his. Both drinks were done perfectly. I am a cappuccino snob, I like it foamy and strong. We will be returning when we are in the neighborhood to this little store that also does sandwiches, paninis, crepes and beignets. read more

This is a real nice small coffee shop! It had the necessary danishes and sandwiches and gluten free offerings! My friend and I got some cappuccino's and their beignets. which for the first time since I've been to New Orleans, weren't that bad. they look different, but they were still tasty and not greasy! A couple behind the counter were very nice and helpful, especially me with my little diet although I splurged on the beignets. All in all I will definitely go back very nice little place. read more

There were only a few tables inside and we were lucky enough to snag one. The staff were super friendly. What a great local coffee shop! The inside is cute & minimal and I loved the mural spanning the space. The staff was super friendly as we perused the menu, and my decision was easy once I saw that they have a seasonal fall menu featuring house made syrups. The carrot cake one immediately caught my eye, and I ordered a carrot cake latte. My husband got the classic pumpkin spice and yep, it was like drinking fall in a cup. It's so cool to see a gem like this reppin' the hometown. Also cool that they brew Bandit Coffee (out of St. Pete) which we are big fans of. Meyers, a request for Matcha was made and sure enough we spent the early morning yelping for Matcha and found this place. It looks fairly new and is part of an apartment t complex. The place is small, and sure enough the clientele fitted the Matcha seekers that have popped up in all urban areas. There were Lululemon' on display, women with tiny dogs, bodies that should all be on the cover of magazines and foreign cars in the parking lot. My daughter got her Matcha which set her on a high energy mood and excited for the rest of the day, so atleast I got something out of it. I did not want to be seen anywhere near a Matcha place so had my dark glasses on, a cap and stayed close to the entrance. My daughter did order me a chocolate chip cookie to make up for my misery and In all fairness it was really good. My daughter raved about her Matcha hence the 4 stars. So if you are craving Matcha, carry a small dog and fit in Lululemon clothing you have found your match!!

It listed Vermicelli salad Bowl, Banh Mi Chao, Pateso Cake and crab Rangoon and a Shaking Beef rice plate and other items! I ordered a Banh Mi Chao and a Taro Milk Tea for lunch as my taste test! What is Banh Mi Chao? Banh Mi Chao a rather popular, savory Vietnamese brunch or comfort food dish that tastes like a sizzling, elevated breakfast skillet. It consists of a hot pan filled with combinations of pâté, sunny-side-up eggs, sausages, meat balls, meats (like filet mignon, beef belly, or pork), and combined with tomato or soy-based sauce, served with a crispy baguette for dipping. That is a mouthful! This Banh Mi Chao is rich, creamy, and savory. When I dipped the baguette into that sauce, meat, and egg mixture, and biting into the baguette, I was in heaven! You normally ordered this at specialty Vietnamese cafes and brunch spots, offering a more customizable experience than a pre-made Banh Mi sandwich! The Taro Milk Tea suited me fine.
