I'm writing the review because I called today for an appointment and set it up. I arrived on time and it was like I had never called. 40 minutes later, everyone is still busy and not able to take me. My issue is, they never should have made the appointment. If they knew they were understaffed or running behind, they could've told me. So, I'll be moving on to a new salon. I am very picky about it looking natural, and I always get compliments on my hair after she has worked her magic on it. Eva is such an incredibly talented beauty artist- she does everything from brow microblading, to eyelash extensions, incredible haircolor (including ombre, peakaboo highlights) and she has also styled hair for world class editorial photographers including Erich Caparas of Tampa, and Lindsay Adler of New York. I have not personally had my brows done by her, but last night while she cut, colored and styled my hair in her salon I met a woman who had the brow microblading done and was blown away by how the shaping suited her so naturally and looked so detailed like real brows. When I returned to have them corrected, the response was dismissive, and I was told that the color was simply "supposed to do that." I did not feel that the quality of the service matched the price, nor was the issue handled professionally. Despite that experience, I later decided to give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, the customer service was still an issue. After the salon provided me with the wrong total--and after my friend and I had already been overcharged--the owner followed me outside to my car, knocked on my window, and demanded an additional $5. The situation could have been resolved calmly inside the salon, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and uncomfortable. No apology was offered for the billing confusion or the interaction afterward. I understand that mistakes happen, but how a business responds to those mistakes matters. Between the premature chipping, inconsistent billing, and poor handling of my concerns, I ultimately chose to take my business elsewhere.
