This was the first place I selected and hit it out of the park on the first try. Thank God! That was in 2013. Evie has been cutting and styling my hair ever since. She listens to what you want, clarifies with you to make sure she understands, and when she says she is taking off an inch, it's an inch. Not an inch and a half to two inches. She also takes me on time and has never canceled on me. Her bubbly personality makes me look forward to seeing her every time I return. The prices are really reasonable too. That was important. I never understood paying $100 to get some dead ends cut off and a blow dry.

The last time I was in I believe I had a specialist named Donatella. I told her that I do get a little jumpy with waxes and that it has been a while so I know it would be pretty painful. But like a pro, she was able to start conversations with me to get my mind off the wax and we talked about all kinds of topics and before I knew it, we were done! That's a truly great specialist right there who knows how to care for their patients that are a little bit more sensitive to the service. She also didn't try to push any products on me which I loved. The vibe of this location is friendly and clean. There is only ever one other person in the waiting room so I feel that there are plenty of specialists for the appointments and you never wait long. I've come early several times and was able to get my wax early so they are truly flexible. I really appreciate the service here! I showed the nail tech what I wanted and he started right away -- however, they don't soak your nails, cut off the dead skin and cuticles, lotion massage -- none of that. They didn't have builder gel, so I went with Gel X - even their shortest tip was still pretty long. I had to ask for it to be filed down a couple times. Not to mention, the glue under the nail was super thick. I asked for it to be cut down and filed three times before I left and it's still a huge chunk of glue under my nails, especially my thumb. Not sure if that's par for the course with Gel X, but it's not comfortable. The actual design came out beautiful, and for that they get the stars they did. However; $105 for this feels like a gut-punch. It wasn't even a full manicure in regard to aforementioned lack of cuticle care, lotion, skin cutting, etc. I'll only come here again if I have no other option.

He agreed to one, but wouldn't give me a receipt for the refund. I had to ask for an apology. I called the next day to ask about my refund receipt and he was rude again on the phone. From the comfy little white couch in the waiting area to the cozy wash room with blankies, it's very chic and clean. I've gone to Amanda (@lemmedoyourhair on IG) twice now and I love how she explains everything to me as she goes, but is also super personable. She uses mostly Oribe styling products which smell so good and give that fresh salon feel. Amanda always listens and delivers on what I'm looking for -- she chats through pricing with me too so I don't end up with a price higher than I can afford. I totally appreciate that. At my last appointment, the shop assistant, Carleigh, introduced herself and offered me a delicious mimosa. The shampoo bowl and chairs are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in. Amanda draped a cozy blanket over me while we waited for my gloss to finish. I definitely fell asleep, it was so peaceful in there even with the hustle and bustle of a Saturday morning. The space is impeccably clean, modern, welcoming, and decorated fabulously! Every stylist is sweet. I love looking forward to my appointments with Faviane! She listens empathetically with a hair concern (or a personal crisis) and treats you with the upmost care. She is honest with her feedback and she wants you to feel and look your best. And you do! I feel as if every visit has been a hug. I didn't have any other days that I could come back this week so Jenny, serviced me. I must say she did OK with the pedicure, and eyebrows but she was a little rough handling me. I gave a Low rating because I tripped over a mat with water and food on it for some kind of pet. After tripping and spilling the contents several of the employees stared a big conversation amongst themselves in their language. This was not my fault they put this in front of the area where you walk out of the facial area. I felt they were talking about me in a negative way. Consumer beware when you don't understand the language and the technicians start talking in their language makes it uncomfortable for the clients. Please refrain from showing your displeasure. My feelings were hurt and I may not come back.
