She listens to what you want, clarifies with you to make sure she understands, and when she says she is taking off an inch, it's an inch. Not an inch and a half to two inches. She also takes me on time and has never canceled on me. Her bubbly personality makes me look forward to seeing her every time I return. The prices are really reasonable too. That was important. I never understood paying $100 to get some dead ends cut off and a blow dry.

The stylists get 5 stars- they know what they are doing. I have had a full dye, partial highlights and full highlights numerous times and have had the best cut and style to go along with the color. Verica is my personal favorite and have gone to her each time I've gone in except once when she was out injured. (The gal I saw was a temp and she was just as awesome!) So now for the hold off on the star. The owner sees dollar signs in everyone that walks in - if you know this ahead of time you can prepare yourself. Read on: The first 2 times I was duped in to additional services that I did not request nor did I know about until I paid at the end and wondered why my bill was so high. In asking what I was paying for I found that the first time it was for a pre-treatment & after treatment since they dyed my whole head to get it all one base color. Then the second time was an additional conditioner added after she washed and conditioned my hair. So now that I was educated, I asked them not to add anything on unless it was shown to me and approved by me. Haven't had an issue since. Still go there and will continue to. It's nice to be pampered and enjoy a glass of wine while your hair is getting done!

There are some wax specialists and some waxes that are better than others , but for the most part, the quality of care I receive is great! The last time I was in I believe I had a specialist named Donatella. I told her that I do get a little jumpy with waxes and that it has been a while so I know it would be pretty painful. But like a pro, she was able to start conversations with me to get my mind off the wax and we talked about all kinds of topics and before I knew it, we were done! That's a truly great specialist right there who knows how to care for their patients that are a little bit more sensitive to the service. She also didn't try to push any products on me which I loved. The vibe of this location is friendly and clean. There is only ever one other person in the waiting room so I feel that there are plenty of specialists for the appointments and you never wait long. I've come early several times and was able to get my wax early so they are truly flexible. I really appreciate the service here! He agreed to one, but wouldn't give me a receipt for the refund. I had to ask for an apology. I called the next day to ask about my refund receipt and he was rude again on the phone. From the comfy little white couch in the waiting area to the cozy wash room with blankies, it's very chic and clean. I've gone to Amanda (@lemmedoyourhair on IG) twice now and I love how she explains everything to me as she goes, but is also super personable. She uses mostly Oribe styling products which smell so good and give that fresh salon feel. Amanda always listens and delivers on what I'm looking for -- she chats through pricing with me too so I don't end up with a price higher than I can afford. I totally appreciate that. At my last appointment, the shop assistant, Carleigh, introduced herself and offered me a delicious mimosa. The shampoo bowl and chairs are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in. Amanda draped a cozy blanket over me while we waited for my gloss to finish. I definitely fell asleep, it was so peaceful in there even with the hustle and bustle of a Saturday morning. During my first visit, I paid approximately $60, including tip, for a gel refill. Within only two days, several nails had chipped and the polish began peeling. When I returned to have them corrected, the response was dismissive, and I was told that the color was simply "supposed to do that." I did not feel that the quality of the service matched the price, nor was the issue handled professionally. Despite that experience, I later decided to give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, the customer service was still an issue. After the salon provided me with the wrong total--and after my friend and I had already been overcharged--the owner followed me outside to my car, knocked on my window, and demanded an additional $5. The situation could have been resolved calmly inside the salon, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and uncomfortable. No apology was offered for the billing confusion or the interaction afterward. I understand that mistakes happen, but how a business responds to those mistakes matters. Between the premature chipping, inconsistent billing, and poor handling of my concerns, I ultimately chose to take my business elsewhere.
