You buy a debit card, load value onto it (with cards or bills) and use that to pay for your washing and drying. It's pretty simple. I had no problem buying the card, adding value, running one super huge washer and then splitting my stuff into three dryers. It's quicker to split stuff up like that. There is enough space for folding the dry clothes. When all was said and done, I was able to turn my card back to the attendant and get the card purchase back. I had timed the dryers right so I had no left over value. Maybe they don't do that for everyone, but I was nice and told her I was visiting my mom and that I was just passing through.
