I LOVE SHIPLEYS!! I use to be so loyal to Krispie K, but now I feel like I was too stubborn and should've just tried Shipley's. They tasted like real donuts, they weren't airy, and mine were fresh and hot. I wish they had more options for Kolaches given that I don't eat certain meats. Other than that I was definitely pleased! I only got two donuts but I ate one of them before taking a picture. (:

Donut whole more like monkey bread

Donut holes are more like monkey bread. They don't taste very good. The sausage kolaches were decent though. It was all pretty dry though.

    Very inconsistent kolache sizes

The donuts were old , and so were the kolaches. I got the ham and cheese kolache , but it did not have any cheese I was very disappointed. We got a total of 6 kolaches and they were all different sizes One was all bread and another was bearly any bread. I love shipleys donuts, but this location disappointed me

Hard ass donuts, only ordered 2 donuts and was charged for 6

Just went to this stupid store. Worker forgot my hot chocolate, I ordered and Shipley bold kolache with only sausage and cheese and I got a regular size with jalapeño. Definitely don't recommend. And the kolache was hard.

Picked up a few cake donuts the first time I went which was shortly after they opened for business. I went in and was warmly greeted and placed my order. I was in and out in less than three minutes. The second time I went, I went through the drive through and got a glazed donut and a cinnamon twist. I appreciated the fact that the cashier made sure I got the right twist. I did wait a bit longer in the drive through, but it wasn't an unbearable wait. The donuts: Pass on the cake donuts. I don't know what it was exactly, but they tasted weird to me. I couldn't figure out what the flavor was that threw me off...nutmeg maybe? I'll be sticking to my QT cake donut. Now the other two donuts? Pure heaven! Light and airy, perfect amount of glazed deliciousness. Damn near KK, shoot, better than KK! I'm sure I could have easily inhaled three glazed donuts alone. The twist was huge and totally worth the $1.45. Two kids could eat one and be satisfied. All in all a solid three stars. I'll definitely be back for the glazed donut!

There is nothing I didn't like about this place!! Fresh made donuts...YES PLEASE!! I had three their original glazed cake donut, a raspberry filled and a strawberry frosted with chocolate milk!! It's cool to see what goes into making a donut and you can see it through the windows. It makes me sad we don't have these in Michigan.

Open package of sugar I found inside my coffee! #Disgusting

I am totally disgusted!! I come to this Shipley about once a week. As always I ordered a large coffee. They always ask how many creams and sugars. As I am drinking my coffee (about 3/4 gone) I feel something solid touch my mouth. I open the lid to the coffee only to find an open package of sugar. I tried calling the location only to receive a voicemail to what seems like a cell phone number. I find it hard to believe that they didn't realize a package of sugar had fallen into my coffee. That is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! I will not be returning. I can only imagine what else they let fall into their food and drinks and don't dispose of it.

Wow what an amazing experience!…read more We came into Taste Community since we had heard about its service to the community. We did have to wait 15 minutes to be seated but were greeted with very sweet workers who were all volunteers. The energy in there is amazing. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the Chinese salad with lemonade. The food was exceptional and the waiters went above and beyond. They do have restriction on how much you can order as they do not want food to go to waste. A small plate and larger plate was definitely enough food for both of us. You are able to pay/donate how much you can.

The place was lively and all decked out in festive decorations. The interior is very spacious with a lot of places to sit. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and provided superb customer service. Our server was such a sweet lady, friendly, and went above and beyond. She even gave my boy an elf plushie. It was such a thoughtful and kind thing for her to do. My boy hugged the elf and smiled at the lady. Our server made a new friend for sure, since my boy seemed to like her. I wish I had texted or written the name of the server on paper to ensure she knows what a marvelous job she did. I ordered a meat omelet with hash browns. The omelet and hash browns tasted freshly made. I loved how the hash browns were cooked, they were cooked to perfection, and they weren't burnt like many other places. The omelet was so good, especially with some Cholula sauce. 10/10 My boy had a pancake, sausage, and eggs. He seemed to like his food. My friend enjoyed her food as well. This was a wonderful experience. Delicious food and exceptional customer service. Thank you so much for making our experience a memorable one, and a huge thanks to our amazing server. If you have yet to eat hereI highly recommend you stop by.

Eclectic decor - festive Christmas ornaments hanging from ceiling likely year round. Appeared to be several tables of regulars. Very friendly staff. We were immediately greeted and told to sit any where we liked. Great service from our waitress Pinky. Extremely reasonable prices and large portions. Omelettes (3 eggs) are their specialty. They also have a couple homemade bread options- we loved their white bread & raisin bread! We both got the ham, spinach & black olives omelettes with home fries and 2 slices of their delicious homemade bread ($10.99 per plate) Maybe 5 minute wait before we got our food. The food could have used an extra minute or two. Middle part of the omelette was a little runnier than I prefer but I just brought that portion home as leftovers. Would prefer the spinach diced or at least torn into smaller pieces. The home fries are good but only crisp on one side of the potato and several of my chunks weren't crisp at all- but they were soft - so I brought those pieces home and will crisp up in skillet before eating. I never add salt when eating out but I did have to add some salt and pepper to the potatoes. (I eat them without ketchup or any sauce). Menu has so many options and something for everyone. We will go back. Maybe share something or be prepared to bring half home again.
